1972 Jeep Wagoneer  NO RESERVE!

This Jeep is a project and the auction is for everything i have for it I started it about a year ago with all intentions of making it nice but i have enlisted in the Air Force and I will not have the time to complete it I have tried to list it as best I can.  View Pictures.

Has the amc 360 With Aluminum intake and new 500 cfm Carb from Edelbrock
The heads were decked .007in and cleaned with new valve seals
I converted it to an electric fuel pump that comes on when you turn the key on
It was also very nicely detailed when it was finished
Engine runs great but the jeep has sat for a couple months since i put it together and drove it around the property
Transmission is a turbo 400 automatic that shifts smooth into gear but i've never had the jeep on the road
Transfer Case is a dana 300 that works properly
Manual locking hubs work
Brakes work It has a new booster and master cylinder, lines front and rear and all 4 wheel cylinders
Brakes are drums and will need hoses, shoes, springs, ect. before it is road worthy
Headliner is not perfect but still looks presentable with a couple small tares
the rest of the interior is rough and consists of seats and some other misc things
The frame is rusty but looks solid I haven't found any major rot or holes
The body is very rusty needs panels welded in it but i welded the drivers side floor pans in already it comes with outer quarters and outer rockers and passenger side floor pans
no tailgate but do have the rear window.
It comes with all the glass in good condition but not in the jeep .
I have 3 bumpers for it they are 3 piece bumpers.
4 solid doors currently removed
Hood is solid but has some dents.
Most trim will come with it I had all the trim when I stored it But it will come with what I currently have.
The tires and wheels are lightly used and in great condition The tires are 255/65/15 Pirelli Scorpions (NOT CHEEP) but give the jeep a nice stance
The fuel tank was removed but is plastic and comes with the jeep
odometer reads 59,336 Title says exempt.

Ebay has listed the vehicle as a U/K vehicle it is not it is a U.S. vehicle.

I have put A LOT of work into it so far and I am probably forgetting some things so if you have any questions please call me (724)-290-1422
I have described things as best i can but NOTHING is guaranteed. I will NOT take any responsibilities for the vehicle. It is the buyers responsibility for any problems with the vehicle as it is 41 years old.  Buyer is responsible for pickup/shipping it will need hauled.  The only thing i worked on was the engine and brakes and disassembly nothing is complete everything will need work.  It has sat outside since the pictures of the engine were taken but not much has changed.  The pictures with the blue hood are current.   Vehicle is being sold as-is where-is.
$500 is due within 24 hours after auction ends via Pay Pal.  The title will not be handed over to buyer until the price is payed in full.

Dodge and Jeep recalling 895k SUVs for possibility of headliner fires

Fri, 11 Jul 2014

Dodge and Jeep are announcing recalls of a total of 895,000 Durango and Grand Cherokee models worldwide from the 2011 through 2014 model years. There's a possibility that the wiring in the sun visor can short circuit and cause a fire. It specifically affects vehicles built between January 5, 2010, and December 11, 2013, and there are approximately 651,000 of them in the US, 45,700 in Canada, 23,000 in Mexico and 175,000 outside of North America.
Screws that fasten the sunvisor to the headliner may pierce wires in the visor, if the part has been removed or serviced, potentially causing a fire risk. If the wires short circuit, they could overheat and potentially combust. The automakers report three injuries caused by this defect, and according to the investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, "there may be a total of 52 unique fire incidents."
To fix the problem, Dodge and Jeep will inspect the vehicles for suspect wiring, and all of the models, whether damaged or not, will get a new sun visor spacer with a wire guide to stop the possibility of short circuits. According to the automakers' announcement, "this condition is not present in vehicles which have not had the headliner or vanity mirror serviced." They will notify affected owners, and repairs will begin in August.

'84 MotorWeek Cherokee, Bronco and Blazer comparison indulges your SUV nostalgia

Fri, Jan 16 2015

These days, truck-based, full-frame SUVs are somewhat of a rarity on the auto landscape due to the rapid rise in popularity of easier-driving, car-based crossovers. Although, without the gradually building popularity of these chunky, high-riding vehicles decades ago, it's unlikely that America's roads would be filled with so many CUVs today. In its latest dig into the archives, MotorWeek has found a 1984 comparison test of a trio of these early Sport Utility Wagons, as long-time host John Davis called them, that helped get acceptance of this segment going. This is a red, white and blue test of the SUVs from American automakers at the time and pits the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Bronco and Jeep Cherokee (specifically in Wagoneer guise) against each other. Driving manners and interior usability are considered in the evaluation, but Motorweek actually takes these vehicles off road, too. Among the bigger revelations is the improvement in on-road ability in the past 30 years. While specific 0-60 times aren't given, all three models take around 10 seconds just to get to around 50 miles per hour in the 500-feet on-ramp acceleration test. Check out this clip to see just how far this segment has progressed in the past three decades or just get a blast of nostalgia from these now vintage models. Top horsepower-per-dollar cars in 2017

Tue, Feb 17 2015

Bang for the buck. That quasi-scientific statistic is bandied about by motor heads everywhere from classrooms to barrooms, though the truth of the matter is that it's exceedingly complex to measure. A fair performance-per-dollar index would include something like cross-referencing MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) with point-to-point times on a track or driving route, which is obviously hard to do comprehensively. But, for the sheer joy of talking about cars and playing with a big spreadsheet, there's always the horsepower-per-dollar index, which is more straightforward, albeit hilariously flawed. There are vagaries even with this simple formula, of course: MSRP for vehicles can change at a moment's notice, to say nothing of the bottom-line shifting that happens with local deals or showroom negotiation. For this list we're running with the straight MSRP wherever possible, and as recently reported as we can get it. All the vehicles on this list are 2017 models, and all trims are reported where the lowest price and differing power levels intersect. Some choices were made for personal preference and some for sanity, avoiding things like all 48 trim levels of the Ford Transit, all with the same horsepower). If this list were a simple top ten, or even a top fifty, you'd be bored to tears with all the red, white and blue that is represented. Following perfectly with conventional wisdom, American cars really do lead the world where hp/$ is concerned. So, for the sake of variety (and the sheer joy of seeing a minivan 'win' one round of this thing) I've sorted out some top five and bottom five lists for broad power categories. Let's dive in. Less Than 100 Horsepower Okay, okay, this is hardly a category we'll grant you. But we've often tried to click off all the sub-100-hp cars on sale in the US, and making this list gave us an excuse. It also illustrates that none of these smallish vehicles bring cheap horsepower to the table - for that you'll need a motorcycle. The segment-leading Chevy Spark (above) asks just over $139 for each hp, and that Smart Fortwo Electric Drive has hp on sale for about the same price as its very distant family cousin, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG (insert your favorite Smart joke here... we know you want to).
