For Sale - 2003 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 Freedom Edition. I bought this jeep last year after looking for a clean, low miles, clean car fax jeep for 9-10 months. I found this one in central Texas. I am the third owner. I bought it for hunting and winter driving here in NW Indiana. But now I decided to move back south and last year I also quit hunting. I don't off road, so I have no use for a Jeep anymore. It has the following:
Inline 6 Cylinder Engine
Air Conditioning
Power Steering
Factory AM/FM/CD
Lift Kit (was on it when I bought it)
BF Goodrich All Terrain 33x12.50x15 Tires with Mag Wheels
5 Speed Manual Transmission
Soft Top
4x4
Sound Bar (Factory)
Custom Front Bumper (Smittybilt)
Fog Lights (factory as they function from the light switch on the steering column)
Side Bars - Tubular
When I bought it I had the fluids changed to synthetic lubes:
Engine oil
Front Axle
Rear Axle
Transfer Case
Radiator was flushed and new (correct) antifreeze put back in.
I had it done at a Pennzoil (Jiffy Lube) facilty.
Also:
New Plugs
New Steering Dampner
New Speakers in Sound Bar
No oil leaks, I had a small one but had it fixed, it was an o-ring on the speedometer cable. I changed the engine oil again at 55,000 (last fall). I used synthetic again. I also put a K&N Air Filter on it.
I know of no issues. It drive fine, the stereo works fine, as does all lights, etc. The 4x4 system works perfectly. Air Conditioner and Heater work fine also. The tires were rotated and balanced at 50,000 miles also.
When I bought it there were two door dings that had been touched up. You can see them when you are up close. I took pictures of both of them (last two pics). It is used and it does have the normal wear (swirls, small chips) that you would expect in any car or truck 10 years old. I took 22 pictures so look it over and judge for yourself. Pictures were taken today, 3/30/2013.
Payment by wire transfer, bank check or cash. All funds must clear before you can pick up the Jeep.
All shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

Jeep Wrangler Copper Crawler is our idea of a restrained Mopar shopping spree
Thu, 07 Nov 2013According to a recent report, the Jeep Wrangler is the most popular SUV for customization, and this is backed up by the fact that the iconic off-roader was just named the Hottest 4x4-SUV at SEMA for the fourth year in a row. Looking for ways to keep its customers in-house rather than going aftermarket, Jeep and Mopar are always teaming to offer exciting new parts and pieces for the JK Wrangler.
Compared to most other Wranglers on display at SEMA - as well as other Chrysler Mopar SEMA concepts - the Jeep Wrangler Copper Crawler is surprisingly reserved, but should be no less exciting for owners to give their Wrangler a distinctive look. Starting off with an eye-catching copper paint scheme, the Jeep then goes on a Mopar catalog shopping spree with its matte black grille, black beadlock wheels, two-inch lift, Rubicon bumper (with a winch and aero end caps up front) and rocker panel and taillight guards.
Jeep also upgraded the Wrangler's transfer case for low-speed rock crawling (hence the vehicle's name) and cold-air intake for extra measure.
Sunday Drive: Trucks and SUVs of all shapes and sizes
Sun, Nov 5 2017The American automotive marketplace is dominated by trucks and SUVs, and so was the last week of coverage on Autoblog. By far, the most popular story of the week was our First Drive of the 2018 Lincoln Navigator. It may look like an old-school lumberer, but in reality Lincoln's flagship is a thoroughly modern, turbocharged-V6-powered, three-row, luxury people mover. The Jeep Wrangler is the world's most recognizable vehicle. So it's no surprise that the next version looks a whole heck of a lot like the last one, and the one before. It's all in the details, which is why we were so excited when Jeep decided to unleash a trio of images showing both two- and four-door Wranglers for us to dissect ahead of the SUV's official debut at the L.A. Auto Show later this year. Past that, spy photos of the next Chevy Silverado and Ram 1500 were predictably popular. See both of those below, and the cap it all off, check out the entire week's worth of SEMA coverage – including the bonkers Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6 – in our mega image gallery at the bottom of this post. Enjoy! As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2018 Lincoln Navigator First Drive | From black sheep to flagship 2018 Jeep Wrangler revealed: First photos released before L.A. Fiat Chrysler's profit boosted by Ram and Jeep in North America
Wed, Jul 31 2019MILAN/DETROIT — Fiat Chrysler took the market by surprise by sticking to its full-year profit guidance on Wednesday after a strong performance from its Ram pickup truck in North America helped it defy an industry slowdown. Chief Executive Mike Manley, in FCA's first earnings release since a failed attempt to merge with France's Renault, also left the door open to that or other deals. "We are open to opportunity," Manley said on a call with analysts. "I have no doubt why there still would be interest in it," he added, when pressed on what it would take to revive talks with Renault. Manley declined to comment further. FCA last month abandoned its $35 billion merger offer for Renault, blaming French politics for scuttling what would have been a landmark deal to create the world's third-biggest automaker. Manley said a merger was not a must-have and Fiat Chrysler's business plan was strong. The company said it remained confident its adjusted earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) would top last year's 6.7 billion euros ($7.5 billion). Given disappointing forecasts from other automakers this earnings season, FCA's confirmation of the outlook sent Milan-listed shares in the Italian-American automaker, whose other brands include Jeep, up over 4%. A broad-based auto sales downturn has rattled the sector, forcing FCA's competitors — including Renault, Daimler and Aston Martin — to cut their sales forecasts after second-quarter results, while U.S. carmaker Ford gave a weaker-than-expected 2019 profit outlook. Japan's Nissan, a long-term partner of Renault, said it would cut 12,500 jobs by 2023 after its earnings collapsed. In the second quarter FCA's adjusted EBIT totaled 1.52 billion euros, versus analysts' expectations of 1.43 billion euros, according to a Reuters poll. FCA's U.S. shipments were down 12% in the second quarter but the group said that the successful performance of its Ram brand resulted in an enhanced share of the large pickup truck market of 27.9%, up 7 percentage points from last year. Adjusted EBIT margin in North America rose to 8.9% from 6.5% in the first quarter, thanks to strong demand for the heavy-duty Ram and the new Jeep Gladiator pickup. Chief Financial Officer Richard Palmer also said FCA expected to report up to 10% margins in the region in both the third and fourth quarters.
