No Reserve! Low Miles,4x4, Cd, All Power Options 3.7l V6 Engine, Mint Condition! on 2040-cars
Staten Island, New York, United States
Up for sale is this 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport
4x4 with the 3.7 Liter V6 engine. This Jeep has 95k on it, which is
nothing for a vehicle like this. This SUV looks great inside
and out and runs like a new Jeep would.
Unfortunately, this car was involved in a fresh water
flood and
its being sold with a New Jersey Salvage Title. I am not sure why
the insurance company decided to brand this car a flood car because I
can see no sign of flood damage anywhere on this vehicle. This SUV is
in perfect mechanical condition and everything works the way it should,
and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every
switch functions properly. There are no warning lights on the dash of
any type. I do not believe any water entered this vehicle at all. The
carpets and mats are all dry and there is no smell or anything like
that. This car was just branded a flood because of liablilty reasons.
There is no way any water touched this vehicle. The underneath of the
car looks like it just rolled of the showroom. I have been driving this
vehicle on and off and its a really nice
driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done recently and
its ready
for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! This is a very
well taken cared of
vehicle
and
it will last
someone forever. This Liberty runs and drives like a new vehicle would.
You
literally jump in this car and drive it 2,000 miles back home without
any problems. This vehicle also has the powerful 3.7 Liter V6 engine.
So, it can tow more and has much better performance on and off
road.
This Jeep Liberty is
loaded up with all the options. It has the Sport trim package, 4 wheel
drive, remote
keyless entry, traction control, hatch mounted 5th alloy spare wheel,
luggage rack,
power windows, power locks, power mirrors, CD player, cruise control,
ICE COLD AC, rear hatch wiper, Fold-down rear seats for extra storage,
and just too much more to mention. This Jeep has it
all. The car comes
with the orignal Jeep remote key fob. We also have the original owners
manuals and booklets, the 5th spare wheel
mounted to the back of the vehicle as shown, and the jack and tool kit
are present and complete as well. The exterior of
the
car is in great shape. The car is absolutely clean with major dents or
scrathces that I have seen anywhere on this vehicle. This vehicle is
also 100% rust free! The paint is in perfect condition and it shines
like
glass. You can see your face in the paint. The exterior of this vehicle
is in perfect condition
in my opinion and I think you would be hard pressed to find a cleaner
one. This is a keeper all the way. The
interior of the car is also in nice shape. The seats are is fantastic
condition with the exception of a small blemish on the drivers side
seat, which you can see in my pics. The blemish is small than a dime.
Other than that, the vehicle looks supreme and was very well cared for
unlike many Jeeps. The carpets and other panels are
all in great shape and all the mechanicals and electricals are 100%.
This car looks and drives like a newer vehicle would, its that
great! This car is
being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage title. If
you would like to
see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so.
Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are
located outside my local area, I will assist in any
way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500
non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions
end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the
closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me
in advance. I do drive this vehicle around daily, so the mileage will
be slightly higher upon pickup. With that being said, feel free to
email, call, or text me
at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks and good luck
bidding!

FCA and Peugeot reportedly agree on merger
Wed, Oct 30 2019Citing a Wall Street Journal report, the Detroit Free Press says "Fiat Chrysler and PSA Groupe have agreed to merge." The Journal reported on talks between the two car companies only yesterday. It's said that Peugeot's board met yesterday to approve the deal, FCA's board met today, and an announcement could come as soon as tomorrow, Thursday. Both automakers have released statements, but neither company has released any information beyond admitting to ongoing talks. If the merger happens, the combined entity would become the world's fourth-largest carmaker with a $50 billion valuation, slotting in behind Toyota, the Volkswagen Group, and the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi alliance. Among the merger options possible, "an all-stock merger of equals" is the one analysts and Moody's seem to give the best grade. The reported merger would come about four months after FCA walked away from merger talks with Renault. FCA said the French government scuppered those talks over the role of Nissan in a reformed entity, but there were also brewing issues with French unions, and ongoing turmoil among Renault and Nissan leadership thanks to continuing fallout from ex-CEO Carlos Ghosn's arrest last year. FCA makes most of its revenue in the U.S. and rules Italy, while Peugeot is the second-best-selling automaker in Europe with its own brand in France and Opel in Germany. The two companies already have a partnership in Europe making vans, one that FCA CEO Mike Manley has spoken highly of. Among the list of obvious benefits in a potential merger, FCA would get access to Peugeot's small, modern platforms, $10.2 billion in cash, and electrified and hybrid architecture developments, the latter especially important to FCA as those are fields where it lags. Peugeot would get much easier access to the U.S. market, and the money-printing brands Jeep and Ram. A merged carmaker would have combined sales of nearly 9 million a year, based on 2018 results. By comparison, both Volkswagen and Toyota sell over 10 million cars a year, while the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance almost 11 million. Peugeot CEO Carlos Tavares has proved he knows how to do turnarounds and mergers. After leaving a position as Carlos Ghosn's right-hand man in 2012, Tavares took over Peugeot in 2014, navigated a bailout from the French government and China's Dongfeng Motors in 2015, and turned PSA into a regional powerhouse.
Stellantis expects to hit emissions target without Tesla's help
Tue, May 4 2021Franco-Italian carmaker Stellantis expects to achieve its European carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions targets this year without environmental credits bought from Tesla, its CEO said in an interview published on Tuesday. Stellantis was formed through the merger of France's PSA and Italy's FCA, which spent about 2 billion euros ($2.40 billion) to buy European and U.S. CO2 credits from electric vehicle maker Tesla over the 2019-2021 period. "With the electrical technology that PSA brought to Stellantis, we will autonomously meet carbon dioxide emission regulations as early as this year," Stellantis boss Carlos Tavares said in the interview with French weekly Le Point. "Thus, we will not need to call on European CO2 credits and FCA will no longer have to pool with Tesla or anyone." California-based Tesla earns credits for exceeding emissions and fuel economy standards and sells them to other automakers that fall short. European regulations require all car manufacturers to reduce CO2 emissions for private vehicles to an average of 95 grams per kilometer this year. A Stellantis spokesman said the company is in discussions with Tesla about the financial implications of the decision to stop the pooling agreement. "As a result of the combination of Groupe PSA and FCA, Stellantis will be in a position to achieve CO2 targets in Europe for 2021 without open passenger car pooling arrangements with other automakers," he added. Tesla's sales of environmental credits to rival automakers helped it to announce slightly better than expected first-quarter revenue this week. The next tightening of European regulations will soon be the subject of proposals from the European Commission. The 2030 target could be lowered to less than 43 grams/km. Chrysler reports $166M net income for Q1, down $307M vs. 2012
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Preliminary first-quarter results from 2013 have been announced by Chrysler, and the company is reporting a net income of $166 million on revenue of $15.4 billion. Compared to this period last year, net income is down $307 million and revenue has dropped $1 billion.
Chrysler says that its quarter was negatively affected by the costs associated with launching its 2013 Ram Heavy Duty, 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and preparation for the return of the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee pictured above. The launches should provide a strong second half of 2013, says the automaker. "We remain on track to achieve our business targets, even as the first-quarter results were affected by an aggressive product launch schedule," said Chrysler Group LLC Chairman and CEO Sergio Marchionne.
On a positive note, the automaker says worldwide vehicle sales are up 8 percent from one year ago, a number pushed by a 12 percent bump in U.S. retail sales. In addition, domestic market share has risen slightly, up to 11.4 percent from 11.2 percent last year. Read more in the official statement below.
