1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2L Yep that's a V8 for any non-car people. Not the best looking but decent running. Rebuilt transmission 2 years ago. Have receipts. Newer platinum plugs and wires, newer fuel pump and water pump. Could use new front tires. It does have new front brake pads, calipers, rotors. Rear brakes are fairly new in last year. Interior is great! Drives fine! Just rough on the edges. Good farm, fishing, hunting truck! Never been stuck in snow! Got a different vehicle that's why we're selling it. Jeep lays out 5-year plan, including rebirth of Grand Wagoneer and new C-segment offering
Tue, 06 May 2014Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Machionne presented a five-year plan for the company brands this morning, with Jeep first up on a long day of presentation. Jeep's head honcho Michael Manley wasted no time in laying out what the foreseeable future will look like for what he calls the "lead global brand" of the company.
Big goals for the next half-decade will include expanding the lineup from five nameplates built in one country, to six nameplates build in six countries. That expansion of models will include both a three-row competitor, and, of course, a small vehicle to slot below Cherokee. The company is also seeking to add a whopping 1,300 dealers over the next few years, to sell all this new metal, and has an aggressive goal of doubling Jeep sales by the time 2018 rolls around.
As expected, that first salvo from the off-road brand will be the debut of the much ballyhooed Renegade small crossover in the third quarter of this year. Jeep has already designated that Renegade will get refreshed for the 2017 model year, as well.
New England Patriots player helps driver of rollover crash
Tue, Jan 20 2015Winning the AFC Championship game to guarantee a spot in the Super Bowl would be a pretty major accomplishment for most people in a day. However, just hours after the victory, New England Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork showed what he could do off the field, when he helped save a woman from an overturned car. Though, the player remained modest about what happened. Wilfork and his wife were driving home late at night when they spotted a flipped Jeep near Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. Surveillance video showed Wilfork pulling over and running to the vehicle's aid to be among the first on the scene. Finding a woman trapped inside, Wilfork told her, "Don't panic," and according to Massachusetts State Police, the 325-pound player simply reached his arm into the vehicle and lifted the woman out to save her. She was later charged with driving under the influence. Hear Wilfork's description of what happened in the video above.
