As the vehicle is also for sale locally, I reserve the right to end this auction early to fulfill local seller rights. For Sale is my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. It has a lot done with it, listed below. I bought this Jeep brand new from a dealer in March of 2014. It will be rolling toward 16,500 miles and is my daily driver. My plan was to offroad a lot, but I am never home and always traveling. Between now and September I will be buying/building a home, and getting married. This thing is getting in the way of me saving money, as you will see below... Here is a list of mods, and I will probably miss some of them. They are in order of installation on vehicle. I will add as I remember... I know a lot of people talk about how much they have into their builds, and there are a lot of Jeeps out there for $60,000 plus. I will say that I got this for $37,550, and have about $12,282 into it (This is just parts - Not Install or shipping Costs). The car has seen synthetic at 786 Miles, and has had 4 more Oil changes since. I have been using a Chrysler MS-6395 approved synthetic oil since the OEM break in oil was drained. The miles are about 70% highway, 30% city. ****There is one known issue with the Jeep. When I installed the component speakers into the sound bar, and then ran the Antenna wire through the roll cage, I did not shield the antenna wire. The crossover and component speakers are interfering with the CB, and needs shielded with some foil. I was planning on doing this when it warmed up, as it needs the top pulled off. Too cold still, and haven't gotten around to it.

Jeep Wrangler Red Rock concept brings Moab to SEMA
Wed, Nov 4 2015Among the concepts that FCA is showcasing at SEMA this year, the Jeep Wrangler Red Rock concept has been decked out with accessories from both the Mopar and Jeep catalogs. The concept is based on the existing Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock edition, but has been taken even further in for this show truck. It pays tribute to the Red Rock 4-Wheelers club and the Easter Jeep Safari it hosts every year in Moab, UT. The Red Rock concept rides on a 2-inch lift kit with 17-inch beadlock wheels shod with 35-inch all-terrain tires. It also has differential covers, a reinforced swing gate and wheel mount, a power winch, LED headlamps and fog lights, and an onboard CB radio. To help it crawl those rocks, it boasts electronic locking differentials, a Rock-Trac transfer case, and Dana 44 solid axles front and rear. Visually setting this concept apart are such special touches as a power-dome hood, red tow hooks front and rear, new rock rails, a color-keyed grille with low-gloss inserts, low-gloss bumpers, and of course the requisite special badging. Inside it's been done up in brown leather with silver accents and a special grab-handle plaque. This particular version will remain a showpiece only. So if you want to see it, you'll have to head to the show floor in Vegas this week. However Jeep is committed to undertaking a production run of 50 examples with many of the same special touches to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Easter Jeep Safari next year. Chrysler recalling hundreds of thousands of Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander SUVs
Wed, 23 Jul 2014The public might associated ignition switch recalls with General Motors - and with good cause - but that's not the only automaker calling its vehicles back in to fix that sort of issue.
Last month we reported that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration was investigating an array of Chrysler Group vehicles for electrical-related safety issues. The administration and Chrysler subsequently issued a recall for 700,000 Dodge Journey crossovers, Dodge Grand Caravan minivans and Chrysler Town & Country minivans. But while the Jeeps that were also under investigation were not covered in that recall, they are being addressed in a separate one now.
Although Chrysler reports that it is only aware of a single accident stemming from this issue, it is "committing now to conduct a recall out of an abundance of caution." The recall affects the 2006-2007 Jeep Commander and 2005-2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, of which it reports there are 792,300 on the road: 649,900 in the United States, 28,800 in Canada, 12,800 in Mexico and a further 100,800 outside of North America.
