This is a very solid and clean quality original shape Jeep.  This 1984 CJ7 is a Laredo edition which was the highest optioned trim line available on CJs.  It features chrome bumpers, chrome wheels, chrome grill, chrome mirrors, tachometer, clock, tilt steering, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, leather wrapped steering wheel and grab bar and of course it has the unique leather like seats.

It has been well cared for over the years and its original paint although showing its age with a few cracks and imperfections, it still looks very presentable as you can see in the pictures. This Jeep has classic brown exterior with brown Laredo seats interior.  It has been gone through and everything works on it as it should.

I have not done anything to the body or interior.  I really like its pure and dry Nevada condition which protected its body and under-carriage as you could see in the pictures.  Since I purchased it about a year ago, I only concentrated on the mechanical side because I couldn't find anything else wrong with it and I liked its original shape.

I spent over $5000 on bringing this Jeep to a fully tuned up and reliable mechanical condition.  It starts, drives, brakes and shifts gears perfectly!!  This Jeep has the factory combination of 258 cu in (4.2L) AMC I6 Engine and Borg Warner T-5 Transmission (5-speed with a Dana 300 Transfer Case).  It has great tire treads as you can see.

I am now buying a 4 door brand new Jeep Wrangler 10th Anniversary Rubicon (fits better for my 3 kids) and so this and other old toys must go to make room and pay for the new one.  The panels on this Jeep still have the factory welding.  This Jeep is as authentic as they come!  This CJ7 can be enjoyed and driven as is.  It is rarely driven on sunny Sundays and is parked in a temperature controlled garage.  It also comes with a car cover.

This is a NO RESERVE auction.  I hold a clear title in hand for this Jeep.  Receipts and records of all the parts and service work done on this Jeep come with it.  I require $500 deposit within 48 hours of the auction ending.  Full payment is required within 7 days of auction ending.  Please send me your questions if you have any.  Thank you.

Texas student drives Barbie Jeep to school after DWI

Fri, Sep 4 2015

A Texas college student who lost her license when she was charged with a DWI this spring found a creative way of getting around campus. Tara Monroe, 20, is a student at the University of Texas at Austin. She had her driver's license automatically suspended when she refused a breathalyzer test after leaving a Waka Flocka concert on March 4. He dad took her car away and left her with a bike. But that just wasn't classy enough for Monroe. "Riding a bike around campus sucks," she told MySA.com. "Like really sucks." She searched Craigslist to find an alternative and settled on a bright pink Fisher-Price Barbie Jeep Power Wheel toy to help lug her stuff around campus. She named it after the original owner, a little girl named Charlene. The unorthodox ride has turned Monroe into a minor celebrity. Pictures of her slowly making her way around campus in the toy car have been popping up on social media. "This is the best way I could have gotten my 15 minutes of fame," she said. "Basically, it was the best decision I've made in college, yet..." The Barbie Jeep has a 12-volt battery and only goes about five miles per hour. Monroe says she loves the attention she is getting from her immature hijinks. Inexperienced Jeep driver buries his Wrangler at sea

Mon, May 16 2016

There's an old maxim in off-roading that states, "Four-wheel drive doesn't keep you from getting stuck, it just gets you stuck in worse places." The truth of this statement was perfectly illustrated recently in a YouTube video of a Jeep Wrangler digging its own grave at the beach. On May 11, a YouTuber named Dan M uploaded a video he titled, "Drunk guy doesn't know how to off-road and ruins nice Jeep." The video, shot at dusk on a rocky looking beach, shows a blue Wrangler driving out into the surf without a care in the world. Dan, providing commentary along with an unseen female companion, was impressed with the Jeep driver's dash at first. "Wow, he must do that a lot because he ain't scared of getting stuck or anything," said Dan. As the Wrangler got deeper into the water, the Dan's friend expressed her doubts that the Jeep driver would make it out, especially when the Jeep got snagged on a little spit of sand sticking out into the water. Dan wasn't worried, however. "No, he'll manage to get out of there, he'll make it out of there. He'll back out and get out," he said. Dan's confidence in the Jeep driver was sadly misplaced, unfortunately. The driver managed to get the Jeep stuck on the sand bar then made the rookiest of rookie mistakes–he just gunned it. "Oh man, he's done! He's done!" yelled Dan as the Jeep driver proceeded to dig a huge hole in the sand that sunk the Wrangler up to its frame just as the tide started coming in. With that kind of dunking, especially in salt water, that Wrangler was probably a total loss, much like the Grand Cherokee that got washed downriver last week somewhere in Europe.
