Mount Airy, Maryland, United States

LOW LOW MILES 7800.  ORIGINAL OWNER GARAGE KEPT NON SMOKER.  LIKE NEW. Pristine.  I believe it has all possible options.  This vehicle is all stock.  NO MODIFICATIONS.  Only been in 4 rain storms.   There is an appraisal by CarMax in photos.  The appraisal was done 11/4/2013 and was for $28000  I set the reserve above that to include a tax credit on trade in and ebay fees.   Some of the major options are dvd, rear camera, rear parking sensors, sunroof leather suede combo seating,  satellite  radio ready, hands free,  ac, and many more. 500 immediate deposit.  All zero feedback bidders must contact me via ebay messaging first.  One flaw not in the CarMax appraisal is a minor curb rash on right front wheel from fast food drive-through.   This is a near  flawless vehicle, nearby jeep dealer rated this a perfect 10.   Brakes are factory gloss black Brembo's multi piston front and back.   Extremely effective with very short take-up unlike other American vehicles.  Skid pad rating is higher than most cars.  Ride is more sports car than truck, (very firm). ACCELERATION YOU CAN FEEL THROUGH YOUR WHOLE BODY, 420 HP HEMI, THROUGH LARGE RATIO DIFFS (AWD ALL THE TIME).  Trans is a five speed with manual slap if wanted.  The trans case looks like a Mercedes sourced part.  Exhaust note, a little louder than normal.  In  my opinion is this vehicle is a large 5 passenger sports car with awd extreme ACCELERATION  performance,   YOU CAN TAKE YOUR WHOLE FAMILY AND EASLILY GET IN AND OUT OF( UNLIKE A CORVETTE OR VIPER THAT I HAVE TOO ROLE OUT OF)!  In the pictures floor mats a hard all weather vehicle specific.  The originals will be included 2 keys and Jeep nav dvd

Blake Anderson drives an over-the-top patriotic Jeep

Thu, Jan 15 2015

Comedian Blake Anderson is seeing growing success as one of the stars and co-creators of the Comedy Central show Workaholics. Not surprisingly, when you get your own TV show, there's a deep desire to celebrate with a big purchase, a car perhaps. Anderson did just that, but as opposed to plunking his money down on a Porsche or Mercedes-Benz, he took a much more patriotic route. Anderson described his ride as "an American Jeep" in an interview with Conan O'Brien, and he didn't mean that it was from the AMC years of the off-road brand's ownership. Instead, this one is as patriotic as they come thanks to a beautifully regal bald eagle covering the hood with the nation's flag as the background running up at least to the windshield. Hear Anderson's entire story of buying this red, white and blue off-roader in the video above.

Airbag fault on 1M recalled Jeeps getting second look from NHTSA [UPDATE]

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

UPDATE: Here is the statement we received from Chrysler regarding NHTSA's query: "Chrysler Group LLC advised the National Highway Traffic Administration of the six reports and, in accordance with the Company's long-standing practice, is cooperating fully with the resulting investigation. Customer safety is paramount at Chrysler Group. Customers who are concerned may call 1-800-853-1403."
It appears that Jeep's repairs for nearly one million Grand Cherokees from 2002-2004 and Liberty models from 2002-2003 might not be over yet. The vehicles were first recalled in November 2012 because the front airbags could suddenly deploy without being in an accident. Now, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is opening a recall query into them because of reports of inadvertent activation on some already corrected vehicles.
The original problem affected over 919,000 vehicles worldwide, including 744,822 in the US, and was caused by a degrading circuit in the wires that control the airbags. In some cases the airbag warning light would come on just before the premature activation, but in other cases it would just happen. The automaker installed an "in-line jumper harness with an integrated electrical filter" meant to eliminate the power spikes believed to be the cause.

Chrysler registers Trackhawk trademark

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

There may not be many ways to forecast what an automaker is planning for the future, but there are some. Trademark applications are one of them, and Chrysler has just applied with the US Patent and Trademark Office to protect the name "Trackhawk." The question is, what's it planning on using it for? We don't know for sure, but we can put together an educated guess or two. And one guess is that Jeep will use the name to replace the letters SRT on the performance version of the Grand Cherokee.
How do we figure, you ask? From a number of developments. For starters, the SRT division has been reintegrated into the Dodge brand. Those letters currently appear on only two vehicles from outside the Dodge lineup: one is the Grand Cherokee SRT, and the other is the Chrysler 300 SRT. We've heard ruminations (however unconfirmed) that the latter could be either discontinued or possibly relabeled, and if the same proves true of the GC, the Trackhawk name could serve as a on-road performance counterpart to the Trailhawk label applied to off-road versions of models like the Cherokee and Renegade.
Logical it may be, but it's hardly a foregone conclusion. The Trackhawk name could just as easily be used for a new concept (like the Trailhawk name was in 2007), for another kind of trim level or for something else entirely. In fact we don't even know for sure it'll be used by the Jeep brand specifically, or used at all for that matter. Automakers have been known, after all, to register names they don't end up using.
