You are looking at a 1992 Jeep Wrangler.  This Wrangler is a 4 Cylinder 5 speed.  The Jeep starts right up and runs without any strange engine noises.  The 5 speed transmission shifts perfectly through all 5 gears, however there is a loud noise coming from the transmission in 4th and 5th gear.  The Jeep can still be driven, but it is loud.  This would be a great winter project or drive it just the way it is.  Jeeps are great in snow, off road, and normal driving in the summer with the top off.  This Jeep has an amazingly solid frame for its age. I have most of the frame shown in pictures.  I also noticed that the floor pans are rotting out and will need attention, The 4 wheel drive works great. There is no AC, and the heat blows hot but it does not heat the Jeep well. The Body seems to be very solid, with the exception of some dings and scratches.  As you can see in the pictures the Jeep has the oversize fender flares.  They are in great shape.  The wheels are the stock SE wheels and the tires are almost new.  The doors look like they may be CJ doors.  They were originally black, but painted green.  As you can see in the pictures, the inside of the doors are still black.  The front carpet is missing.   There is an aftermarket radio in the Jeep, but it doesn't work at all.   The interior is in decent shape.  There is some staining on the carpet and the driver seat is pretty torn up.  The passenger side seat and rear bench are in great shape.   The top has a good size chunk out of it on the driver side (pictured),

If you want me to send you additional pictures I would be happy to do that.  All I ask is you be specific as to what you want to see.  Also please ask all questions by noon the day the listing ends.  I will try to answer all questions, but its tough when they come in last minute.

If you are looking for a cheap Wrangler that runs great, this is it.  It is being sold NO RESERVE.  This Jeep Wrangler is being sold AS-IS, no exceptions.  The Wrangler is available to be seen and driven Mon-Fri 9:30-5:00 and Sat 9:30-1:00.  If you want to see it or have any questions, feel free to contact me. The $2600 buy it now will be accepted until Sat 1:00pm or bidding goes over $2000.  I will not end the auction until I have a $500 non refundable deposit. If you come look at it in person and love it you can drive it home that day!

THERE ARE NO EXTRA FEES!!!  WHAT YOU BID IS WHAT YOU PAY!!!  WE CAN ISSUE YOU A 20 DAY TEMPORARY PLATE FOR $20, BUT YOU MUST HAVE AN INSURANCE BINDER FAXED TO US 1 BUSINESS DAY BEFORE YOU PICK IT UP.  THE JEEP IS ALSO FOR SALE LOCALLY SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION AT ANY TIME.

***Paypal is only accepted for the down payment.  The remainder must be paid with either cash or a bank check when you pick it up.***

***IF YOU CHOOSE TO PAY WITH A BANK CHECK YOU MUST FAX OR EMAIL ME A COPY OF THE BANK CHECK AT LEAST 1 BUSINESS DAY BEFORE YOU PICK THE WRANGLER UP.***

8 cars we're most looking forward to driving in 2015

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Now that 2014 is officially in the books, it's time to look ahead. And following our list of the cars we liked best last year, we're now setting our sights at the hot new metal that's coming our way in 2015. Some of these, we've already seen. And some are still set to debut during the 2015 auto show season. But these are the machines that keep us going – the things on the horizon that we're particularly stoked to drive, and drive hard. Jeep Renegade Not the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not the Ford Mustang GT350. Not the new John Cooper Works Mini. Nope, I'm looking forward to the adorable, trail-rated Jeep Renegade. And that's because I really, really, really like our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I do not, however, care too much for the Cherokee's looks, and I really don't like its $38,059 price tag. The Renegade Trailhawk, meanwhile, promises much of the same rough-and-tumble character as its big brother, but at what we expect will be a more reasonable price (I'm personally wagering on the baby Jeep's off-road model starting at no more than $23,000). With a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a nine-speed automatic, it should also be a bit easier to fill than the V6-powered Cherokee. Also, I can't help but love the way the Renegade looks. It's like someone took a Wrangler, squished it by 50 percent and then handed it off to George Clinton for a healthy dose of funk. The interior, with its bright, expressive trims and color schemes should also be a really nice place to spend some time. I'll be attending the Renegade's launch later this month, so I'll have a much shorter wait than my colleagues. Here's hoping the baby Jeep lives up to my expectations. – Brandon Turkus Associate Editor Mazda MX-5 Miata Here's an uncomfortable truth: I'd rather spend a day driving a properly sorted Mazda MX-5 Miata of any generation on a winding road than I would nearly any other vehicle, regardless of power, price or prestige. It's not just that I prize top-down driving and enjoy the Miata's small size because it gives me more road to play with. I just find there's more motoring joy to be had with high-fidelity handling and an uncorrupted car-to-driver communication loop than I do with face-distorting power or grip – let alone valet-stand gravitas. But perhaps most of all, I love Miatas because they can deliver that level of feedback and driver reward at modest speeds that won't put the locals on edge or endanger lives – you can use more of the car more of the time.

Millionth Jeep Wrangler JK to roll off line this morning

Fri, 17 May 2013

According to a report on the Chrysler Communications Facebook page and one fairly grainy image of the production line, at around 11:00AM Eastern this morning, the one-millionth Jeep Wrangler JK will roll out of the company's Toledo assembly plant.
The third-generation or "JK" Jeep Wrangler has been around since the 2007 model year, and has obviously been more popular than ever. With a greater than ever number of trim levels, two-door and four-door Unlimited models and hardy off-roading Rubicon packages, the JK offers more to choose from than ever for those looking for something in a traditional Jeep. In fact, with the modern 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 powering it, the 2012 model year saw more than 140k Wrangers sold here in the US; the best-ever figure for the model.
With a model refresh due out for the Wrangler in 2015 (along with the likely addition of a diesel engine option), we expect that sales will continue to roll right along, too.
