This is a rare Jeep J10 HONCHO stepside 4x4 pickup. It was last on the road in 1989. My dad parked it in the barn and started driving a newer vehicle until he passed away. The mileage is 77048, which I believe is the actual mileage. As far as I know it has never been in an accident, because if so, it would have been a topic of conversation in the family. It is being sold for parts or possibly restoration. There is some rust in places as shown in the photos. The rear fenders need reattaching. The interior needs carpeting, seat covers and a headliner. The dash and gauges are in pretty good condition. It has not been started since it was put away, and I doubt anything was done to the motor for storage. Assume it is seized, because I do not know one way or the other. The critters chewed the distributor wiring, but overall, everything looks like it is place. The wheels roll, but the brake pedal will not depress. The locking hubs turn freely. The automatic transmission will shift into neutral all gears and back to park. I have not seen this model on the road or at any local show, so I suspect it is rare. Our Jeep experts on this site will know about this vehicle than I do. The photos show the overall condition and what may be usable original parts. There has been no modifications to the vehicle. It comes with a brush guard that has never been installed, but will need painting. This may be just what you have been looking for. You will have to make arrangements for pickup.

Forza Horizon 3 adds Ford Police Interceptor, Jeep CJ5
Tue, Oct 4 2016We're only a few weeks past the debut of Forza Horizon 3, and already the folks at Turn 10 are introducing the first of six car packs for the open-world driving game. Focused heavily on performance, there are still a few, um, oddballs, including one we're sure Forza's livery customizers will have a blast with. The Smoking Tire Car Pack brings seven new vehicles to FH3, with the Aston Martin Vulcan, Pagani Huayra BC, GTA Spano, Lotus 340R, and BMW M2 repping traditional performance vehicles. As per usual, FH3 renders each car beautifully and promises a solid approximation of real-world performance – even if you do ditch the roads and opt to rampage through the Australian countryside. While performance is good, the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and the Jeep CJ5 Renegade bring an off-beat vibe to this particular pack. We aren't certain, but this might be the first time the Police Interceptor appears in a blockbuster driving game. While we expect plenty of police car liveries for the Crown Vic, Forza's rabid community of tuners and customizers are sure to do much more with it. As for the CJ5, is there a better vehicle for tooling about Australia? Yeah, we didn't think so. The Smoking Tire Car Pack is available for free as part of the Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition or Car Pass program. Commitment-phobes can also download this single vehicle pack for $7. Refreshed Chrysler 300 SRT won't be sold in NA
Mon, 20 Oct 2014It looks like it might be time to bid farewell to the V8 rumble from the Chrysler 300 SRT - at least if you live in North America. The reported change comes as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles reshuffles its ranks with the Dodge brand, re-absorbing SRT and building its muscular reputation with the Challenger and Charger Hellcat models. Meanwhile, Chrysler is taking a more mainstream approach, and that likely means the end of overt high-performance models from the division for now.
According to Automotive News, the 300 SRT will be discontinued in the US for 2015, but it won't be totally dead. Some right-hand drive markets will still get the brawny V8 sedan next year, a distinction that goes a long way toward explaining some spy shots we've seen recently.
The 300 SRT's North American demise probably shouldn't come as a total shock. In FCA's five-year plan, it says that the 300 is destined for a refresh to be unveiled later this year, presumably at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. There's no mention of the SRT model in the document, though, which seems to signal its end.
