Selling my 93 Wrangler with 115,000 miles on the straight six motor with an automatic transmission and a clear title. There are many extras on this thing and if I miss a few I apologize. I built it strictly for offroading and the whole exterior is bed-linered as well as the interior. There is a scrape on the passenger rear quarter panel which you can see in the pictures and there is also a dent on the driver front quarter panel on the bottom from lifting with a high lift jack. It has roughly 13" of lift with 33x12.50x15 Pro Comp Mud Terrain tires with about 50% tread left. on the front end is a Manik Front Bumper with a Smittybilt 8000lb Winch which can be controlled inside and from a controller you plug into the winch. The winch is hooked up to a shut off switch that is in the engine compartment. It has high lift jack mounted on the bumpre, a tough stuff hood mount for a shovel/ axe, new cap and rotor, spark plugs, plug wires, red top optima battery, additional electric cooling fan, new brake pads, Ford 8.8 rear end geared to 3.73 with disc brakes, front axle is a dana 30 geared the same, Slip yoke eliminator kit, custom cv style drive-shaft, magnaflow exhaust, rough country shocks, smittybilt rear bumper with tire carrier, rock slider steps, under carriage rock lighting " 8 LED pods", and a 10" drop hitch. Inside there is Mastercraft bucket seats with four point harnesses, an additional bar added to the roll cage for extra strength, grant steering wheel, toughy glove box, mastercraft handles on roll cage, and a large lockable storage box in the jeep for tool storage. I also have an additional bikini top, wind jammer, and a cover for the rear storage area. I purchased it in 2009  and have done all of the work to it and it has been a fun toy but now its time for it to go. I would prefer local pickup but if you are interested in shipping I'm sure we can work something out. Payment will be either accepted through paypal or just plain old cash. If you have any further questions feel free to message me through ebay.

Thanks    .

Jeep going bigger with new Grand Wagoneer, smaller with sub-Renegade?

Tue, 11 Mar 2014

The headlines are still rolling in for the new Renegade that Jeep unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last week, but already reports are surfacing, citing sources within the company, about what Chrysler's iconic off-road brand will do next.
Speaking with Auto Express (whose reports we tend to take with a grain of salt or two), Jeep chief Mike Manley suggested that two courses of action are currently under consideration at Auburn Hills to develop two very different new models - one smaller and one larger than anything Jeep currently makes.
One plan would be to make an SUV or crossover even smaller than the new Renegade, although it isn't immediately clear what platform it would take. The Renegade (pictured above in Trailhawk spec) will be built in Italy alongside Fiat's upcoming 500X, but uses a heavily modified platform. We figure the smaller model, if approved, could base itself on the new Fiat Panda Cross.

2015 Jeep Renegade leaks out ahead of Geneva debut

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Meet the Renegade - Jeep's new baby crossover that's set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show this week. The folks at Jalopnik got their hands on a small batch of photos of the new little cutie, showing what appears to be a Trailhawk (read: trail-rated) version, as well as a more civilian-spec Renegade, complete with a new removable roof system, reportedly called My Sky.
Details are slim, though in addition to the exterior images, one photo of the interior has also been leaked, showing what appears to be a small, yet functional (and nicely appointed) cabin. Early reports suggested that the new small Jeep would be based on the Fiat 500L platform, though Jalopnik rightly points out that the Renegade looks an awful lot like the Panda 4x4. Regardless, there's still likely some 500L bones under there, and we'll know more once the official details are revealed in the very near future.
Head over to Jalopnik for more shots of the cute little Renegade, and stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Jeep Cherokee faces on-sale delay

Sat, 23 Mar 2013

A report in The Wall Street Journal looks at some of the obstacles to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee that go beyond its mootable yet "very contemporary" looks, almost all of them based on Fiat's financial position. Starting with that sheetmetal, in defense of it SRT president Ralph Gilles and Jeep design head Mark Allen said they wanted to "make sure the design still looks modern five years from now."
The WSJ piece doesn't cite longevity as a factor, instead saying that its features originated in a design for an Alfa Romeo, the transformation into a Jeep design meant allowing Chrysler get it to market more quickly and save "hundreds of millions of dollars" in engineering.
The need for Fiat to save money while it weathers the European situation has cut budgets for development, engineering and the pace of retooling the Toledo, Ohio plant to build the Cherokee. In a familiar case of snowballing at work, among the effects will be pushing back the Cherokee's volume sales date and delaying updates to some of Chrysler's other products.
