1986 Jeep CJ7 Renegade- Up for auction is a super clean Jeep CJ7 with 85k original miles (5 speed). This Jeep spent almost all of it's life in Oklohoma garaged and very well taken care of. I bought it from an individual in North Carolina (he owned it a year or so) a few months ago and have since decided that it's too nice for what I am wanting to do with it (off road, hunt, fish etc). This Jeep has never been repainted/restored but is just a honest well taken care of CJ...the frame is spotless and the engine bay you could eat off of it. The interior is spotless...no crackes in the dash, no tears in the carpet and seats. The Renegade Package decals are all in excellent shape and the paint still has a nice shine to it. The only bad spots on the jeep are on either side of the rear quarter panels have about a quarter size bubbling underneath decal that I have taken a pictures of. The undercarriage is excellent condition and has not been sprayed over/lined etc to hide anything. The jeep runs awesome and I just put a brand new (not rebuilt) Carter carburetor on a couple weeks ago (wanted to keep the stock OEM look instead of a weber carb etc) also has brand new battery. The Jeep shifts and drives down the road awesome and is really tight compared to other CJ's I have driven. Everything on the jeep works perfect, horn, lights, heater, speedometer, oil pressure, volt meter, fuel guage, windshield wiper and even the windshield washer sprayers work! The jeep comes with Hard full doors and hard top (as in pics)....also have original full soft doors, soft top and bikini top all in excellent shape with no tears rips etc. If you are looking for an all original Jeep CJ7 that has been extremely well kept (not off roaded or abused) then this is the one to buy (you can get the rought ones all day for 5-6k but this is not one of them). I am also going to post a youtube video of the jeep running and a walk around....I have perfect feeback with a long history on ebay so bid with confidence! Also ask any questions that you want...please bid with intentions of buying if you win. I have the Jeep listed locally so reserve the right to end the auction anytime. Thanks!!

Refreshed Chrysler 300 SRT won't be sold in NA

Mon, 20 Oct 2014

It looks like it might be time to bid farewell to the V8 rumble from the Chrysler 300 SRT - at least if you live in North America. The reported change comes as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles reshuffles its ranks with the Dodge brand, re-absorbing SRT and building its muscular reputation with the Challenger and Charger Hellcat models. Meanwhile, Chrysler is taking a more mainstream approach, and that likely means the end of overt high-performance models from the division for now.
According to Automotive News, the 300 SRT will be discontinued in the US for 2015, but it won't be totally dead. Some right-hand drive markets will still get the brawny V8 sedan next year, a distinction that goes a long way toward explaining some spy shots we've seen recently.
The 300 SRT's North American demise probably shouldn't come as a total shock. In FCA's five-year plan, it says that the 300 is destined for a refresh to be unveiled later this year, presumably at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. There's no mention of the SRT model in the document, though, which seems to signal its end.

FCA reportedly joins the crowd skipping this year's Paris Motor Show

Thu, Jun 14 2018

It's likely FCA vehicles will not be seen at the Paris Motor Show this year. Automotive News is reporting that Fiats, Alfa Romeos, Jeeps and Abarths will not be a part at the show, based on information circulating in the French media. There's a possibility that Maseratis will be displayed at a special section dedicated to upscale cars, but Maserati too will not have a show stand of its own. Ferrari will have a stand, but as it happens, the supercar maker has been a standalone brand since 2015. Skipping the Paris show follows FCA's decision not to take part in the Frankfurt show last year, and the two shows alternate as the biggest autumnal automotive show in Europe. Volkswagen will also not attend the event, and neither will Ford, Nissan or Infiniti. This has become a problem for car shows worldwide, including Detroit's North American International Auto Show. FCA has not released a formal statement about the matter, but a FCA spokesman, quoted by the French magazine L'Argus, reportedly said that the sales and publicity brought in by the show stand would not justify the costs of attending. The news mirrors Volvo's newly announced plan to not take part at the next Geneva Motor Show, but to arrange "bespoke activities" to introduce its cars instead. Related Video:

Jeep dealer buries WWII Willys GP in showroom floor

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

The Willys MB Jeep earned icon status during World War II thanks to its ruggedness, simplicity and go-anywhere ability. Following the war, it didn't take long for the handy vehicles to be scooped up by the public, and a brand slowly grew around the vehicles that has continued to thrive. Fast-forward to present day, where it's not uncommon for auto dealers to try to grab some of the magic of yesteryear by displaying classic models to connect customers with their brands' proud histories. Now, a Canadian Chrysler Group dealer is taking that notion to the extreme by actually making a vintage WWII Jeep part of its foundation.
Bay King Chrysler in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, recently completed its new showroom, and the franchise really wanted to show its dedication to the Jeep brand. As dealer principal Jamie Richter tells Autoblog, the inspiration for the Jeep installation came from his brother, who became fascinated with a home that had a glass floor looking down into its wine cellar. The company already had the 1943 Willys MB to display, but it had originally planned to build a jungle gym around it for customers' kids. Now, the classic is literally in the floor as customers enter. Richter tells Autoblog that customer reaction so far has been "fantastic."
It's certainly a novel way to bring people into the showroom, and seemingly a nice nod not only to Jeep, but to the men and women who served in the war. If you want to see more about how the Jeep was actually installed and what it looks like, check out this video.
