This is a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the 4.7 L V8 Power Tech engine. The air conditioner blower very cold air. Heater works perfectly. Engine starts and runs very good. Normal average gas mileage is 17-18 in town and 20-22 on the highway depending on speed. Transmission is AWD and shifts as it should. 4WD works perfectly. Tires are like new and never taken off road and no flats. Full sized spare tire with alloy wheel same as the wheels on the car. We have owned the car since March of 2003 and have taken extremely good care of it. Small rust spots under the rear doors which is typical for Jeep Grand Cherokees. Front seats have normal wear for leather seats. Rear seats are nearly mint condition. Good luck bidding as this will make someone a very nice car for a reasonable price. I have set a very reasonable reserve price. Winning bidder to pay $500 using PayPal. Balance due in cash when you pick it up. Winning bidder is responsible for picking up vehicle. I will not ship it.

Freak accident during Jeep demonstration turns fatal
Mon, 20 May 2013A 20-year-old woman was killed in Edmonton, Canada on Satuday, reports CTV News, in a freak accident resulting from a rollover during a Jeep demonstration. As part of a fundraising enthusiast event called "Jeeps Go Topless," the driver of one Jeep Wrangler drove up and onto the top of the tire of another.
CTV reports that the owner of the topmost Jeep then switched the vehicle off, posed for pictures and then dismounted from his vehicle. His movement off of the Jeep apparently caused it to tip over, crushing a woman who was on top of an adjacent vehicle. Edmonton police are currently investigating more fully what caused the parking lot accident to occur. Scroll below to watch the CTV News video report about this tragic incident.
Fiat Chrysler posts record Q3 profit thanks to U.S. trucks and Jeep
Wed, Oct 28 2020MILAN — A rebound in car production in Fiat Chrysler on Wednesday reported record third-quarter earnings as production returned to nearly pre-pandemic levels. The Italian-American automaker, which is finalizing its full merger with French rival PSA Peugeot, reported a net profit in the three months ending Sept. 30 of $1.4 billion (1.2 billion euros). That compares with a loss of 179 million euros a year earlier. The carmaker reported adjusted earnings before tax and interest in North America of 2.5 billion euros. That offset deepening losses in Europe, Asia and at its Maserati luxury marquee. Latin America, the only other region to post a profit, saw it narrow by two-thirds to 46 million euros. “Our record results were driven by our teamÂ’s tremendous performance in North America,” CEO Mike Manley said in a statement. Overall, the carmaker said global earnings before tax and interest were a record 2.3 billion euros despite a 6% fall in revenues to 26 billion euros. Global shipments were down 3%, due largely to plant retooling in North American to produce the new Jeep Grand Wagoneer in the luxury SUV segment and the discontinuation of the Dodge Grand Caravan classic minivan. Fiat Chrysler announced earlier Wednesday that its merger with PSA Peugeot is on track to be finalized by the end of the first quarter of 2021, as planned. To meet regulatory concerns, the French carmaker is selling a small stake in a components maker to get below 40% ownership. AMC is long dead, but for its latest peek in the archives, MotorWeek winds back the clock to somewhat happier times. Take a look at the entire AMC lineup from 1983, including its models from Jeep and Renault. The Jeeps, and to a lesser extent, the AMC Eagle, enjoy a cult following today, but it's amazing how many of these other vehicles are now practically forgotten. Even the big debut in '83 of the Renault Alliance is largely ignored. Although with a ludicrous amount of body roll and a 55-horsepower 1.4-liter engine, it's probably rightly buried.
