Classic Jeep Wagoneer Woody....you don't see many of these anymore. Only 74k+ miles. This Jeep is heavy, solid and quiet and drives down the road like a Cadillac! Strong working engine that purrs and has plenty of power for towing etc. Purchased from second owner who only drove it at his cabin the last 12 years. This Jeep sat in previous owners garage and was rarely driven, evident by tags which have not been updated since 2002. Due to the dry central Oregon weather, there is no rust, however many of the belts and hoses were replaced due to cracking from drying out. I had the entire engine etc. gone through and tuned up by Daniels Automotive in Bend Oregon. They did $1800+ work to the engine, brakes, drivetrain etc. Everything has been lubed, the oil changed and all fluids replaced. All switches, heater, original radio, lights, power steering and 4 wheel drive in working condition. Back window rolls down with both the dash switch and key switch and seals great. Awesome plaid seats are in excellent condition too. Original paint. No cracks/chips in any glass. Tires have plenty of life left and hubcaps in great shape too. A couple dings and dents and a crack in the dash. Clean title in hand.

Jeep will show new Grand Wagoneer to dealers this summer
Mon, Jun 8 2015It's generally accepted that the Jeep Cherokee was the first real midsize sport utility vehicle to make headway into the hearts, minds and driveways of American consumers in 1984. While that SUV was aimed at the mainstream, it could be argued that the vehicle that made the idea of a luxury SUV possible was the seminal Jeep Grand Wagoneer. We've been hearing rumblings of a revived Grand Wagoneer for years, but if a report from Automotive News is accurate (despite the fact that it seemingly contradicts an earlier report from the same outlet), the wait may nearly be over. Jeep plans to show off its new Grand Wagoneer at the upcoming dealer show in Las Vegas in August, and while that doesn't give any real indication of when such a vehicle may make it into the hands of consumers, such news probably at least means the automaker has a finalized design. While we're mostly over retro-inspired cars, we'll happily cast a vote toward a three-row Grand Wagoneer with faux woodie body sides, if anyone cares to tally it... Mon, Feb 2 2015Super Bowl XLIX is in the books, and the New England Patriots emerged victorious. Of course, if you're like us, the big game wasn't so much about the battle between the east coast and west, so much as a fight between the world's automotive advertisers. We collected and collated all of last night's new ads and put them together for you to vote on. And yes, we're limiting this year's contest to last night's new features. That's why you aren't seeing Dodge's epic Wisdom among our collection of commercials, and it's a similar story with Chevrolet's Truck Guy Focus Group series, which highlights the new Colorado. You can still vote for your favorites. We won't be closing the voting on our Super Bowl page, so while the winners and losers are correct as of this writing, it's entirely possible that there could be some changes in the rankings as time goes on. So, without any further ado, here are the winning ads based on your voting. Nissan: With Dad Fiat: Ready For Action Jeep: Beautiful Lands BMW: Newfangled Idea Mercedes-Benz: Fable NASCAR: America Start Your Engines As for those ads that failed to impact you, loyal readers, Toyota was the absolute, undisputed loser. The Japanese brand ran four ads in total – two for Toyota and two for Lexus – and all of them have negative tallies as of this writing. Lexus' Make Some Noise and Lets Play and Toyota's One Bold Choice and My Bold Dad both had very weak showings among the commercials that aired, although they weren't alone. Neither Mazda nor Kia scored particularly well, despite featuring celebrity magic act Penn and Teller and former James Bond, Pierce Brosnan, respectively. Chevrolet was the winner of the losers, as of our writing, recording the fewest downvotes for its audience-punking The Big Game ad. Federal grand jury issues subpoenas to U.S. FCA dealers
Wed, Jul 27 2016Despite an attempt to clarify and backtrack, it seems the investigation into Fiat Chrysler Automobile's false sales reporting is picking up steam. According to Automotive News, FCA dealers and regional offices have received subpoenas ordering them to supply documents and testimony to a grand jury in Detroit. Of course, the dealers are objecting to the request. They claim the subpoenas are too broad and would require them to hand over too much personal information, like personal phone numbers of dealer employees going back years. The group wants to make it clear that FCA has clarified its sales reporting and that the issue is with the manufacturer, not dealers. The dealers say that FCA employee records and testimony should be enough. It's rumored that a dealer group is the one that sparked the investigation in the first place. FCA confirmed on July 18 that it indeed was under investigation by a number of federal agencies. Although they've clarified their position regarding sales reporting, the fraud investigation continues full steam. Related Video:
