2005 Jeep Liberty Limited Sport Utility 4-door 3.7l on 2040-cars
Elmhurst, Illinois, United States
Up for sale is my daughters 2005 Jeep Liberty. It is in great operating condition, and has many parts recently replaced. It has a 3" Frankenlift ($1200+) and a recent ARB rock bumper ($1600). It has very little rust, one corner of a door has surface rust (see pics). No holes anywhere. Paint shines well with some trail scratches. See the trail rubs in the pics along the windows, near the antenna, and the drivers side rear door handle. Nothing affects the operation of the vehicle in any way. Will need tire pressure sensors if you care about that system. Passes Illinois emissions with flying colors. Makes a great daily driver that can go anywhere offroad. Its a "limited" edition with leather, moonroof, full and part time 4wd. Recent axle shafts, rear driveshaft, ball joints, and wheel bearings. Battery is less then 12 months old. Interior in great shape, 2 cracks in the drivers side leather seat - see closeup pics, and previous owner spilled some latex paint in the back. Aftermarket radio, and slush mats. Have original factory bumper to go with it - nothing wrong with it - my daughter wanted it to look "tougher". She bought a Wrangler, so we are selling this one. Have a clear title of course. KBB in only fair condition (and this is way better then fair for sure), and not considering the lift is $6724. Priced to move fast! |

Here's why you shouldn't try to drift a Jeep Cherokee
Tue, Nov 25 2014This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. There are many reasons why an XJ-generation (or really any other) Jeep Cherokee doesn't make for a good drift machine. It's tall, it's four-wheel-drive... it's a Jeep, okay? But someone apparently forgot to tell that to this guy. Uploaded to LiveLeak, this video shows some poor schmuck who took his Cherokee to a (mostly) empty parking lot and tried to drift it. Needless to say, things didn't go quite as he planned, but they probably went exactly as you might have expected. Thankfully, nobody appears to have been hurt. Or at least, we assume so, since the guy apparently survived to put the video up online.
Another crazy custom Jeep Wrangler spotted in Morocco
Sun, 03 Mar 2013What in the world is the vehicle you see above? Well, um... yeah. We have no idea. According to the video description from YouTube, however, it's a modified Jeep Wrangler, and it comes from the same person who created the equally insane side-by-side merged Wrangler you saw here.
We can clearly make out the Wrangler-shaped passenger compartment up top, but as for the other bits and pieces that make up this rather amazing machine, your guess is as good as ours. At the very least, it seems to us that the car's wheelbase has been given a significant stretch, and the grille may have come from an International LoneStar Harley-Davidson Special Edition semi truck.
What other components are sourced from the massive International hauler? No idea. We suggest you check out the video below and draw your own conclusions. Oh, and if you've got any other ideas, feel free to let us know in the Comments.
eBay Find of the Day: Jeep Comanche Zombie Response Unit
Sat, 02 Feb 2013We've seen some pretty fantastic apocalypse vehicles in our day. We've even owned one or two, but this particular Jeep Comanche tugs at our heart strings in all the right ways. Let's start with the basics: there's a stout 4.0-liter engine underhood hooked to a five-speed manual transmission, and while we wish this truck was four-wheel drive, the two-inch lift and oversize tires should help you overcome obstacles with enough momentum.
Details like handy shovels, Jerry cans and a brush guard inspired by the hardware on a CUCV help lend the truck a no-nonsense appeal, and the functional CB whip antenna means you can ask for backup when the undead hordes come your way. If you like what you see as much as we do, you can head over to eBay Motors to place a bid. The auction has inched up to $4,000 with just two days left on the clock.
