Own a classic. 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is being listed for Robins RV And Auto Sales. We are a licensed and Bonded used RV Dealer in N. Idaho. This wagon only has just over 90K miles and is in very nice condition. The 5.9L V-8 Starts easy and runs out strong and smooth. The Automatic transmission shifts strong as it should. All power options work as they should except for the rear tailgate window doesn't go up or down. There is an aftermarket am/fm/cd player that sounds great. The interior of this Jeep is extremely nice and shows very little use. The body is in overall good condition, however there are a couple of dings in the back corners, and on the right front fender near the marker light. These are fantastic winter vehicles and this one despite its very minor imperfections would make a great part of any ones collection either restore or for a daily driver. Tue, 14 May 2013Hennessey Performance Engineering has created an HPE650 package for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT fitted with the 6.4-liter Hemi engine. When it leaves the showroom floor it has 470 horsepower and gets from 0-60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds. When it leaves Hennessey's garage floor after the upgrade it has 650 horsepower - 530 hp at the wheels, according to Hennessey - and gets to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds on its way to running the quarter-mile in 12.6 seconds.
There's more than just a Roots-type supercharger bolt-on, with ported cylinder heads and high-flow headers among the many changes made to the engine. You can watch this pre-2014 facelift silver model prove its spec sheet on the drag strip in the video below.
Jeep gives Cherokee its yin and yang with Sageland and Urbane concepts
Sat, 19 Apr 2014Among the design concepts Jeep has prepared for Beijing Motor Show this year are a pair of Cherokees dressed up in contrasting schemes.
In one corner we have the Sageland concept pictured above, drawing its inspiration from Shangri-La with an Ivory Peal tri-coat and bronze trim for the grille, fascia appliqués, roof rack, sunroof, mirror caps and exhaust tips. Inside it's all earth tones with light gray Nappa leather seats and red and blue top-stitching inspired by traditional Chinese themes.
Meanwhile the Urbane concept (pictured right) takes the Cherokee in a different direction with steel blue metallic paintjob and black accents. Inside it adopts the theme of Chinese calligraphy with Piano Black accepts and dark red Nappa leather.
