NOTE: There should be 78
pictures of every part of the vehicle, if you aren't seeing them try reloading the page and scrolling down through the center.  The last pictures are of the engine  compartment.

Up for No Reserve Auction is a low mileage, all stock, and great looking 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4x4.  It isn't lifted and hasn't been been modified.  It was just traded into a Chevy dealership and we were able to purchase it directly from them.  This Wrangler runs, drives, and looks great.  It has been completely checked over in our shop.  It has a brand new radiator, thermostat, housing, front universal joints, and sway bar link.

The exterior is very clean.  The "Bright Silver Metallic" paint shines excellent.  The only real exterior flaws are a door ding in the drivers side door, and a couple very small scratches just below that.  The outer ring of some of the alloy wheels do have some corrosion.  As you can see in the pictures the frame is super solid, and there isn't any rust on the body.  Overall the truck presents very well and really looks great.

The interior is in excellent shape as well.  The carpets, seats, dashboard, and glass are all very clean.  There isn't any wear or tear to mention.  It is a non-smoker with no smoke smells, burns, or marks anywhere.  All of the electronics are functioning properly.

This Wrangler has some nice features and options!

- 4.0L Inline 6-Cylinder Engine

- 5-Speed Manual Transmission

- 4-Wheel-Drive

- Ice Cold Air Conditioning

- Cruise Control

- Tilt Steering

- CD Player

- Dual Airbags

- Alloy Wheels

- Full Sound Bar

This Wrangler runs and drives excellent.  Everything works as it should.  The 4.0L 6-Cylinder engine starts instantly with no smoke and runs great.  The transmission shifts nice and the clutch grabs very strong.  The 4-Wheel-Drive and low range work as they should.  The Jeep goes straight down the road with no shakes, rattles, or pulls.  The brakes stop great with no pulsations as well.  The 4 Matching General Grabber AT2 tires have about 70-80% tread depth remaining in the front, and about 50% in the rear.

I have 1 Key, the owners manual and case, the unused full size spare tire, jack, tools, and a clean/clear title.

Chrysler defies NHTSA, says it won't recall 2.7M Jeep Grand Cherokee, Liberty models

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

Facing a possible recall totaling around 2.7 million of its most popular SUVs, Chrysler remains insistent that the 1993-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty are safe vehicles. This comes on the heels of a recall request from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for these two models due to fuel tanks mounted behind the rear axle, which could possibly be ruptured during severe rear-end collisions, leading to an increased risk of fire. In response to the allegations, Chrysler says that it does not agree with NHTSA nor does it plan on recalling either vehicle.
Chrysler said both SUVs "met and exceeded" the requirements for fuel-system integrity, and cooperated fully with NHTSA since the investigation was opened in 2010. While 15 deaths and 46 injuries have been reported from fires caused by rear-end collisions on these models, Chrysler is claiming that the vast majority of incidents cited by NHTSA were "high-energy crashes," including one where a stopped Grand Cherokee was rear-ended by a tractor trailer going 65 miles per hour.
The automaker wraps up by saying "NHTSA seems to be holding Chrysler Group to a new standard for fuel tank integrity that does not exist now and did not exist when the Jeep vehicles were manufactured." Scroll down for Chrysler's official response to NHTSA, but we're pretty sure this isn't the last we've heard on this issue.

Fiat 500X poised for Paris catwalk

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

We've known for some time that the new, Fiat-based baby Jeep (which may or may not be called the Jeepster) is set to arrive at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. What we weren't sure of was whether its platform mate, the so-called Fiat 500X, would be doing so alongside or at a later date. Well, according to Reuters, we'll get to see the first all-wheel-drive 500 later this year in the City of Lights.
Yes, we can expect the 500X to arrive at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, according to an official with an Italian trade union. The unnamed source cited retooling at Fiat's Melfi factory, in southern Italy, which currently produces the Grande Punto. It's expected that the newest member of the growing 500 family will replace the Suzuki SX4-based Fiat Sedici, although when the X will go on sale remains an open question.
According to Reuters, both the Jeepster and 500X will be built alongside each other in Italy. Whether the 500X will cross the pond with it's slat-grilled cousin, though, remains to be seen (we're leaning towards yes).

Jeep still working to improve Cherokee's 9-speed auto

Tue, Feb 3 2015

Fiat Chrysler is hoping an upcoming software update will stem the tide of consumer complaints surrounding its nine-speed automatic transmission. Owners of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee have reported a number of problems on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's SaferCar.gov website, since the new model and its troubled gearbox arrived way back in October 2013. The software update is "intended to keep the vehicle performing as intended, and to prevent durability issues from occurring in the future," an FCA spokesperson told Automotive News, and will be available to owners of both the 2014 to 2015 Jeep Cherokee and the 2015 Chrysler 200, which also uses the 9AT. While FCA will be notifying consumers of the update, owners can also request the software reflash if they happen into their dealer before then. Despite the widely documented problems with the transmission, the only complaints on NHTSA's website relate to the 2014 Cherokee – neither the 2015 Jeep nor the 200 have received any complaints. That bodes well as FCA prepares to begin deliveries of the 2015 Jeep Renegade and launch the Fiat 500X, both of which pair the 9AT with the 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder. "We have had to do an inordinate amount of intervention on that transmission, surely beyond what any of us had forecast," FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne told Automotive News. "There are things that we have done – that we continue to do. Our proactive customer care intervention has actually increased in intensity on these vehicles in 2014, especially in the second half." What's fascinating about the 9AT's problems are that they haven't been the fault of manufacturer ZF, but have related to software that wasn't "mature" and had "teething problems," Marchionne has said previously, AN reports. With the lack of criticism for the 9AT in 2015 models and this pending software update, though, here's hoping that FCA has finally figured out its fuel-sipping gearbox. Related Video:
