This is a 76 Jeep CJ7 Built by a Jeep shop in TX. I bought this Jeep because I always loved the CJ7. My plan was to keep it forever but life has changed and I'm unable to keep it. The Jeep is a 76 frame and drive train with a 84 body. The Jeep was totally redone with almost all new parts. There was almost $20,000 spent building this Jeep. A built AMC 401 V-8 is about $5,000 alone.
The only reason I'm selling the CJ is I have another jeep and I bought a side-by-side.
The Jeep has 4300 mi since being built.

The motor is a built AMC 401 V-8 with a TF- 727 3 speed automatic behind it. Edelbrock carb, intake, and valve covers are mounted on the motor along with true duel Cherry Bomb exhaust. The transfer case is a Dana 300. This set-up is very strong and works very well. The front Dana 30 has disk brake and a Spartin locker. The rear axle is an AMC 20 with one-piece axles. Bushwhacker fender flairs cover 5 NEW 35x12.5x15 Procomp Mud Terrain. The suspension is a Rough Country 4-in lift with sway-bar disconnects. The body is in great shape (for an 84) with a 2-in body lift. Front seats are Corbeau RS with original fold and tumble rear seat. There is a Bikni top and half doors as seen in pics and also a full soft top with soft doors and hard top with hard doors. Rock hard front bumper holds a Superwinch EPI 9.0 9000 LB with 120 ft of new cable. Rear bumper has swing out tire carrier with full size spare and 2 in receiver with trailer light hook ups.  This Jeep does drive down the Hwy at 70 mph without a problem.
Email me if you would like all the Jeep info.

There is also front tow bar shackles with a Blue Ox tow bar.
New windshield frame and seal go with it.

The bad
There is a dent in the front passenger fender.
A few small spots of surface rust.
The hard top hatch has rust and doors are mix-matched.

If parked for awhile there are a couple drops of trany fluid under it.

Hybrid and Electric Jeeps, Fiats, and Alfa Romeos to be built in Poland

Sun, Jan 3 2021

WARSAW - Fiat Chrysler will invest more than $200 million in its plant in Tychy in Poland, where new hybrid and electric Jeep, Fiat and Alfa Romeo models will be built, Deputy Prime Minister Jaroslaw Gowin said on Tuesday. The investment comes as a boost to emerging Europe's largest economy, which is hoping a switch to electric vehicles can help its auto sector catch up with regional rivals including the Czech Republic and Slovakia. "Modern, hybrid and electric cars of the Jeep, Fiat and Alfa Romeo brands will start to leave the factory in Tychy in 2022," Gowin wrote on Twitter. Gowin said there could be further investment in the plant in future but gave no details. Fiat Chrysler, which is planning a $38 billion merger with French rival PSA to create the world's No.4 carmaker, said in a statement that early preparations for the expansion and modernization of the plant started in late 2020. The plant in Poland's industrial southern region of Silesia is one of the company's largest and currently employs around 2,500 people. Fiat Chrysler confirmed that new hybrid and electric Jeep, Fiat and Alfa Romeo models would be built in Tychy. It said the aim was to start mass production of the first of the three new passenger car models for the group's brands in the second half of 2022. Under a 2018-2022 plan, FCA pledged to invest 9 billion euros in electrification as part of investment plans totaling 45 billion euros. We test the latest Easter Jeep Safari off roaders in Moab

Sat, Mar 31 2018

The Easter Jeep Safari began as a play for tourism: in 1967 the Moab Chamber of Commerce invited "the Jeeping community" to ride a single trail on the Saturday before Easter. The attendees were mostly members and friends of the Chamber of Commerce. Now, 52 years later, the nine-day Safari takes place on more than 40 trails and lures thousands of Jeepers, who put on one of the biggest and best modified Jeep shows in the world. Cue the designers at Jeep and Mopar, who mastermind new ideas every year for what a modified Jeep could look like, with inspiration from the experiences they have and the mods they see at the Safari. We flew to Moab to drive the seven newest concepts, and start the recap with the disappointments: The B-Ute and the 4-Speed, but only because we couldn't drive them. Before the day had properly begun, those two designer treats had tapped out. The Renegade – internally codenamed B Utility, hence the "B-Ute" name – always feels like The Little Engine that Could when placed next to its halo Wrangler brother. In addition to the cosmetic changes, designers put the arcane caption "Lt. Jenkins" above "FWD1337" (explanations of those two memes here and here). The B-Ute would have been nice to drive if for no other reason than shouting "Leeeroy Jenkins" all around the course. View 16 Photos We rued missing out on the 4-Speed. The blue wonder is the third of a conceptual trio called "The Lightweights," focused on nimble trail handling provided by weight savings. The first of the Lightweights, the 2011 Pork Chop concept, cut 900 pounds from a standard Wrangler Sport. The 2013 Stitch concept lopped 1,100 pounds. The 4 Speed omits 900 pounds. Jeep brought both earlier concepts, and they were revelations. The Stitch was a throwback to stripped-out Dukes-of-Hazard-style Jeep romping. Round vents at the edges of the instrument panel act as side mirrors, Fiat Abarth seats grip occupants, the lemon-hued bikini top sewn from a transparent welding curtain bathes the cockpit in yellow light. Daisy Duke drove a 1980 CJ-7 that had 87 horsepower to move 2,700 pounds. The Stitch weighs about 3,200 pounds, but gets 290 hp. The Stitch skimmed over rocks and floated over sand, so light on its feet that Jeep lead designer Mark Allen told us the 35-inch Mickey Thompson MTZ tires were inflated to a mere 3 psi. The 4-Speed concept's pretty close to the Stitch weight thanks to carbon bits and lighter four-cylinder engine.
