2008 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, recently up-fitted by American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) I am the second owner. I purchased it stock in 2010 with 30k miles. The jeep was sent to AEV and built by AEV in Wixom, Michigan in Jan 2012. Here are the details: 2008 2 door Rubi Black/Grey 6 Speed Manual No power windows or locks Hard Top Soft Top (Bestop - OEM, never installed) Full doors (OEM) Half Doors (OEM) AEV JK350 package includes: 3.5" Lift Argent Pintlers 35" KM2 Premium Front Bumper Warn 9.5ci winch Rear Bumper Tire Carrier Snorkel The jeep had 57K miles when it was sent to AEV, and currently just rolled 68K - so just over 10k on AEV build. Jeep runs great and everything works perfect. It does have a few trail scars (yes, it's been on the trail). There are scrapes on both rear plastic fenders, and a splinter in the hard top where I hit a tree branch - it's about the size of a quarter that punctured the top, right above the rear corner passenger side window. If you're interested, I will take specific pictures if you request. Vehicle is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Once the reserve is met, I will not sell the vehicle outside of EBay. |

Jeep Renegade pricing to start at $18,595?
Fri, 14 Mar 2014While there's no shortage of excitement surrounding the new Jeep Renegade, one of the limiting factors to the little trucklet will be its price. With the Kia Soul starting at $14,900 and the Nissan Juke kicking off at $18,990, the Renegade can't afford to stray away from that price bracket.
And judging by some potentially leaked pricing info, it won't. A quick Google search of "Jeep Renegade Price" reveals (at least for now) that the Italian-built Jeep will start at $18,595. The "as shown" price of $25,895 seems to indicate the Trailhawk model shown on Jeep's consumer page.
If the $18,595 figure is correct, it's likely for the base, two-wheel-drive Sport model, with the Latitude and Limited trims falling somewhere between there and the $25,895 as-equipped price of the Trailhawk.

Tue, 14 May 2013Hennessey Performance Engineering has created an HPE650 package for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT fitted with the 6.4-liter Hemi engine. When it leaves the showroom floor it has 470 horsepower and gets from 0-60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds. When it leaves Hennessey's garage floor after the upgrade it has 650 horsepower - 530 hp at the wheels, according to Hennessey - and gets to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds on its way to running the quarter-mile in 12.6 seconds.
There's more than just a Roots-type supercharger bolt-on, with ported cylinder heads and high-flow headers among the many changes made to the engine. You can watch this pre-2014 facelift silver model prove its spec sheet on the drag strip in the video below.
