I bought this Jeep 3 years ago for my wife. My son and I stripped it down and completely sanded tub. We rhino lined the entire tub adding the following:
New bar padding, new Rampage top with tinted windows, Cover King Neoprene seat covers, Heated seats X3, Dash trim kit, New mirrors, new tunnel for heater, new tires, new rims, back-up camera, front u-joints, Marine amplifier (for when the tops down), new CD player, New wedge speakers, side and front speakers, New seatbelts, New SAFE box for center, Shifter extensions, Clutch and brake pedal rubber, New top interior light, New windshield, Air horn, Tune up, New window top rails. New top support bars, New top rails for top, Tail light guards, Fog lights, grille inserts, Steering column (used), New track bar and pitman arm.
We bought two sets of seat covers for the front, so a new set will be put on before you buy it. The tires are about 70%, I just rotated the tires and checked the front and back brakes, they are about 55-60%. I also saved the old windows and extra snaps and etc.
This has for three years and is still being driven daily by my wife (65 miles daily). We have only tuned up the motor, it is a strong running motor. We was told by a mechanic that it was replaced, but have no proof of this. it has a flow master muffler which I have never liked. The transmission is strong and only shifts hard when its really cold. (due to the shifter boots being stiff from the cold) I had always planned on getting some made from leather. The Jeep is a 1992 so it rides like a 1992 (leaf springs not coils) but drives well. The tires are worn evenly and no dips or tread problems. It has a dent on the left front behind the tire due to a blow out from the previous owner. The side rails at the bottom are starting to show some signs of surface rust. I just installed a New TREX fuel tank with new cover and straps, and a Battery a while ago.
Pictures include tub prior to being Rhino lined, view of rear view camera, front and back brakes, tire tread, marine amp set up on pedestals, and etc
Ask any questions and I will try try to awnser them promptly. This is for sale locally and we could end the auction early if it sells. We have 95% of the receipts. We are only selling this due to my wife wanting a car/suv with more room for our teenage children.

Jeep Renegade pricing to start at $18,595?
Fri, 14 Mar 2014While there's no shortage of excitement surrounding the new Jeep Renegade, one of the limiting factors to the little trucklet will be its price. With the Kia Soul starting at $14,900 and the Nissan Juke kicking off at $18,990, the Renegade can't afford to stray away from that price bracket.
And judging by some potentially leaked pricing info, it won't. A quick Google search of "Jeep Renegade Price" reveals (at least for now) that the Italian-built Jeep will start at $18,595. The "as shown" price of $25,895 seems to indicate the Trailhawk model shown on Jeep's consumer page.
If the $18,595 figure is correct, it's likely for the base, two-wheel-drive Sport model, with the Latitude and Limited trims falling somewhere between there and the $25,895 as-equipped price of the Trailhawk.
2014 Jeep Cherokee gets official in a hurry
Fri, 22 Feb 2013Automakers work very, very hard to keep their new vehicles under wraps until they can present them in exactly the way they want it - typically choreographed under the bright lights of an auto show, or perhaps with photos or video in an idyllic location. Spy shooters and leaks, in other words, keep executives and public-relations types up at night.
This is likely to be one of the most polarizing designs to come out in 2014.
Take today, for instance, when the team over at Jalopnik got a big scoop - the first undisguised shots of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, a model whose name wasn't even officially confirmed yet. The clandestine images taken inside of a factory were blurry and didn't exactly show off the crossover's radical new contours in the same sort of flattering light that Jeep probably would've wished for its product reveal. So the Auburn Hills automaker has wisely reacted by spilling at least some of the beans on the new model, giving us these four photos and confirming the Liberty replacement's name, Cherokee.
Government Ending Jeep Investigation
Tue, Jan 21 2014The government is closing its investigation into older-model Jeeps with fuel tanks that could rupture and cause fires. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Friday it has "no reservations" with Chrysler Group's plans to recall the vehicles. The agency is expected to release a report on its investigation in a few weeks. The decision ends an unusually public struggle between Chrysler and NHTSA. The agency asked Chrysler to recall 2.7 million Jeeps last June, contending that their gas tanks - which are positioned behind the rear axle - were at risk of rupturing and catching fire in rear-end crashes. Involved were Grand Cherokee SUVs from the 1993 to 2004 model years and Liberty SUVs from 2002 to 2007. Chrysler initially refused to recall the vehicles. The company said the rate of fuel leaks and fires after crashes was similar to comparable vehicles that were sold during the time in question. It was the first time in two years that an automaker had refused NHTSA's request for a recall. Chrysler later agreed to recall 1.56 million of the Jeeps and install trailer hitches on them to help protect the gas tanks. The company sent notices to the remaining customers saying their vehicles were fine if they have factory-installed or Chrysler-made trailer hitches. NHTSA said late Friday that it has been in close contact with Chrysler and will monitor the recall as it continues. Chrysler has told customers that it will start installing the hitches soon. "Consumers should have their vehicles serviced promptly once they receive final notification from Chrysler,"NHTSA said in a statement. In its own statement Friday, Chrysler said, "We share NHTSA's commitment to safety." NHTSA's outgoing chief, David Strickland, told The Associated Press in an interview last month that Chrysler had convinced NHTSA that the Jeeps were no more dangerous than similar vehicles sold at that time. "Those vehicles performed at a rate similar to their peers. That is the keystone analysis as to whether something poses an unreasonable risk to safety," Strickland said. Friday was Strickland's last day at NHTSA. He is joining Venable, a law firm. NHTSA began investigating the Jeeps at the request of the Center for Auto Safety, a Washington-based advocacy group. "It is tragic that NHTSA approved Chrysler's sham trailer hitch recall for Jeeps that explode in rear impacts," the Center for Auto Safety's director, Clarence Ditlow, said Friday.
