NO RESERVE SALE AND ONLY A 3 DAY AUCTION,ENDS SUNDAY!
I traded for this Jeep from a local owner a couple weeks back when he bought a newer Jeep. This Jeep has an engine that is NOISY. He had it looked at by the local Jeep dealer and he said they told him it needs lifters. I do not have a repair facility here at my dealership, so I cant confirm that. I have a car washing and detailing facility here only. No technicians here to diagnose or verify his shops thoughts. You can start it right up with a quick turn of the key. It can be driven easily onto a trailer or dolly, but I would not recommend driving it home. If it can be fixed with new lifters, there is no reason to damage it. You are welcome to come and inspect it yourself prior to bidding on it, or send your technician to see it. I have listed it at no reserve so it will sell to the high bidder on Sunday. If you want to make me an offer to end the auction early through Ebay, feel free to make an offer. If I like it, I will help you own it through the eBAY system. I have over 300 transactions on here, and over a decade of selling on here. Many of my transactions were for collectible cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles etc. I have sold old Caddys, Jags, Harleys, and more. I have never had a customer leave me negative feedback. I will answer all questions honestly and completely. Just ask me anything you need to know. No question is too small. Don't assume anything, please ask questions..
This Jeep is a 4.7 V8 engine model with full time 4x4. It has a selectable hi and low range. It has dual power seats, and a moonroof. It is fully equipped with all power options, and an Infinity Gold stereo that was playing when I shot pics tonight. The moonroof was tested too, it works. I did not test all the other power options, so I cannot testify for them. I did not attempt to do anything except move it about on the lot, shoot some pics and drive it to the other side of the lot. I wont be trying to test drive it on the road. If has a nice set of chrome wheels from a 2004 Jeep that the customer swapped on to it when we traded. These are nice wheels, with one almost new tire as pictured and 3 okay used ones. The interior is in above average shape for a 1999 with no strange smells. It has been cleaned up so you wont have to do that. This trcuk is worthy of an engine repair or swap, and would make a great father and son project or weekend mechanics tinkering..
The glass is all good with a couple of windshield chips, and all side and rear glass is good. The paint is mostly very shiny. The plastic lower section looks good ,but these always look better when kept armoralled. The headlights are okay, but a little hazy. Cheap replacements can be bought on here or at aftermarket suppliers. Truck transmission goes right into gear both forward and reverse, and lot drives fine. I have not highway driven it. Ideally, a trailer or dolly is my suggestion. If you live within a reasonable distance from me, I can load it and deliver it for a reasonable fee. Contact me about that. I cant deliver it more than about 200 miles from St Louis, MO., so keep that in mind. I wont be delivering it to Florida or California...:)
The truck will need to be paid for before I will load it or deliver it if Im hauling it, or if you are using a shipper. All delivery costs will be paid by the buyer,no exceptions.
I have a clear title in my hand, free of any and all liens, ready to deliver to the next buyer.
If you need to arrange permission,a loan, or have other details to work out, please do so before bids.
If you want to text me or call my cell my number is 314-608-9828. Texts are always fine, I will answer as promptly as possible . I will answer all calls if I CAN, BUT sometimes I AM WITH other customers, and cant immediately answer the phone. I WILL of course return all calls, and answer all questions for you.
If you need to store it here while you make arrangements for shiping or pick up, thats fine. I can store it as long as you need, as long as the truck is paid for on schedule. Please follow the time frame specified.
If you dont follow the time frame specified, I may offer a second chance offer to other bidders.
THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING ON THE JEEP, JOE

Sunday Drive: Taking a gaze into the automotive crystal ball
Sun, Oct 22 2017Mankind has long been fascinated by the future. So it makes sense that this past week's top stories were all about cars, trucks, and SUVs that won't be hitting the market until the 2019 model year. And right at the top of the list is the Ram 1500. We've come to know Ram as the truck maker that styles its pickups with cues cribbed from big rigs, but that look has slowly evolved over time into something uniquely its own. The next Ram 1500 continues this trend, with a newly refined look that we can't wait to see in person. Up next is the 2019 Chevy Silverado. Pickup trucks have been, continue to be, and will remain the best-selling vehicles in America. And General Motors is a leader in the field, with two distinct offerings with which to entice buyers, one from the bread-and-butter Chevrolet brand and one wearing the slightly more upscale GMC badge. The Chevy looks to get LED lighting elements for 2019, which ought to keep the truck from looking dated when compared to the Ford F-150 and the previously mentioned Ram 1500. From there we move past pickup trucks and into SUVs and sedans. The 2019 Jeep Cherokee looks to get toned down a bit with its next refresh, and the '19 BMW 3 Series continues its slow evolutionary journey at the top of its aspirational sales pedestal. Finally, spy shots give way to official production reveals for the 2019 Audi A7 and Polestar 1. This pair of European luxury cars won't compete with one another – one is a rakish hatchback and the other a sports coupe – any further than for the eyeballs of our readers, but both proved popular enough to merit inclusion in our weekly roundup. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2019 Ram 1500 spotted without the classic crosshairs 2019 Chevy Silverado spied with new LED accents 2019 Jeep Cherokee reveals a much more normal face 2019 BMW 3 Series spy shots reveal production lights, new interior details 2019 Audi A7 revealed: More torque, refined styling Polestar 1 First Look | The 600 horsepower hybrid Scandinavian Green Audi BMW Chevrolet Jeep RAM Volvo Truck Hatchback SUV Future Vehicles Hybrid Luxury Performance Sedan sunday drive polestar 1
Georgia jury awards $150 million in Jeep fire case
Fri, Apr 3 2015FCA US continues to fight allegations that some Jeep Grand Cherokee and Liberty sport-utility vehicles are unsafe because of the possibility of fires in rear-end collisions. In one recently decided case, a jury in Georgia awarded $150 million in damages to a family whose child died in a blaze in 2012 in a 1999 Grand Cherokee. The jury believed that FCA acted with "reckless and wanton disregard," and didn't do enough to warn owners, according to Reuters. The automaker was found liable for 99 percent of the damages, and the remaining one percent was for the driver who rear-ended the family's SUV. In a statement from FCA US, the company said that it is considering an appeal. Under Georgia law, the automaker was allegedly unable to present a three-year investigation of rear-impact data to jurors. This was the same information the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration used to decide that the '99 Grand Cherokee "did not pose an unreasonable risk to motor vehicle safety." The original recall for the models covered 1.56 million examples of the 2002-2007 Liberty and 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee. With the fuel tank located between the rear axle and bumper, NHTSA and FCA eventually agreed to install a trailer hitch for extra protection. A further 1.2 million 1999-2004 Grand Cherokees owners received notice of a customer service action to have their vehicles inspected, though no hitch installed. Subsequent tests showed this remedy to be effective for impacts below 40 miles per hour. The automaker has maintained the SUVs met the applicable safety standards of the period when they were built. The company was chastised by NHTSA last year for low repair rates of the problem. FCA US LLC Statement Regarding Walden v Chrysler Group Verdict: April 2, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - FCA US is disappointed and will consider an appeal of this verdict. It is unfortunate that under Georgia Law the jury was prevented from taking into account extensive data submitted to NHTSA during a three year investigation, which included more than 20 years of rear impact accident data for tens of millions of vehicles. This and other information provided the basis for NHTSA's determination that the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee did not pose an unreasonable risk to motor vehicle safety.
Jeep Wrangler's shift to aluminum could see production leave Toledo
Mon, 06 Oct 2014The Jeep Wrangler may be a timeless design, but sooner or later, time will run out and Chrysler will have to replace it with a newer model more friendly towards the earth it's designed to traverse. That will, it seems, mean a shift to aluminum construction (whether just for the body or for the entire structure) - but what will that mean for the Wrangler's long-time home of Toledo, OH?
According to the latest pronouncements from Fiat Chrysler chief Sergio Marchionne, the shift to an aluminum Wrangler would likely mean moving production out of Toledo. "If the solution is aluminum," Marchionne told Automotive News, "then I think unfortunately Toledo is the wrong place, the wrong setup to try and build a Wrangler, because it requires a complete reconfiguring of the assets that would be cost-prohibitive."
Marchionne also indicated that, were Wrangler production to move elsewhere, it would find another line to take its place in Ohio. "One of the thing that we are dealing with now is what else we do with Toledo that fulfills our commitment to the city and to Ohio. I don't have a doubt that there will be zero impact on head count and employment levels and anything else." Jeep has built the Wrangler in Toledo since World War II, with the exception of six years starting in 1986 when it was built in Brampton, Ontario. The complex dates back to 1910 and currently produces the Wrangler and Cherokee. Past products have included the Wagoneer and Commanche as well as the Dodge Dakota and Nitro.
