This baby was my dream Jeep when I got home from Afghanistan but I have decided to sell it and go to college and finish my degree.
I bought it about 2 months ago and it's just now getting into the Jeep season - warm sunny weather. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this beast. It runs like a top and looks bad ass.
In addition to looking bad ass, it also has these options:
* 3.8 ltr V6 - decent gas mileage, but hey, if you're buying a Jeep you are a Jeep person and MPG doesn't matter....it's all about looking cool, am I right?
* Automatic transmission, 4 wheel drive
* Hypertech Max Energy tuner - (approx $329 - for better engine performance)
* Quadratech floor mats throughout, front floorboard, rear floorboard and cargo area floorboard (these are rubber with deep tread design to catch all the mud - these floor mats are around $300-400 for the set)
* SkyJacker stabilizer bars for the front - dual stabilizer bars which helps with the big honkin' tires
* Rough Country 4 inch lift - not too high, not too low - just right (approx $500)
* Custom exhaust
* K&N cold air intake
* Infinity 6 disc in-dash CD player with satellite radio and MP3 jack
* 20 inch wheels - all 5 matching XD's - cost new over $300 each
* 35 inch tires - only a couple months old, spare tire has never touched the ground
* Removable hard top
* Nerf bars with steps
* Bad ass custom black diamond plate front bumper - ready for lights or a wench
All of the after market parts were PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED - not some weekend mechanic work - so no worries there.
This Jeep has 140k HIGHWAY miles on it and it's ADULT OWNED AND DRIVEN.
I would really like to sell this fast so I can get started on my college classes. I am only asking the payoff, which is like $18,000. If you are interested I will give you the exact amount.

Jeep Chief and Wrangler Red Rock Responder teased ahead of Easter Jeep Safari
Thu, Mar 12 2015Jeep is being coy about it's lineup for the 2015 Moab Easter Jeep Safari, releasing just a pair of shots and an exceptionally brief press release on two of the seven concepts coming to the desert later this month. So, what can we glean from the limited assets that have been given to us? Well, as we said, we know Jeep is bringing seven vehicles to its big festival. We also know the names of two vehicles, shown above – there's the Chief and the Wrangler Red Rock Responder. Which is which? A fair question. We're betting the second image is the Wrangler-based Red Rock Responder. As for the Chief, well, we've absolutely no idea what to expect there. Jeep's Moab concepts generally include the model name on which their based – see the Grand Cherokee Trail Warrior and Cherokee Dakar from last year, or even the Wrangler Red Rock Responder, mentioned above. There's no such moniker on the Chief. As for the Chief's illustrated teaser image, as we said, it doesn't reveal much. The body is angular, and quite Jeep like, with squared-off wheel arches and decidedly old-school taillights. Beyond that, though, we don't have much to go on. Expect much more not just on the Chief and Red Rock Responder, but on all seven of the concepts Jeep is bringing to Moab. The party starts on March 28 and runs until April 5. Be sure to check back then for full coverage. Related Video:
2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel and SRT climb onto stage
Mon, 14 Jan 2013This is indeed a case of not knowing how much we wanted something until it arrived. We've been big fans of the Jeep Grand Cherokee ever since the new model arrived a couple of years ago, and while the update you see here might seem just a slight refresh, it's actually much more than that.
For starters, the 2014 Grand Cherokee marks the return of a diesel model here in the States, with Chrysler's new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 under the hood, churning out 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Of course, all of the Grand Cherokee's usual off-road goodies are on hand, with moderate tweaks to make it an even more capable vehicle when the going gets rough. Both the gasoline-fed 3.6-liter V6 and 5.7-liter V8 get the new eight-speed auto, as well.
The high-performance Grand Cherokee SRT also trudges on into the new model year, with very subtle tweaks found underneath the aggressive, slightly redesigned sheetmetal. The 6.4-liter Hemi V8 also gets eight-speed gearing, which Chrysler says will improve not only 0-60 times, but mid-range performance as well. Bring it on, we say.
GMC boss wants a Jeep Wrangler rival
Wed, 12 Nov 2014Challengers come and challengers go, but the Jeep Wrangler continues to push forward even after vehicles like the Toyota FJ Cruiser and the entire Hummer brand have been shut down. Now GMC reportedly wants to take a stab at the quintessential Jeep, as well.
The news comes directly from Buick-GMC vice president Duncan Aldred, speaking with our compatriots over at Edmunds. Although Aldred said there are no plans currently on the table to expand GMC's lineup beyond the current range, "there is plenty of room everywhere in the hierarchy."
That could include a rival to the Wrangler, as well as a flagship luxury SUV positioned above the current Yukon Denali (pictured above). Just when (or for that matter, if) such models might come into fruition remains a big question mark, but it's certainly interesting to see what GM's dedicated truck brand has on the drawing board.
