JEEP LIBERTY 2012 LIMITED JET EDITION 4X4 SHOWROOM CONDITION UNDER 2k MILES -Edit:  in order to help pay bills, I'm lowering the price further under Kelley Blue Book Value, to  $22,750. Pasadena, Ca area.

ATTN “SNOW” PEOPLE LOOKING FOR A NEAR-NEW 4X4 JEEP TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS WHILE RETAINING ALL-AROUND & DAILY-DRIVER CAPABILITIES  (And it looks even better than my pictures when you see it in person!)

BELIEVE IT OR NOT, TOP MODEL 4X4 JEEPS LIKE THIS  AND THE WRANGLER AND WRANGLER UNLIMITED NORMALLY CANNOT USE SNOW CHAINS-- BUT THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN DEALER-EQUIPPED TO AVOID BEING TURNED BACK BY HIGHWAY PATROL OR STUCK DUE TO SNOW CHAIN INCOMPATIBILITY!

Total Price was $34,220, but had dealer install additional accessories and 5 matching Jeep alloy wheels/tires with snow chain compatibility not standard on Jet Edition.  Rare FULL-TIME SELECTABLE 4-wheel drive (Selec-Trac II) which, unlike standard Jeep 4-wheel drive, WORKS ON SNOW/WET OR DRY PAVEMENT.  EVEN THE VAUNTED WRANGLER AND WRANGLER UNLIMITED, ALONG WITH MOST LIBERTYS, DO NOT HAVE THIS TYPE OF 4WD!  ON SUCH VEHICLES LACKING SELEC-TRAC II, YOU HAVE TO SHUT OFF 4WD TO DRIVE ON DRY PAVEMENT!  (Selec-Trac II as on this Liberty here for sale still, however, allows driver to select low offroad-speed gearing.)  Engine block heater and remote starter for cold-weather starting.  Memory for radio and heated power seats/mirrors. Some $300 in custom-fitted Weather Tech floor mats and Weather Tech rear cargo mat (keeps slush and dirt well-contained). New set of snow chains.  Seriously ready for winter trips to Big Bear, Mammoth, and Tahoe while retaining full everyday driveability!

Top of the line model.  Less than 2,000 miles.  Showroom condition.  Never has been taken offroad.  New delivery March, 2013. Somewhat of a collector’s item.  Heavily optioned. Likely your last chance to get a near-new one this well-equipped, as Libertys are no longer in production! Color: Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat. My wife especially loves the chrome grill, blacked-out headlight surrounds, and silver-grey woodgrain interior accents, but I now admit I’m getting too old to fully use this Jeep.

Chrysler 5 year/100,000 mile powertrain, etc. warranties transferable to buyer.

Leather interior. Infinity premium 9-speaker (including subwoofer) CD/DVD/MP3/HDD sound system with Bluetooth Streaming Audio, Uconnect Voice Command, and Sirius XM Satellite Radio.

Original Window Sticker, Owner’s Booklet and Owner’s Reference DVD included. Much more. Pink slip title free and clear, and California license paid until March, 2014.

Some of the “Much more”: Hill start assist, hill descent control (having used this feature in other Libertys, I’ve found it to be truly amazing for rough downhill offroading!), side curtain air bags, security alarm, individual tire pressure display, trailer sway control, heavy-duty engine cooling, full-sized, matching spare tire/alloy wheel for 5-wheel tire wear rotation, automatic temperature control air conditioning, Mopar wheel locks, Mopar hood air deflector (reduces bug splatter and stone chips on windshield), two additional sets of Mopar floor mats (carpeted-type and slush-type), locking gas cap with 2 keys. 2022 New York Auto Show Roundup | All the reveals, reviews, pictures

Fri, Apr 15 2022

NEW YORK — In case you missed it, the New York Auto Show took place this year after being canceled in both 2020 and 2021 due to Covid. A lot of manufacturers showed up in force, but not everybody did. No matter, we were there, and we brought you news, photos and scoops from the floor throughout the show. All of our New York-related stories can be found at our central hub here, but if youÂ’d rather just get a small taste of everything in a quick and digestible format, keep scrolling. 2023 Kia Telluride and its new X-Pro trim Kia revealed the TellurideÂ’s first major refresh at New York, and it makes the three-row crossover a little bit more desirable without screwing up what we liked about it before. ThereÂ’s a new X-Line and X-Pro trim for someone who might want a little more off-road capability, and a number of tech improvements. Most notably, a newly-designed dash features new and bigger screens. 2023 Hyundai Palisade The TellurideÂ’s sister car from Hyundai was treated to a similar refresh. Like the Telluride, Hyundai gave the Palisade a slightly revised look, a new off-road trim (called XRT in the PalisadeÂ’s case), more tech inside and a new dash design with full-width air vents. If we had to choose, weÂ’re a little more impressed with the TellurideÂ’s refresh, as a number of us on staff actually prefer the pre-refresh Palisade styling over the new one. 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L This one was inevitable. Jeep revealed the longer, roomier versions of its Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer in New York, and theyÂ’re designated with an “L” at the end of their names. Total length grows by a foot, and the wheelbase goes up by 7 inches versus the standard Wagoneer models. Jeep has essentially allocated all this extra room to the cargo area, as it now offers a staggering 44.2 cubic-feet of space behind the third row. Besides the L, Jeep announced that its new Hurricane inline-six engine would find its first home in the Wagoneer. Efficiency gets a small boost, and power is more than sufficient at either 420 horsepower (standard output) or 510 horsepower (high-output version) from the twin-turbo I-6. Chrysler Airflow Graphite Concept The Stellantis party continues with Chrysler and its slightly revised Airflow. Re-styled for the New York market after initially debuting at CES in Las Vegas, the Airflow Concept gets new paint, changed accent colors, a slightly changed interior design and a new interpretation of the Chrysler logo.

Mopar teases four of 'nearly 20' SEMA Show concepts

Fri, Oct 23 2015

Yesterday it was Chevrolet. Today, Mopar has dropped some SEMA knowledge, releasing a quartet of teaser images that give us some indication of what kind of cars, trucks, and crossovers Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram will be showing in Las Vegas. Like Chevy, Mopar's concepts utilize both production and concept accessories, although Fiat Chrysler has gone a bit more indepth on at least one of its concepts. Immediately, the most tantalizing teaser is the one shown above. Yes, that's the back of a Challenger, and aside from the bright orange accents on the gray body, you should take notice of the badge mounted on the spoiler – yes, that says "GT AWD." To be honest, such a vehicle wouldn't be a huge shock, as both the Challenger's LX platform-mates, the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300, are offered with all-wheel-drive options. Still, adding such a vehicle to the production cycle would give Dodge a leg up on the rear-drive only Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro. Aside from that concept, FCA has also released teasers of a Ram-based concept, a 300-based concept, and what we're guessing is a Fiat 500X. We can't wait to see what the actual Fiat concept has to do with kiteboarding. As for the 300 and Ram, there's not a lot of hints on what sort of styling details they'll contain. The Chrysler has additional LED accents and what we're guessing is matte blue paint, while the Ram is based on a Hemi-powered 1500 with Rebel styling cues. This is just a very tiny sample of Mopar's final SEMA roster, which include "hundreds" of parts. There should also be a total of 20 vehicles covering all four former Chrysler Group brands, as well as Fiat. Naturally, we'll have plenty to report on each vehicle once the SEMA show kicks off in the next couple weeks.

2014 Jeep Cherokee: Long-term wrap-up [w/video]

Tue, Aug 11 2015

Sorry, Sweet Brown. Your place in Autoblog history as the most highly demanded long-term car has come to an end. We just finished a one-year test of a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, and after 27,000 miles of hard use, one thing is very clear: this is one of the best all-rounders we've ever tested. The Jeep Cherokee isn't perfect, and our long-term tester proved that. But no compact crossover is. Still, the Trailhawk oozed personality where other small CUVs seem bland, and the Jeep felt more like a trusty companion than just another test car. For road trips, the requests weren't, "Can I have a long-term car this weekend?" They were specific: "I'd like the Cherokee, please." No matter the season, the driver, or the situation, the Jeep was always a sure fit. Fiat Chrysler bet big with this one. It had a global platform, a new engine, and one heck of a funny face. The end result was a CUV that we'd gladly welcome back into our fleet any day. View 51 Photos Our car carried a sticker price of $38,059, but that's without goodies like HID headlamps, a sunroof, or even full leather seats. Lots To Like Admittedly, we picked the Trailhawk trim for cosmetic reasons (more on it's off-road capability in a second). To this day, many of us still think the Cherokee is a homely little thing, but its inherent weirdness doesn't stand out as much when you add the black accents and big, knobby tires of the Trailhawk model. The butched-up look really works here, and we wouldn't have wanted the Jeep any other way. Of course, opting for Trailhawk package meant getting one of Jeep's more expensive Cherokees. Our car carried a sticker price of $38,059, but that's without goodies like HID headlamps (which we could have used – the halogens were pretty weak), a sunroof, or even full leather seats. This car genuinely felt premium, though. Right off the bat, the Cherokee received compliments for its comfortable, supportive seats, not to mention the high quality of interior materials and the general fit and finish. Specifically, the interior packaging won us over early on. We appreciated things like the higher-end stereo, smart layout of the center console, and ample storage, including a bin under the front passenger seat cushion. (That said, we also found that this bin becomes a catch-all for wrappers, french fries, and anything else that might get dropped on the seat.) The Uconnect infotainment system was a joy to use, never giving us any finicky problems or usability issues.
