Lifted 2000 Jeep Cherokee Xj Sport Utility 4-door 4.0l I6 4x4 Rock Crawler Clean on 2040-cars
Weldon, California, United States
2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ Sport Please read everything, Text or Call (760)-299-3171 with any additional questions! I
have put well over 15 Thousand dollars in extras and upgrades, along with
countless hours of work into this Jeep. I am obviously not expecting to get even close to the money invested into it back. If you know anything about Jeeps and how much it costs to do this kind of work you will agree this is a great deal for you, and not so good for me. EVERYTHING WORKS, IT NEEDS NOTHING! Runs and drives
flawless. Super Clean inside and out. A/C Blows cold, has a great sound system (new), Engine runs strong, Automatic transmission
shifts smoothly, 4x4 works great. It is the perfect daily driver and weekend warrior. It will take you anywhere you want to go! This is my
daily driver, 95% of the miles are highway miles. I get 17-19 mpg on the highway, city I get about 12-15 mpg all depending on my driving. It is Adult driven and very, very well
maintained. The oil was changed every 3,000 miles with Full Synthetic oil and a new Mopar oil filter. Air
Filter changed/cleaned at every oil change. The Transmission fluid, Transfer
Case fluid, Differential Fluid and Radiator
fluid was changed every 10,000-15,000 miles. A complete tune-up was just performed that included new Oil/Filter, Spark Plugs, radiator flush, Transmission fluid & Filter, Transfer Case fluid, and both Differential fluids, all which are synthetic oils. It just passed safety and emissions/smog check with no problems at all! TONS of NEW parts have been installed on this Jeep within the last 2,000 miles. It was also just detailed, carpets shampooed, seats cleaned, paint buffed, every little thing was scrubbed down, and it looks great inside and out.
Here are some features/upgrades I can think of (Please read it all!):
This
Jeep has tons of extras and upgrades and I know I'm missing some. This Jeep is
in very good condition and Super Clean! This is a 15 year old vehicle and It
has been used for what it was built for and does have some minor scratches
dents and other imperfections, but nothing major. The paint is in pretty good
shape. This Jeep was built to not break, and it doesn't. It performs
ridiculously well off road and has been a great daily driver. It looks and runs
Excellent! This Jeep is definitely a huge head turner, always getting complimented. It is priced fairly, you
won't find another Jeep like this for the price, the upgrades alone are worth far
more then what I am asking. *The rock sliders are currently uninstalled to be beefed up some, sanded and re-painted. If I can find time to put them back on before the Jeep sells I will. They are an easy install, they bolt on to the uni-body and are very sturdy.* I am selling for a few reasons: a new baby, saving for a down payment on a house, and I have 2 Jeeps and can't afford to keep both. It will be sad to see it go! I have the CLEAN TITLE in Hand, and in my name. $11,950 Or Best Offer Need to sell, No reasonable offer will be turned down! Text or Call (760) 299-3171 (Text is best) or send me an email. I am willing to work with you on shipping! If I don't answer leave a message and I will get back to you. ?????PICTURES????? 2015 Jeep Renegade First Drive [w/video]
Fri, Jan 23 2015Would it surprise you to hear that a strong, vocal and loyal owner base can sometimes be a hindrance to automakers? Of course, no brand would ever admit such a thing. And sure, on the surface, you might think that having people passionately champion a brand would provide nothing but perks. As we've seen over the years, though, there are plenty of times when that's not the case. Jeep has most recently fought this battle following the arrival of the new Cherokee, where two-tracking purists and rock-crawling enthusiasts bemoaned the nameplate's dip into Crossoverdom. Now, with its latest vehicle, the off-road brand is trying to keep this vocal minority happy (or at least quiet) while building a crossover that has general-purpose appeal to consumers in an increasingly crowded and important small CUV market. This balancing act has produced the 2015 Renegade, a vehicle that, following our testing in sunny San Jose, CA, we're quite confident will appeal to both brand loyalists and the uninitiated, alike. Before we dig into the meat of our First Drive, if you're here looking for a review of the Renegade Trailhawk and its off-road abilities, you're out of luck. We did drive it, both on- and off-road, and will be publishing a feature on it in the very near future. But for now, we're focusing on the volume model, the Renegade Latitude. Instead of the off-roader-meets-E.T. appearance of the Cherokee that's polarized so many, Jeep has dipped its brush in the tin marked "Heritage," fitting a simple seven-slat grille, historically appropriate round headlights and square taillights. In between all that, there are flared trapezoidal wheel arches, like you'd get on a classic CJ or MB, tall windows to let in plenty of light and short overhangs. It's not the broader strokes that contribute to the Renegade's adorably busy exterior, so much as the myriad of smaller styling details that visually attach this new model to Jeeps of the past. The hood is long and mostly flat, forcibly recalling the bonnet of the original Willys MBs and Ford GPWs that US troops used to strategize, sermonize and operate on during World War II. But rather than make it flush with the grille, it bleeds over the headlights, like the front of an infantryman's helmet. The X shape found throughout the car is reminiscent of military-style jerry cans, while the mirrors are door-mounted, like Jeeps of old. The roof, meanwhile, can be blacked-out, further linking the Renegade to its big brother, the Wrangler.
FCA recalling 63k Jeeps, Vipers and Ram ProMaster City vans
Thu, Apr 23 2015Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has announced a pair of recalls cover nearly 63,000 vehicles. The bigger of the two actions covers manual-transmission-equipped vehicles from 2006, including the Jeep Liberty and Wrangler, as well as the Dodge Viper. FCA engineers uncovered that the clutch ignition interlock switches use a kind of wire that was part of a previous recall campaign. Because of this, the company said that affected vehicles may not start, although in rare cases, "if recommended starting procedures are not followed," the affected vehicles may lurch forward after turning the key. Those recommended starting procedures "include activating the parking brake, placing the shift lever in neutral and pressing the clutch pedal before turning the vehicle's ignition key." Recall number two affects the company's 2015 Ram ProMaster City cargo and passenger vans. Owners will need to report to dealers to have a piece of tape removed from the side-curtain airbags. The tape is added during assembly and in some cases, may not have been removed. That could prevent the airbags from deploying in the event of a crash. Just under 59,000 vehicles are included in the first recall, including 43,874 in the United States, 11,309 outside of North America, 2,944 in Canada and 706 in Mexico. The ProMaster City recall includes just over 3,900 vehicles. FCA claims it's unaware of any injuries, fatalities or accidents related to either recall and will perform repairs free of charge. Scroll down for the official press release on both campaigns. Related Video: Statement: Clutch Ignition Interlock Switch April 23, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - FCA US LLC is launching a voluntary recall of an estimated 43,874 older-model U.S.-market cars and SUVs equipped with manual transmissions. The Company will replace their clutch ignition interlock switches at no charge to customers. The action follows an investigation by FCA US engineers that discovered these vehicles are equipped with switches that contain a certain type of wire implicated in a previous campaign. The wire, which was temporarily substituted by a supplier for the specified material, may break. As a result, the vehicles may not start, and in rare cases – if recommended starting procedures are not followed – a vehicle may exhibit unintended movement when its ignition key is turned. FCA US is unaware of aware of any related injuries or accidents involving this population of vehicles.
Millionth Jeep Wrangler JK to roll off line this morning
Fri, 17 May 2013According to a report on the Chrysler Communications Facebook page and one fairly grainy image of the production line, at around 11:00AM Eastern this morning, the one-millionth Jeep Wrangler JK will roll out of the company's Toledo assembly plant.
The third-generation or "JK" Jeep Wrangler has been around since the 2007 model year, and has obviously been more popular than ever. With a greater than ever number of trim levels, two-door and four-door Unlimited models and hardy off-roading Rubicon packages, the JK offers more to choose from than ever for those looking for something in a traditional Jeep. In fact, with the modern 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 powering it, the 2012 model year saw more than 140k Wrangers sold here in the US; the best-ever figure for the model.
With a model refresh due out for the Wrangler in 2015 (along with the likely addition of a diesel engine option), we expect that sales will continue to roll right along, too.
