This has been a great dependable vehicle for me the last few years. I am the 2nd owner, I bought it at a car lot with around 99,970 miles on it, and I've put almost 23,000 miles on it in the 3.5 yrs that I've owned it, and all of them have been hwy miles. Minor scratches and dents consistent with age. Garage kept and regularly maintained in optimal running condition. Non-Smoker. I am buying a brand new Jeep, so it is now time to let this one go.

Recently Service:

Drivers Front U-Joint Replaced
Passenger Front U-Joint Replaced
Drivers Front Sway Bar Link Replaced
Tires Replaced 2 Winters ago & have good tread life left (see Picture)
Tire Rotation
Alignment
Muffler Replaced Last Year
Heater Resistor Replaced
Thermostat & Gasket Replaced
Coolant Flush

It does have some issues, I will be as complete and honest about them as possible. The drivers front side of the seat has a rip in it (shown in pictures). Its has some surface rust, what is shown in the pictures is all the rust spots and the right rear fender flare has a scuff on it (shown in pictures). The passenger front window does not go up or down, it needs a new regulator. And the fuel pressure check-valve is bad which causes the you to have to crank it twice, the first time to build fuel pressure from the tank to the engine, and on the 2nd crank, it starts and runs great. There's also a small exhaust leak. Other than these issues there are no other major issues that I am aware of.

***If the Buy It Now is used, I will have the window regulator and fuel check-valve replaced before the buyer picks the Jeep up!!!***

I prefer the vehicle to be picked up but, I will ship if the buyer makes all of the arrangements and pays for the shipping costs before the company comes to pick the vehicle up.
I am requiring a non-refundable $200 down payment within 24hrs using either Cash, Cashier Check, or Paypal.

I have previously sold a vehicle on ebay with a great review, and I have 100% Feedback, so be rest assured what you see and my description is what you get.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!!!

2015 Easter Jeep Safari Concepts First Drive

Wed, Apr 8 2015

Imagine if once a year your grandmother made a chocolate cake. Not a chocolate cake, that chocolate cake. Blow-your-mind chocolate cake. But she won't ever let you have any – you can only have the spatula and whatever's left over in the mixing bowl. And you don't care. You look forward to that spatula and bowl every year because – "Gadzooks!" – that is some stupendous cake. For us, that cake is the Easter Jeep Safari. An annual pilgrimage to Moab, Utah for a taste of what Fiat-Chrysler's off-road brand has cooked up in its Design Dome. "No, you can't have any," the company tells us, "but you can taste it here, then dream about it until next Easter." In Detroit, Jeep gave us a close look at the seven concepts it built for this year's 49th annual event. Then it went a step further and took those show cars to Mill Canyon, UT, to crawl the red rocks in Jeep's natural habitat. After all, the company calls Moab, "Our home away from home." And it's not true that we never get more than a taste of Jeep's conceptual goodness – 2011's JK8 pickup conversion kit is a slice of Safari creation we can now take home, for instance, as are the hood decals that adorned two of the concepts we drove this year. Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, told us that the evolution of Jeep Performance Parts came from listening to journalists and customers in his first year on the job in 2010. So there's that. But still, we want more cake. Like a full-on production Wrangler Africa. These being one-of-a-kind prototypes traipsing through a canyon of nearly immovable objects, we didn't go fast, we didn't go far, we didn't push hard. But we did drive all the Easter Jeeps, and even just this small taste was outstanding. View 30 Photos Jeep Chief While we listened attentively to the detailed spiels on all this conceptual candy, one question ran through our minds: "How am I going to get in the Chief before everyone else?" And we could see the same thought every colleague's face, those scheming bastards. And why not? The Ocean Blue tribute to the venerable Cherokee of old grabbed everyone's attention since the first teaser images weeks before the event, in part because the vintage truck is up there with mermaids for rarity and lustworthiness. Anything that goes this far in obeisance to that classic Jeep is always going to score huge marks. The Chief is a four-door Wrangler underneath, but in many ways it feels nothing like a Wrangler.

Jeep Wrangler likely to get aluminum body, will stay in Toledo

Mon, 27 Oct 2014

Perhaps more than any other vehicle currently for sale in the United States, the Jeep Wrangler is viewed by purist fans as a vehicle that simply must maintain the status quo. In this case, that means a body-on-frame design, solid axles, a relatively large engine sitting up front and a removable top. It's always been that way, and it always will be.
Maybe.
According to the most recent reports, the next-generation Jeep will continue to soldier forth with a full steel chassis underneath its stamped bodywork. The biggest change, reports Automotive News, will be that said panels will be hewn from aluminum instead of steel, a seismic shift of a transition not unlike what's happened with the new Ford F-150. Because it won't be a unibody, the SUV will likely continue to be assembled in Toledo, OH as it (almost) always has been - the latter has been a source of heartburn in recent weeks for the Northwestern city in the Buckeye State.

Chrysler investing $20M in Toledo plant to support 9-speed auto production

Sun, 28 Apr 2013

In 2011, Chrysler announced a $72-million investment in its Toledo Machining Plant to modernize production of the eight- and nine-speed torque-converters for automatic transmissions made there. That upgrade work won't be finished until Q3 of this year, but Chrysler has already announced a further $19.6-million investment to increase production capacity for the nine-speeders.
The extra units will be necessary because the nine-speed transmission they'll be mated to is going into three popular models: it will debut on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, then go into the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Dart. The company predicted that this year alone it would sell 200,000 units equipped with the nine-speed tranny, and it is spending some $374 million in addition to the investment in Toledo to upgrade production capacity for it.
The work attached to this new investment won't begin until Q3 of 2014, and it will be finished by the end of that year. There's a press release below with all the details.
