2005 Jeep Liberty Crd Turbodiesel 4x4, Low Miles, Arb Bumper, Old Man Emu Lift on 2040-cars
Punta Gorda, Florida, United States
2005 Jeep Liberty CRD Turbodiesel, 4x4 with 'full-time' and 'part-time' (2 wheel drive, all wheel drive for bad weather or 4 wheel drive for off road), less than 93k miles, Old Man Emu 2" lift, skid plates, ARB bumper w 8k winch, Green Diesel Engineering tune on ECU, Hella driving lights, LED backup light, tow package, silicone intercooler hoses, lift pump in tank, VG-EXC condition overall w a few interior stains as these jeeps w 'dirt-magnet' fabric all have, some surfboard wax in the back carpet, a few door dings, etc. but very presentable. The windshield was just replaced after some gravel chipped it following a dump truck on the highway so there're no cracks, chips or haziness. Really hard to find Jeep, especially w this low mileage, ready to roll. I've had this Jeep since '09, got it from older gentleman who was fastidious about maintenance, since then I've run nothing but Mobil 1 and synthetic lubes in trans & differentials. Hasn't done much off-roading as I had Kawasaki Mule and Dodge 4x4 cummins on farm, miles are mostly mostly from female college student going to classes on 120 mile round trip several days of the week when we lived in FL Panhandle. I'm now remarried in SW FL with too many vehicles (or so I'm told) so the Jeep has to go...
Jeep is in SW FL but delivery to N FL is possible end of first week in June. Mssg me for phone number, more pics, etc... Thanks, but I don't need any help selling it! |

Another crazy custom Jeep Wrangler spotted in Morocco
Sun, 03 Mar 2013What in the world is the vehicle you see above? Well, um... yeah. We have no idea. According to the video description from YouTube, however, it's a modified Jeep Wrangler, and it comes from the same person who created the equally insane side-by-side merged Wrangler you saw here.
We can clearly make out the Wrangler-shaped passenger compartment up top, but as for the other bits and pieces that make up this rather amazing machine, your guess is as good as ours. At the very least, it seems to us that the car's wheelbase has been given a significant stretch, and the grille may have come from an International LoneStar Harley-Davidson Special Edition semi truck.
What other components are sourced from the massive International hauler? No idea. We suggest you check out the video below and draw your own conclusions. Oh, and if you've got any other ideas, feel free to let us know in the Comments.
Jeep Liberty replacement takes shape
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Now that the Liberty has left us for greener pastures, it's time to start looking into the future of the midsize Jeep model. The next all-new vehicle for the off-road brand will be the SUV you see here, effectively replacing the Liberty, and not necessarily carrying on with that name.
From the sides, the prototype you see here sort of looks like a miniature version of the handsome Grand Cherokee, albeit with a bit more in the way of body sculpting. Up front, the seven-slat grille will be front and center, with completely revised headlamp designs that are reportedly angular and sweep well into the front fenders (you can sort of see what we're talking about in the side profile). That doesn't sound very Jeep-like, but we'll reserve judgment until we, you know, see the thing.
The bigger question with the Liberty replacement will be whether or not its off-road chops will be up to snuff. After all, the two previous generations of Liberty models were body-on-frame traditional SUVs, whereas this new Jeep rides on a larger version of the Dodge Dart platform.
Jeep Renegade and Fiat 500X finally on the way to dealers
Mon, Jun 1 2015After a brief pause, the Jeep Renegade and Fiat 500X are on their way to dealers again. While initially reported as a software bug, the issue had nothing to do with the models themselves. According to a statement from FCA US to Autoblog, the "vehicles were built with an atypical Vehicle Identification Number that may not be recognized as valid by some computer systems." That problem has now been fixed. FCA US held the compact crossovers back from dealers until the company could rectify the bug. If the CUVs had been delivered, there would have been difficulty registering the vehicles, according to Automotive News. Before discovering the situation, about 20 of these Renegades were sold to customers. FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne originally discussed the predicament in late May. "I'm having a very bad engineering day," he said. "It's a combination of attributes of that vehicle that is making my life horrible." While the boss predicted the problem would be fixed as late as mid-June, the company apparently got things working much quicker than that. Related Video: FCA US Statement A limited number of 2015 Jeep Renegade and 2016 Fiat 500X vehicles were built with an atypical Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) that may not be recognized as valid by some computer systems. This VIN issue has been resolved. FCA US has been working with governmental agencies, insurers and financial institutions with whom customers may interact to ensure successful registration, financing and insurance coverage. Renegade and 500X vehicles are being shipped and are in stock at dealerships for purchase. The VIN issue is entirely separate from the operation of the vehicle.
