1967 Jeep Cj5 A Still Using Barn Find on 2040-cars
Byron Center, Michigan, United States
1967 Jeep CJ5 (a) older restoration, but in great condition. Fiberglass tub and fenders (steel hood and grille) Buick 225 V-6 that runs great. Borg Warner T-86 3 spd manual trans and Dana 18 transfer case. Jeep was just being used to plow snow, same owner since 2004. Plow has been removed and is not included with this Jeep.. Metal body has been replaced with fiberglass and is good shape. It does have a few spider cracks in the gel-coat, but no heavy damage. It is a dull tan color and has some of the fake bullet hole stickers on it (they are not blemishes) Frame is great-no heavy rust, just surface. There is a crack at the very front where the front bumper mounts, but is not structural and will be vey ez to repair. She starts and runs and stops good has minimal oil leaks (even for a Jeep). The headers are rusted out, but it will come with a brand new set. Bestop soft top in good shape along with bestop seat covers on the front seats. Tires are 235/75/15 and are good. The chrome rims are rusted. In my opinion it is good to go with minimal work, or a great candidate for an ez restore. Feel free to call 616-293-9605 located in SW Michigan. I can send more pics upon request |

First Jeepster prototype spotted with final, boxy form
Thu, 23 Jan 2014The long-awaited baby Jeep is getting closer to production, as evidenced by these spy photos. Previously, the only images of the so-called Jeepster saw it wearing a Fiat 500L body (see below), while this new batch of photos show hefty amounts of camouflage. How is that better? Well, it's very likely there's a production body hiding under all that cladding.
While picking out styling details is virtually impossible thanks to all the camo, as our spies point out, this gives us a very sound idea of the Jeepster's final size. It's small, although we'd argue that it's only slightly smaller than the current Jeep Patriot, based on the images of the newest Jeep sitting in front of an Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
As we reported previously, this little bambino will be built on a Fiat platform, but the styling should be uniquely Jeep - likely to include a somewhat vertical seven-slat grille and round headlights. We can expect to see a production Jeepster, if that ends up being the actual name (Latitude has been rumored, although as that's traditionally a trim level, we imagine there'd be some confusion), when it debuts at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
FCA CEO Mike Manley will run Americas for Stellantis after PSA merger
Sun, Dec 20 2020DETROIT — Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley will run operations in the Americas when his company merges with FranceÂ’s PSA Peugeot early next year. FCA Chairman John Elkann announced ManleyÂ’s new post on Friday in a letter to employees. ManleyÂ’s role in the merged company had been a mystery. PSA CEO Carlos Tavares will run the overall company, to be named Stellantis. Shareholders of both companies will vote on the merger Jan. 4 to seal the deal creating the worldÂ’s fourth-largest automaker. The merger is expected to be completed by the end of March. PSA will get six seats on the new companyÂ’s 11-member board, which will be chaired by Elkann. The Americas, especially the U.S., are key to the new companyÂ’s success. Fiat ChryslerÂ’s Jeep and Ram brands are highly profitable, and Tavares has long wanted to sell PSA vehicles in the U.S. Manley has been the Italian-American automakerÂ’s CEO for 2 1/2 years, taking over when Sergio Marchionne died in 2018. Stellantis will have the capacity to produce 8.7 million cars a year, just behind Volkswagen, the Renault-Nissan alliance and Toyota. 2014 Jeep Cherokee flaunts its new contemporary curves
Wed, 27 Mar 2013
Only slightly more than one month ago, undisguised (and less-than-flattering) shots of the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee were leaked online. Later that day, in an effort to suppress the uprising, Jeep countered with its own official photography offering us much clearer front and three-quarter views. We've been left to digest those pictures for weeks.
Now, mere hours before the fabric comes sliding off its newest mid-size sport-utility at its live reveal at the New York Auto Show, Jeep has released dozens of new images showing all four corners, plus a few interior shots, of its new Cherokee.
