1991 Jeep Wrangler Renegade, one of the kind. This truck has 155234 miles but for reliable straight 4.0l injected it means only half life. Those motors runs forever. Do the search, you will know. Jeep is lifted, 2" body lift and 4" suspension lift, its bin rhino lined inside and out. Cold AC and heat. This was a Florida truck, you will not find any rust on the vehicle, i guaranty it. It is definitely head turner and it gets a lot of complements. Jeep has everything you would need to go off-road or just to cruse. The only thing i was gonna add ware bumpers. Also two tops are included ( hard top with full doors and 2013 tinted super soft top with steel half doors and window sliders. I also installed family roll bar, still have the sport bar (free). The truck has Jasper rebuild automatic transmission with 100K nationwide warranty, installed 1500 miles ago. Also here is the list of all NEW parts installed in last 6 months: Brake pads Brake rotors Ball joints U joints Billstine shocks Front hubs Front axles Oil in diffs 12000 lb winch Radio, cd Sound bar CB radio CB antenna-firestick Custom fender flares Rebuild transfer case Exhaust manifold Exhaust sys. Catalic converter Engine mounts Transmission mount All tie rods Durango steering box Transmission cooler Radiator Thermostat Bushings LED fog light Warn wireless lights I am probably missing some of the parts i have replaced. This was my baby and i also wanted to be as reliable and safe as possible because of my kids. As you can see i did not spare on the truck. I would never sell the truck, but i have no choice due to divorce and leaving the country. Truck is listed locally and i reserve the right to end auction at any time. Sold as is with no guaranty nor warranty of any kind. |

Jeep Begins Fixing 1.56 Million Recalled Grand Cherokee, Liberty SUVs
Tue, Jan 14 2014Chrysler is just now beginning the big job of fixing 1.56 million older Jeep SUVs seven months after a recall was announced, according to The Detroit News. Jeep Grand Cherokees sold between 1992 and 1998 and Jeep Liberty models sold between 2002 and 2007 are being recalled because the gas tank can leak in the event of a rear-end collision, leading to a fire. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration originally requested the recall of 2.7 million vehicles. Chrysler initially disputed NHTSA's findings and seemed willing to go through a court battle until an 11th-hour deal reduced the number of vehicles involved in the recall. The remaining vehicle owners left out of the recall will receive a "customer service action" notification and may not get fixed. Chrysler says the vehicles are safe and need no repairs. Fixing the 1.56 million Jeeps will cost Chrysler $151 million. NHTSA cited 51 deaths causes by such tank fires. Chrysler plans to install protective trailer hitches to protect the gas tanks, but even the automaker admits the hitches will only provide incremental protection in a low-to-moderate speed rear-end crash. 2014 Jeep Cherokee
Thu, 19 Sep 2013The Cherokee Is Dead. Long Live The Cherokee.
There are three sentences that, for this reviewer, define what needs to be conveyed about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The first: it is very good.
Jeep spent 27 years building the Cherokee and its brand, from 1974 to 2001. Twelve years ago, the Cherokee nameplate rolled away into the distant hills and retirement, at least here in the NAFTA colonies, and it was replaced by a loaded word we knew as "Liberty."
Jeep Wrangler's shift to aluminum could see production leave Toledo
Mon, 06 Oct 2014The Jeep Wrangler may be a timeless design, but sooner or later, time will run out and Chrysler will have to replace it with a newer model more friendly towards the earth it's designed to traverse. That will, it seems, mean a shift to aluminum construction (whether just for the body or for the entire structure) - but what will that mean for the Wrangler's long-time home of Toledo, OH?
According to the latest pronouncements from Fiat Chrysler chief Sergio Marchionne, the shift to an aluminum Wrangler would likely mean moving production out of Toledo. "If the solution is aluminum," Marchionne told Automotive News, "then I think unfortunately Toledo is the wrong place, the wrong setup to try and build a Wrangler, because it requires a complete reconfiguring of the assets that would be cost-prohibitive."
Marchionne also indicated that, were Wrangler production to move elsewhere, it would find another line to take its place in Ohio. "One of the thing that we are dealing with now is what else we do with Toledo that fulfills our commitment to the city and to Ohio. I don't have a doubt that there will be zero impact on head count and employment levels and anything else." Jeep has built the Wrangler in Toledo since World War II, with the exception of six years starting in 1986 when it was built in Brampton, Ontario. The complex dates back to 1910 and currently produces the Wrangler and Cherokee. Past products have included the Wagoneer and Commanche as well as the Dodge Dakota and Nitro.
