Up for sale is an extremely clean and very solid 1970 Jeep Wagoneer. This Jeep is a lifetime Northern Calif. Jeep and is rock solid. There is a bit of bubbling in the rear lower quarter but difficult to see in the pics.

The body is very straight as is the interior. The original upholstery is actually still intact and under the seat covers.

All the glass in in great shape. The dash pad is in need of replacing.

Mechanically the Jeep is complete. I was not able to get it to runs on it's own but it does turn over freely. There does not appear to be any leaks of any kind and all the fluids are full and clean.

The Jeep has sat for many years but it is in really good shape. The brakes are soft, the tires are old but hold air.

The A/C is intact and the compressor is in the back.

This is sold with a BILL OF SALE ONLY and has been out of the system for many years. There are no fees owing but please check with your local DMV to determine that a title can be obtained. I can get a title but it would take approx., 30 days

Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?

Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.

Jeep appears to have nailed it this time. After two decades of assembling its Grand Cherokee sport utility vehicle, the American automaker has finally delivered a world-class off-roader capable of taking on everything in its segment - and more - with a high likelihood of coming out on top.
And if you drove last year's model, it's time to climb behind the wheel again as Jeep has significantly updated the SUV for 2014 with a bold new exterior appearance, an upgraded interior with enhanced electronics and a new transmission that completely transforms the way it drives.
We recently spent a full week with a dark blue 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4x4, a well-optioned model fitted with the standard gasoline-fed V6. While it didn't have the punch of the range-topping V8-powered SRT8, or the fuel-sipping economy of its new EcoDiesel sibling, the high-volume variant left us quite impressed.
