This 1984 Jeep CJ7 Renegade had a frame off restoration, it has new floor pans and the entire floor has been coated with Line-X spray in Liner. The motor was pulled and rebuilt by a local race engine builder. Has a mild cam and sounds incredible. The exhaust is dual exhaust with a very deep throated street rod sound. Had a 4" lift kit with Maxxis Mudzilla tires. The jeep has approx 2200 miles since the rebuild. There are a couple things that need attention, the windshild wipers obviously have a vacuum leak, they work but terribly slow. The front differential is leaking and one of the rear tail lights seems to be out. . It has new Auto Meter gages, electric fuel pump and electric fan. There is a custom fabricated tool box that slides in the rear as you can see in the photos. Custom seats and a sound system from out of this world. There are two amps under the seats and a sub with two 8" speakers in the rear. .. i'll be happy to answer any questions. I have all the receipts from the build. Have approx 33,000.00 in the build.

Note: I just noticed the hood looks bent in the photos, it's not bent, i had the hood up taking photos of the motor and didn't close it completely, also the ebay template shows the jeep is a 4cyl.. It's a v8.. not a 4cyl

Stellantis expects to hit emissions target without Tesla's help

Franco-Italian carmaker Stellantis expects to achieve its European carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions targets this year without environmental credits bought from Tesla, its CEO said in an interview published on Tuesday. Stellantis was formed through the merger of France's PSA and Italy's FCA, which spent about 2 billion euros ($2.40 billion) to buy European and U.S. CO2 credits from electric vehicle maker Tesla over the 2019-2021 period. "With the electrical technology that PSA brought to Stellantis, we will autonomously meet carbon dioxide emission regulations as early as this year," Stellantis boss Carlos Tavares said in the interview with French weekly Le Point. "Thus, we will not need to call on European CO2 credits and FCA will no longer have to pool with Tesla or anyone." California-based Tesla earns credits for exceeding emissions and fuel economy standards and sells them to other automakers that fall short. European regulations require all car manufacturers to reduce CO2 emissions for private vehicles to an average of 95 grams per kilometer this year. A Stellantis spokesman said the company is in discussions with Tesla about the financial implications of the decision to stop the pooling agreement. "As a result of the combination of Groupe PSA and FCA, Stellantis will be in a position to achieve CO2 targets in Europe for 2021 without open passenger car pooling arrangements with other automakers," he added. Tesla's sales of environmental credits to rival automakers helped it to announce slightly better than expected first-quarter revenue this week. The next tightening of European regulations will soon be the subject of proposals from the European Commission. The 2030 target could be lowered to less than 43 grams/km. 2015 Jeep Cherokee finds a bit more fuel mileage thanks to stop/start and aero tweaks

Just a year after it burst onto the scene, Jeep has already made a pretty substantial addition to its V6-powered Cherokee, which has proven to be an extremely popular seller so far for the brand, adding a new stop-start system for the midsize, off-road-ready CUV.
The addition of stop-start included a few aerodynamic tweaks to the Cherokee's polarizing body, resulting in a wallet-pleasing increase in fuel economy. According to the EPA, the front-drive, V6-powered Jeep will now return 21 miles per gallon in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, up from 19 city and 28 highway. Four-wheel-drive, V6-powered Cherokees, meanwhile, will now return 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, up from 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg.
With 271 horsepower, 239 pound-feet of torque and these newly enhanced figures, it's refreshing to see a larger, naturally aspirated engine that is still able to take the fight to today's crop of small-displacement, turbocharged four-cylinders.
