You are bidding on a Great un-restored, un-lifted, un-molested, 1977 Jeep CJ 5 that has been a daily driver. This Jeep is good and solid with very few blemishes. The complete Drivetrain was redone in the last 4 years. The motor is strong, Transmission has is tight with no grinding and popping out of gear as well as the clutch. The transfer case goes in and out smoothly and has superwinch lockout hubs replacing the stock Jeep hubs. All lighting, wiring, and gauges redone interior and exterior including blinkers. The emergency brake works properly. The Jeep has Factory Tilt Column and Power Steering and Disc brakes. The front end is tight and does not track in the road like most CJ's. My wife drives it regularly. The Jeep has a nice set of heavy duty bumpers front and rear with a nice Warn 8000lb winch and on the rear a late model style receiver hitch. New windshield and rubber gasket installed. Nice softop in good shape along with bikini top. Tires are 60% all-terrains. Seats are in good shape with just a little age cracking on passenger seat. The Jeep was painted about 4 years and has minor blemishes in very small areas. The inside of the tub has been sprayed with Linex bed liner along with the roll-bar. Nice CD player and speakers added. Heater,Defrost, and fan working properly. This is a great solid little Jeep that has not been off-roaded and lifted and abused over the years. It isn't restored and absolutely perfect, but it is fully functional and runs, looks, and drives as good as any. You can drive this Jeep home!! If you have any questions at all please call 662-721-5009.

eBay Find of the Day: 1977 Jeep J20 time capsule
Tue, 08 Jan 2013Is it just us or has eBay really become, of late, a surprising time capsule of older, barely used automobiles? We've had the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT with 83 miles, the 2004 Ferrari Enzo with 175 miles, the 1987 Shelby Lancer with 22 miles, the 1989 Shelby Dakota with 23 miles - none of those four cars ever even registered - and the 1975 Cosworth Vega with 191 miles. You can add to that list a 1977 Jeep J20 - the kind of Jeep that enthusiasts point to when they beg the brand to make another pickup truck.
Listed on eBay by Masterpiece Classic Cars in Whiteland, Indiana, the Brandywine and Alpine White truck has used its 360-cubic-inch V8 paired with a three-speed automatic to go just 3,940 documented miles. Not surprisingly, it's listed in excellent condition and the images appear to bear that out. The three-quarter-ton pickup comes with its original manual and pamphlets, the Quadra-Track four-wheel drive probably just as ready to tackle the terrain as it was 36 years ago. If only it came with some John Denver to play in that AM/FM/8-Track stereo...
At the time of writing it hasn't garnered a single offer or bid, probably due to the above-top-dollar Buy It Now price of $34,900. Still, since this is likely the closest you'll get to a Jeep pickup for some time, we'd recommend admiring it in the gallery of photos above.
Marchionne defends FCA recalls, says Wrangler won't be all-aluminum
Fri, May 22 2015FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne recently received the 2015 Industry Leadership Award from the SAE Foundation. While speaking with the press after the event, the boss discussed his thoughts about some key issues regarding the company's future. One of the big regulatory issues facing FCA at the moment is the upcoming public hearing by the National Highway Traffic Safety into the automaker's handling of 20 recalls. Marchionne has no intention of testifying there, according to The Detroit News. The CEO also thinks that the government regulator is becoming much more aggressive in how it handles safety campaigns, but the Feds aren't necessarily doing a very good job of communicating that. "We need to work with the agency in a very cooperative and open way to make sure that we can meet their requirements for their new stance," he said, according to the newspaper. "We have no option but to comply with their requirements and we will. I have nothing to hide in this process. I just want clear rules." Marchionne also dropped the news that the company has changed its mind about making the next Jeep Wrangler totally from aluminum. "Because of the difference in cost, not just the new material but the actual assembly process, I think we can do almost as well without doing it all-aluminum," he said to The Detroit News. This seemingly opens the door for the model to remain in production in Toledo, OH, but only just a crack. Marchionne says that the new Wrangler would still use a large amount of aluminum, and there are "at least" two sites in contention for the assembly. The company doesn't have too long to make a decision because the model reportedly launches in 2017.
Chrysler resolves recall issue with NHTSA, will inspect, upgrade affected Jeeps
Tue, 18 Jun 2013Chrysler made big news earlier in the month by refusing a recall request from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the 1993-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty. Last week, NHTSA boss David Strickland countered by defending his agency's request for the recall of 2.7 million Jeep SUVs. Today marked the deadline for Chrysler to formally respond to NHTSA, and it seems that both parties have met in the middle with Chrysler inspecting and upgrading some of the affected vehicles without using the word "recall," which would constitute the admission of a defect; instead, Chrysler said that it is conducting a "voluntary campaign."
At issue on these vehicles is the positioning of the fuel tank behind the rear axle that could get damaged during a rear-end collision. NHTSA has stated that at least 51 people have been killed in rear-end collisions involving these Jeeps after the vehicles caught fire, to which Chrysler countered by pointing out that both models "met and exceeded" the requirements for fuel-system integrity.
As a compromise on the situation, Chrysler says that it will inspect all pre-2004 Grand Cherokees and pre-2007 Liberty models and, "if necessary, provide an upgrade to the rear structure of the vehicle." According to Automotive News, this upgrade will consist of adding a trailer hitch that will presumably better protect the rear-mounted gas tank. Vehicles already equipped with a factory or Mopar hitch will not be modified. Chrysler's official statement on the matter is posted below, but no additional information has been released, such as when the campaign will begin and how many vehicles could be affected.
