No Reserve! 6.1 Hemi, Navigation, Only 22,00 Miles, Back-up Camera, Heated Seats on 2040-cars
Staten Island, New York, United States
Up for sale is this super clean 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 with the 6.1 Liter Hemi Engine. This vehicle is a immaculate vehicle with no
accident history in the autocheck report. This vehicle has only 22,000
original miles!!! Unfortunately, this vehicle
was involved in fresh
water flood and is being sold with a New York salvage certificate. We
are not sure
why this vehicle was branded a flood because we can see no sign of any
water damage at all and the vehicle is in perfect running order with
all the electronics working perfectly (see my video). Every switch and
button in this car is working the way it should. There is absolutely no
reason this vehicle should have been branded a salvage
title because this vehicle is PERFECT!
This SRT-8 is very
clean and has a Satin Black exterior with gray leather/suede interior
accented
by carbon fiber trimming.
The leather seats are in like new condition and they are also
heated and
fully powered with lumbar functions. This SRT-8 just turned 22k
miles (which is extremely low for this year) and it runs and drives
fantastically. The
drive is so responsive and powerful, its like driving a corvette. Every
feature in the car is working the way it should including the A/C. The
air conditioning in this car is ICE cold and the heat in this car is as
hot as you could want it to be. This vehicle is ready for its
new owner and needs nothing at all done to it.
This SRT-8 is loaded up with every possible
option that could have been ordered. It has full leather interior with heated seats, lumbar seats
that blow up with air, power adjustable pedals, navigation
system, rear parking sensors with rear back-up camera, 20 inch chome wheels, cross drilled rotors, power glass moonroof, 6-Disc in-dash CD changer, xenon headlights, all wheel drive system, on board
computer, upgraded boston acoustics sound system,
remote keyless entry with alarm, power tilt steering wheel, traction
control, and all the
power features you could possibly think of. This Jeep comes with the original key
fob. We also have all the floor mats, the complete owners manuals and booklet set for this
car, the first aid kit, and the spare tire and jack. Its all there as it was when it was new. This vehicle was
very well cared for and it
shows. The maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is
reliable and runs like a dream. The car performance tires
all around with plenty on tread remaining. We have driven it 1000 miles
and it seems to be running and
driving 100%. You can literally jump in this vehicle and drive it 2,000
miles back home without any problems. We changed all the motor and
transmission fluids and the vehicle has good brakes, good rotors, and
good windshield wiper blades. The exterior of the vehicle is clean. The paint is nice and
glossy and all the body lines are perfect and straight. The paint
shines like glass and you can see your reflection in it. The body is in
above average condition and there is no real blemishes to point out on
this vehicle at all. The car shows extremely well, especially for its
age. This car also seems to be all original with no paint or
bodywork. This is probably the cleanest SRT on ebay right now. The interior of
the
vehicle is also super clean. The seats
have no cracks or rips and the leather is very firm and supple. The
dash and door panels are also very nice and clean. All the carbon fiber trimmings and other interior trims are in perfect condition. The
interior is perfect condition in my
opinion. They dont get much better than this. This car
is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage title. It is the
buyers responsibility to know the laws and requirements for registering
a salvage vehicle in their state. If you would like to see the car and
test drive it, you are
more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the
buy-it-now price. If you are located outside my
local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped
to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within
24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in
full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other
arrangements are discussed with me in advance. With that being said,
feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any
questions or concerns. My number is 347-636-5336.
Thanks and good luck

Maserati Levante crossover not Jeep based after all?
Thu, 20 Feb 2014Maserati has been teasing its crossover project since 2011, which is when it first showed off the Kubang concept (pictured above). Still, the production version, rumored to be called the Levante, remains a complete mystery. The CUV was first rumored to borrow the platform from the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but new rumors indicate that the Italian, luxury crossover might actually take the underpinnings from the Quattroporte and Ghibli.
In a brief interview, Maserati CEO Harald Wester told CNN Money that the Levante wouldn't use Jeep's platform. Motor Trend spoke with an unnamed Maserati engineer who confirmed the rumor. Officially, the company says that no decision has been made.
We can add this to another long list of rumors about the Italian CUV. It was originally supposed to be built at Chrysler's Jefferson North assembly plant in Detroit. Then, plans were changed to build it in Italy.
NHTSA investigating why Jeep recall fix is taking so long
Mon, 07 Jul 2014Jeep's saga with the National Traffic Safety Administration and the voluntary campaign to repair 1.56 million vehicles for allegedly unsafe trailer hitches, is getting yet another chapter. The controversy appeared to finally be over in January when the automaker found a supplier for the replacement parts. Nothing is ever that easy, though, and the government regulator is now requesting documents from the company to clarify why the repairs are taking so long to begin.
Jeep parent company Chrysler has until July 16 to submit documents and answers to NHTSA explaining the situation. The regulator claims that despite its compromise to inspect and repair the models with improper hitches in June 2013, Chrysler didn't find a part supplier until December and didn't order the replacements until January. The government agency believes that the first components weren't manufactured until May of this year and vehicles may not actually be repaired until as late as August. According to the report, if the Chrysler doesn't supply what NHTSA is asking for, the agency could "take additional appropriate action as warranted."
Throughout this entire process, Chrysler has asserted that the vehicles met the applicable crash test standards of the time, and it has kept NHTSA abreast of the repair activity. In a recently released statement it said that the regulator analyzed eight rear impact reconstruction tests and found the replacement hitch to be safe. To keep up with the high demand for replacements, Chrysler is working with multiple suppliers, and they are running three shifts, six days a week to get the parts ready as soon as possible.
Chrysler adding 200 jobs at Ohio Jeep Wrangler plant
Fri, 15 Mar 2013Chrysler is betting that the Jeep Wrangler will continue its strong sales surge as it continues to push the legendary brand out across the globe. The Auburn Hills automaker is reportedly adding 200 workers at the Toledo, Ohio plant that builds the Wrangler. What's more, those new hires will be at their posts quickly - they'll be on the job by April 1. Of those 200 workers, 130 employees will be there to relieve those who need breaks.
Why do they need so many relief workers? The Toledo Jeep Complex is currently working at a torrid pace with two ten-hour shifts. A third shift has been ruled out for the moment because of a production botttleneck - the plant's paint shop is already maxed out. According to Reuters, Wrangler production in 2012 cleared 200,000 units, and US sales were up by 16 percent.
Another part of the Toledo plant is presently down as Chrysler retools the line to build Jeep's divisively styled Liberty replacement, the Cherokee (seen in our gallery below). Production for the new model is scheduled to begin toward the end of May.
