1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.0l In. L6, 4wd, 150k Miles, No Reserve! on 2040-cars
Camillus, New York, United States
This Jeep has some cosmetic issues only. It runs like a champ and has been treated very well over the years. Some rust spots around fender areas and bottom of back hatch. A few small cosmetic issues on the interior (small fabric tear in ceiling, small cracks in leather on front door arm rests). Overall, it's in really great shape for a 1999! It has had regular oil changes, brake work, tire rotations, etc. BRAND NEW BATTERY in March 2014. Tires have only approximately 25,000 miles on them (rated for 60,000). New muffler, new brake line in fall 2013. Spare tire has never been used. Interior is very clean (leather seats in the front, cloth in back). Most of the miles on this vehicle are highway miles. Very reliable vehicle for Central NY winter weather. 4WD is fully functional. Power locks, windows, seats. Cruise control, great sound system, air conditioning, 12V power port, pull-out cover and cargo net for trunk area. Back seat folds up easily to make plenty of room for suitcases, moving, lumber, band equipment, camping, dogs, you name it! This Jeep has a lot of space and would make a great vehicle for a college student or family. Only cosmetic issues only. This has the Inline 6 engine in it and is very reliable! This Jeep has been babied over the years! **Sale is PICK-UP ONLY (no delivery)! Cash or cashier's checks only. Serious bids please. Must have 100% positive feedback to bid. Bid is starting at $1500 with NO RESERVE. **Note: Mileage will increase slightly as this vehicle is used for commute to and from work (~10-15 miles each way). If you have any questions, please contact me through eBay and I will respond as soon as possible (mainly in the evenings). |

2014 Jeep Cherokee
Thu, 19 Sep 2013The Cherokee Is Dead. Long Live The Cherokee.
There are three sentences that, for this reviewer, define what needs to be conveyed about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The first: it is very good.
Jeep spent 27 years building the Cherokee and its brand, from 1974 to 2001. Twelve years ago, the Cherokee nameplate rolled away into the distant hills and retirement, at least here in the NAFTA colonies, and it was replaced by a loaded word we knew as "Liberty."

Chrysler reports $166M net income for Q1, down $307M vs. 2012
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Preliminary first-quarter results from 2013 have been announced by Chrysler, and the company is reporting a net income of $166 million on revenue of $15.4 billion. Compared to this period last year, net income is down $307 million and revenue has dropped $1 billion.
Chrysler says that its quarter was negatively affected by the costs associated with launching its 2013 Ram Heavy Duty, 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and preparation for the return of the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee pictured above. The launches should provide a strong second half of 2013, says the automaker. "We remain on track to achieve our business targets, even as the first-quarter results were affected by an aggressive product launch schedule," said Chrysler Group LLC Chairman and CEO Sergio Marchionne.
On a positive note, the automaker says worldwide vehicle sales are up 8 percent from one year ago, a number pushed by a 12 percent bump in U.S. retail sales. In addition, domestic market share has risen slightly, up to 11.4 percent from 11.2 percent last year. Read more in the official statement below.
