2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

Up for sale is a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. It is very well optioned, and has the 5.7 L Hemi engine. The car has been well cared for and regularly maintained, and has no major defects anywhere on the vehicle. This car has been in the family since it was new, and it has never been hit or damaged in any way. This Jeep is in excellent condition.

Exterior

-The black paint has a great shine, and no paint work has ever been performed.

-The front bumper / valance has some very small scratches from road debris.

-There are no dents on the car, all of the panels are very straight.

-There is a scratch in front of the right tail light (about 10” long, very thin, and wouldn’t come out in a picture).

-All of the lights work.

-The plastic trim underneath the rear hatch is slightly faded from the sun

-The metal piece on the rear window has some paint worn off (it is not body paint, it is satin black. This wear is common due to the thin paint).

-The polished wheels have a great shine, and show no damage.

-The tires have plenty of tread left on them.

-The frame and underbody have no rust issues at all.

Interior

-The interior is two tone gray, with the seat centers being a darker gray.

-There are no tears or discoloration in the leather upholstery.

-The navigation system and radio work.

-The climate control works, as well as the seat heaters.

-The dash is free of cracks or warps.

-The carpet is clean, there is only minor wear around the pedals.

Drivetrain

-The 5.7 L Hemi V8 runs strong, and has only 82k miles.

Chrysler Recalls 350K Vehicles To Fix Ignition Switches

Chrysler is recalling nearly 350,000 cars and SUVs to fix ignition switches that could unexpectedly shut off the engines. The recall covers 2008 Jeep Commander and Grand Cherokee SUVs, Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger sedans, and Dodge Magnum wagons. All were built before May 12, 2008. Chrysler says the ignitions may not fully return to the "on" position after being started. The switches could move to "accessory" or "off." That could shut off the engine and knock out power-assisted steering and other features. Chrysler knows of one crash and no injuries from the problem. It's telling people to use the key alone in the ignition and confirm that switches have returned to "on" after starting their cars. Chrysler is investigating the cause. Jurassic Park made a big impact on these Jeep drivers

For a certain cohort of young folks, Jurassic Park is a touchstone film from their childhood. Not only did it play into practically every little boy's love of dinosaurs, the movie included some great action scenes and special effects that still hold up today. In its latest video, The Aficionauto takes a look the Jurassic Park Motor Pool, a California car club with over 40 fans who created replica vehicles from the iconic film.
The club is made up of an interesting cross-section of people. Many of them were Jeep Wrangler fans that already loved off-roading and Jurassic Park, and liked the idea of bringing them together. Like any close-knit club, it ends up being about community and people coming together to share their interests. It's quite a heartwarming video.
