Here is a super clean, rust free 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, from the great State of Texas.  Grand Wagoneers have become quite collectable, and their values continue to rise, as rust free, original examples are harder and harder to find.

Please call (217) 253-2299 days or (217) 550-3428 after hours, to discuss this Woody in detail.  .

This Grand Wagoneer has one of the cleanest, original undercarriages I have ever seen.  It has never been undercoated, yet the frame, floors, wheel wells are all clean and rust free factory primer!  The exterior paint has had a recent, beautiful re-spray, in it's original Baltic Blue.  The wood is also new and looks great.  We have the original "Grand Wagoneer, Jeep and 4x4" badging, but did not install it, as we would let the new owner decide weather or not they want us to install it.

The interior is very clean and comfortable.

This woody has brand new Goodyear 235/75/15 Wranglers, new front brake calipers and pads, new brake master cylinder, combination valve, rear brake cylinders, shoes and hardware.  The AC is ice cold.  The cruise control works perfectly.  The original AM/FM/Cassette Radio with Jensen speakers sounds great.  The electric seats and even the clock works perfectly.

The seats, door panels, dash, headliner and carpet are in excellent condition and it is a non smoker, with no smell or burns.  She drives out very nice.

The original 360 V8 runs smooth, strong and quiet, with no leaks.  It does not burn oil.  The automatic transmission shifts sure and true.

Bid with confidence, as we have sold fine automobiles from coast to coast, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Central America, The UK and all over Europe.

We ship Worldwide!  Just send us your zip code or preferred port for a fast quote.

Jeep Grand Wagoneers are becoming harder to find with the original, rust free, sheet metal. Our "Buy It Now" price is well below similar Jeeps you will see advertised. Our reserve is even lower.

Please call us at one of the numbers above.

Thank you and good luck!

FCA reportedly joins the crowd skipping this year's Paris Motor Show

Thu, Jun 14 2018

It's likely FCA vehicles will not be seen at the Paris Motor Show this year. Automotive News is reporting that Fiats, Alfa Romeos, Jeeps and Abarths will not be a part at the show, based on information circulating in the French media. There's a possibility that Maseratis will be displayed at a special section dedicated to upscale cars, but Maserati too will not have a show stand of its own. Ferrari will have a stand, but as it happens, the supercar maker has been a standalone brand since 2015. Skipping the Paris show follows FCA's decision not to take part in the Frankfurt show last year, and the two shows alternate as the biggest autumnal automotive show in Europe. Volkswagen will also not attend the event, and neither will Ford, Nissan or Infiniti. This has become a problem for car shows worldwide, including Detroit's North American International Auto Show. FCA has not released a formal statement about the matter, but a FCA spokesman, quoted by the French magazine L'Argus, reportedly said that the sales and publicity brought in by the show stand would not justify the costs of attending. The news mirrors Volvo's newly announced plan to not take part at the next Geneva Motor Show, but to arrange "bespoke activities" to introduce its cars instead. Related Video:

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee pricing leaks out

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

With our deep dive and auto show coverage of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, we brought you as much information as Chrysler would allow us to, but one thing we're still left in the dark about was the pricing. It would seem that Jeep Garage might have the answer for that. The Jeep enthusiast forum claims to have gotten its hands on the ordering and pricing breakdown for the updated Grand Cherokee, and while a Jeep representative has yet to get back to us as to the validity of the site's claim, these preliminary numbers look pretty kosher to us.
In base form, the two-wheel-drive Laredo will reportedly start at $28,795, which is a $1,100 increase over the 2013 model year, and the new Grand Cherokee Summit trim level starts at $47,995 for 4x2 models and $50,995 for the 4x4. Waiting for the new diesel engine? The torquey new 3.0-liter oil-burner will be a $4,500 option on Limited, Overland and Summit 4x4 models, but 4x2 pricing (and availability) are not known. As for the range-topping Grand Cherokee SRT (no longer called the SRT8), this added performance could run you an extra $2,700 with a new starting price of $62,995. More importantly, loaded to the gills with all available options, the 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT will top out at around $72,400 - or around $6,000 more than a fully loaded 2013 GC SRT8.
We'll let you know if the gang over at Jeep get back to us with any confirmation, but until then, head over to Jeep Garage to see the pricing details it has listed.

What would you drive in 1985?

Wed, May 6 2020

Bereft of live baseball games to watch, I've turned to the good ship YouTube to watch classic games. While watching the 1985 American League Championship Series last night, several of the broadcast's commercials made its way into the original VHS recording, including those for cars. "Only 8.8% financing on a 1985 Ford Tempo!" What a deal! That got me thinking: what would I drive in 1985?  It sure wouldn't be a Tempo. Or an IROC-Z, for that matter, despite what my Photoshopped 1980s self would indicate in the picture above. I posed this question to my fellow Autobloggists. Only one could actually drive back then, I was only 2 and a few editors weren't even close to being born. Here are our choices, which were simply made with the edict of "Come on, man, be realistic."  West Coast Editor James Riswick: OK, I started this, I'll go first. I like coupes today, so I'm pretty sure I'd drive one back then. I definitely don't see myself driving some badge-engineered GM thing from 1985, and although a Honda Prelude has a certain appeal, I must admit that something European would likely be in order. A BMW maybe? No, I'm too much a contrarian for that. The answer is therefore a 1985 Saab 900 Turbo 3-Door, which is not only a coupe but a hatchback, too. If I could scrounge up enough Reagan-era bucks for the ultra-cool SPG model, that would be rad. The 900 Turbo pictured, which was for auction on Bring a Trailer a few years ago, came with plum-colored Bokhara Red, and you're damn sure I would've had me one of those. Nevermind 1985, I'd probably drive this thing today.   Associate Editor Byron Hurd: I'm going to go with the 1985.5 Ford Mustang SVO, AKA the turbocharged Fox Body that everybody remembers but nobody drives. The mid-year update to the SVO bumped the power up from 175 ponies (yeah, yeah) to 205, making it almost as powerful (on paper, anyway) as the V8-powered GT models offered in the same time frame. I chose this particular car because it's a bit of a time capsule and, simultaneously, a reminder that all things are cyclical. Here we are, 35 years later, and 2.3-liter turbocharged Mustangs are a thing again. Who would have guessed?
