You are looking at my 1981 Jeep CJ7 that I have owned for the past 17 years and it has never left me stranded. This Jeep is in good, but not show condition and it runs great. It has a touch of rust beginning on the hood and drivers side quarter panel, but otherwise it is in great condition. I had the interior, roll bar and wheel wells Rhino lined. As pictured there is an 8,000 lb Warn winch with the accessory bag. It also comes with an additional set of 5 wheels and BF Goodrich 33X12.50 R15LT all terrain tires. The mud tires currently on the Jeep are in good shape with a lot of tread still left. It comes with a tow bar and is wired for towing. It also comes with a light bar that attaches to the windshield. The rear differential is locked to provide positive traction. It comes with a soft top and doors that could use new stitching around the zippers. It still has, with few exceptions; all of it’s original parts. I have added a twin battery rack and charging system to charge both batteries. I also will include a gun rack that mounts where the center console currently sits, a feeder that has a hitch mount so that it clears the spare tire with a 12 V motor and various spare parts Jeep parts I have accumulated over the last 17 years. The carburetor, gas tank and fuel lines were recently replaced due to rust. I used the vehicle for hunting in Mexico and due to the violence down there we haven’t hunted there in 4 years. I hate to see it go, but I’ve just been storing it in my garage for the past 4 years Just a few weeks back, we reported on the theft of an Audi RS5 by a pair of creative thieves who managed to swipe the car's keys when the salesperson stepped away from their desk. Now, a Florida dealership is missing a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 after some crooks switched the Jeep's keys with an identical, non-functioning set. Challengers come and challengers go, but the Jeep Wrangler continues to push forward even after vehicles like the Toyota FJ Cruiser and the entire Hummer brand have been shut down. Now GMC reportedly wants to take a stab at the quintessential Jeep, as well. It's generally accepted that the Jeep Cherokee was the first real midsize sport utility vehicle to make headway into the hearts, minds and driveways of American consumers in 1984. While that SUV was aimed at the mainstream, it could be argued that the vehicle that made the idea of a luxury SUV possible was the seminal Jeep Grand Wagoneer. We've been hearing rumblings of a revived Grand Wagoneer for years, but if a report from Automotive News is accurate (despite the fact that it seemingly contradicts an earlier report from the same outlet), the wait may nearly be over. Jeep plans to show off its new Grand Wagoneer at the upcoming dealer show in Las Vegas in August, and while that doesn't give any real indication of when such a vehicle may make it into the hands of consumers, such news probably at least means the automaker has a finalized design. While we're mostly over retro-inspired cars, we'll happily cast a vote toward a three-row Grand Wagoneer with faux woodie body sides, if anyone cares to tally it... Key-swapping thieves steal Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT from FL dealer
Sat, 09 Nov 2013
According to the report from local NBC affiliate WPTV, the men went in and spoke to a dealer about the Jeep. They walked outside, took a look at it, started it up and in the process managed to switch out the fobs. After doing their time with the salesperson, the thieves walked back out to the car, got in and drove away.
"I mean obviously, the way it was done, I think that they were professionals and they knew what they were doing," said Arrigo Jeep General Manager Joe Tufo. "The fact that they did it in broad daylight and switched the key fob and it was like it was nothing. That's what makes it unique," he added.GMC boss wants a Jeep Wrangler rival
Wed, 12 Nov 2014
The news comes directly from Buick-GMC vice president Duncan Aldred, speaking with our compatriots over at Edmunds. Although Aldred said there are no plans currently on the table to expand GMC's lineup beyond the current range, "there is plenty of room everywhere in the hierarchy."
That could include a rival to the Wrangler, as well as a flagship luxury SUV positioned above the current Yukon Denali (pictured above). Just when (or for that matter, if) such models might come into fruition remains a big question mark, but it's certainly interesting to see what GM's dedicated truck brand has on the drawing board.Jeep will show new Grand Wagoneer to dealers this summer
