Selling this vehicle for my girlfriend. She is the owner and has clear title in hand. She bought this Jeep in April 2012 with 118,084 miles according to the title.
Overall condition of the body is good. Paint is pretty good as seen in the pictures. Jeep has a few minor scratches and dings common for an 11 year old vehicle. Interior is decent, besides a tear in the drivers side seat that has been stitched up and some dog hair mainly on the carpet and back seat.
Drive line is great. Transmission shifts smooth and the four wheel drive engages in and out with no problems. Tires are in like new condition. Jeep is inspected until November of 2013.
THE BAD Jeeps coolant system holds coolant until normal operating temperature. After Jeep warms up, it pushes coolant out of the coolant reservoir. The radiator and thermostat are brand new and were replace by a repair shop but did not fix the issue. Motor oil is clean with no signs of moisture, compression seems to be normal since there is no check engine light on. I believe the Jeep may need a head or head gasket repaired or replaced. I'm not a mechanic so I could be wrong. Could be an easy fix, but I have my doubts. Feel free to make arrangements to come check out the Jeep in person. If you have any questions I will answer them to the best of my ability.
She no longer needs the Jeep since she bought a replacement vehicle instead. Selling Jeep AS-IS Condition with no Warranty. Cash or certified check are accepted as forms of payment. After 48 hours of action ending a deposit of $200.00 must be made unless prearranged agreements are made.

Texan finds creative way to clear highway fast lane
Tue, Jun 14 2016Few things are as infuriating as someone driving slow in the fast lane. A Jeep driver from Texas found himself in just such a predicament near Fort Worth, and came up with a creative way to urge the offending lane-blocker to get a move on. Machine, a YouTuber and off-road enthusiast from the Lone Star State, posted some dashcam footage to his account back in March which showed him stuck behind a slow driver. He was attempting to pass a slow-moving bobtail Peterbilt tractor when he got hung up by a white Ford Econoline squatting in the passing lane. On his YouTube page, Machine stated that the van, which apparently belonged to a plumbing company, was traveling along between 60 and 70 miles per hour along a stretch of highway with a stated speed limit of 70 mph. Confronted with the slow-moving van blocking the left lane, and traffic in the right lane, Machine called the number on the back of the Econoline and politely asked him to get out of the way. In the Econoline, the passenger picked up and was momentarily confused as Machine asked him to ask his driver to move out of the lane and let traffic pass. The van sped up, passed a tractor-trailer, and got out of the way, much to the relief of the traffic behind him. According to CBS news, 38 states have laws on the books to punish slow drivers squatting in the passing lane. In five of those states, the fine is upwards of $1000, and 22 states classify it as a misdemeanor. Germany threatens to ban FCA vehicles over diesel emissions dispute
Tue, May 24 2016Germany is threatening to ban sales of FCA products over diesel emissions. According to the newspaper Bild Am Sonntag, Germany's Federal Motor Transport Authority found evidence of a so-called defeat device that shuts down certain emissions controls after running for 22 minutes. A standard diesel emissions test in the European Union reportedly takes 20 minutes to complete. FCA denies the allegations. "We believe all our vehicles respect EU emissions standards and we believe Italian regulators are the competent authority to evaluate this," the company said in a statement. The latter part of that statement drew ire from German authorities, especially after FCA declined to meet with German transport minister Alexander Dobrindt to discuss the issue. Graziano Delrio, the Italian Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, vowed to work with German authorities on behalf of FCA. According to EU law, FCA is required to homologate its vehicles in Italy because that's where its regional operations are based. When will the diesel-scented soap opera end? We wish we knew, but our Magic 8 Ball is covered in soot.
