LIKE NEW 2014 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO E 4WD

3571 Miles, Vehicle comes with remainder of factory 3 Year/36 Month Bumper to Bumper Warranty plus 5 Year/100,000 Powertrain Warranty.

Vehicle has no scratches, dents, dings.

This vehicle is basically brand new, but you won't be paying the STEALership retail price!  (I've already done that!)

I took a new job, transferred to a new area, and don't need this vehicle anymore, so here it is for sale.

Sorry about the glare in some of the photos, I'll try to replace those photos soon.....when the weather cooperates and before the sun starts going down when I get home from work.

Anyway, you won't be disappointed in this vehicle.  It's the V6 gasoline version and I've been getting 21-22 mpg on the highway running 80 mph.  Window sticker (which I still have and will go with the new buyer) lists highway mpg at 24 and city mpg at 17.  Comes with the new 8-speed automatic transmission.

Total MSRP on this vehicle was $34,980.

Kelly Blue Book shows private party price at $32,339.

KBB Trade-In value shows $30,085.

I'm selling for $29,900 which I believe (and hope you do too!) is a fair value.  I've taken the "new car hit" and drove it off the lot, so save yourself the $5000 plus sales tax and buy this (almost) new Jeep Grand Cherokee!

$500 Down Payment due within 2 days of auction close.  This can be via PayPal, check, or money order.  Remainder of balance due within 14 days of auction close in order to allow you to arrange financing (if needed) and make arrangements to pick up and/or inspect vehicle.  Buyer pays any fees associated with shipment of vehicle to him/her.  I'm willing to meet a reasonable distance from the Indianapolis area, just send me a message and I'll be happy to work with you.  If necessary, I can pick you up at the airport, no extra charge.  I'm easy to work with, just ask if you need something!

Let me know if you have any questions PRIOR to bidding and thanks for looking.

Jeep follows up Super Bowl spot with call to help the USO

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Once again, Chrysler had one of the most talked about Super Bowl commercials with its two-minute Whole Again Jeep spot, which was used to highlight its Operation SAFE Return program for US military personnel returning home from active duty. As part of this campaign, Jeep announced today that it will be donating up to $300,000 to the United Services Organizations (USO), and you can help.
Simply tweet using the #joinOSR hashtag on Twitter, visit the Yahoo! homepage or go to the Jeep Operation SAFE Return website, and Jeep will donate $1 to a fund that provides returning troops things like employment assistance and incentives to buy new vehicles. Jeep is also donating to this charity to the tune of $250 for each Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited (including the Freedom Edition model) and Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition model sold.

2014 Jeep Compass/Patriot sing their swan songs with a six-speed automatic

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

Unless the governor, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne, gives them a reprieve, the 2014 Jeep Compass and Patriot are expected to meet their makers sometime next year. Should they perish, it's a shame that it would happen just as they've shed the continuously variable transmission that was their major bugbear, and just as the Compass has gotten its best looks yet.
Both will roll with a proper six-speed automatic transmission, courtesy of PowerTech. Noise-resistant gears and tuning by Chrysler boffins should alleviate the unappealing sounds that were given off by the older CVT. Unless, that is, you choose to have either model equipped with Freedom Drive II; the serious off-road package, available on both baby Jeeps, will still come with the CVT. The base transmission on the entry-level Sport trim remains the five-speed manual.
Otherwise, it's minor changes for the Compass, set off by the new 18-inch wheel option, trim pieces around the car and a back-up camera. The Patriot gets seat-mounted airbags, but is carryover otherwise. With their expected demises perhaps a year away, not much has changed otherwise. Engine choices comprise the 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 158 horsepower and 141 pound-feet of torque or the 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 172 hp and 165 lb-ft.

Fiat/PSA's dominance in small vans hangs up EU's merger approval

Mon, Jun 8 2020

BRUSSELS — EU antitrust regulators are concerned about Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot / PSA's combined high market share in small vans and may require concessions to clear their $50 billion merger, people familiar with the matter said. The companies, which are seeking to create the world's fourth biggest carmaker, were told of the European Commission's concerns last week. If Fiat and PSA fail to dispel the European Commission's doubts in the next two days and subsequently decline to offer concessions by Wednesday, the deadline for doing so, the deal would face a four-month-long investigation. The EU competition enforcer, which has set a June 17 deadline for its preliminary review, declined to comment. Fiat was not immediately available for comment while PSA had no immediate comment. Hiving off overlapping businesses, usually a regulatory demand to ensure more competition, could prove tricky for the carmakers because of the technicalities. Fiat and PSA are looking to merge to help offset slowing demand and shoulder the cost of making cleaner vehicles to meet tougher emissions regulations. The deal puts under one roof the Italian carmaker's brands such as Fiat, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Maserati and the French company's Peugeot, Opel and DS.
