This 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Hemi 5.7L has very low miles and has been taken care of meticulously.
- Garage kept
- Maintenance records from 25,000 miles are available (I'm the second owner).
- Vehicle hasn't been smoked in since 2010, with no smell or burns evident.
- Even though this is an awd suv, it hasn't seen much rain or snow, and to my knowledge hasn't been used off road.
- The vehicle has it's 30000 mile service including 16 Iridium 100k mile spark plugs (standard copper champion plugs need changed every 30000 miles and cost roughly $300 from the dealer
- Transfer case oil also changed.
- New diehard battery.
- Regular oil changes preformed with mobile 1 Synthetic oil every 3-4k miles.
- The front struts/shocks were replaced by the dealer around 34000 miles
- Tires are original and I'd guess have 25% life in them
- Brakes should be changed within the next 7500 miles. ( I have new ceramic pads in the box that will be sold with the jeep)
MPG 13 city 19HWY (330hp, 375ft/lb of torque capable of towing 6500lbs)
Since I've owned this vehicle it has been as clean as you see it in the pictures 99% of the time. In a few pictures you will see water around the concrete, I rinsed and dried the engine and exterior half way through taking these pictures. There are no leaks of any sort. Pictures were taken with a Samsung S4 phone, so I'm not sure this captures how nice this vehicle really is.
If you kelly blue book this Jeep with the options and mileage above the private party "very good" is $19,743 (I'd place the condition somewhere between excellent and very good) This Grand Cherokee had an original window sticker of about $46k in 2006. I'm selling it because in 5 years I've put only 23k miles on it and the last time I changed the oil it was overdue by time and not mileage. I have a company vehicle that I drive primarily. Clear title.
Excellent condition, runs like new. Great deal for a lot of features! Tons of life left in this beautiful Jeep.
Feel free to ask any questions. Serious inquiries only. Make an offer!

Fiat-based baby Jeep spotted testing in US and Europe
Thu, 03 Oct 2013Details remain scarce, but our spy photographers have managed to capture the upcoming Jeep B-segment crossover for the first time, testing in both the Alps and in the US. Shown here as a cobbled-together Fiat 500L mule, the new Jeep model is expected to arrive for the 2015 model year and act as a replacement for the current Compass and Patriot models.
According to our shooter, the new "baby Jeep" will share a platform with the Fiat 500X, and both models will be built on the same assembly line in Turin, Italy. We can't tell much from these images, but the added length apparent on this 500L mule would seem to dispel the recent speculation that the new entry-level Jeep model would be sized closer to the Ford Fiesta - since the 500L is already considerably larger than the Fiesta. Powertrain options will likely mirror other Fiat/Chrysler collaborative vehicles like the Dodge Dart, but this Jeep will also try to live up to its off-road roots with an optional all-wheel-drive system.
Feds fretting over remote hack of Jeep Cherokee
Fri, Jul 24 2015A cyber-security gap that allowed for the remote hacking of a Jeep Cherokee has federal officials concerned. An associate administrator with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Thursday that news of the breach conducted by researchers Chris Valasek and Charlie Miller had "floated around the entire federal government." "The Homeland Security folks sent out broadcasts that, 'Here's an issue that needs to be addressed,'" said Nathaniel Beuse, an associate administrator with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Valasek and Miller commandeered remote control of the Cherokee through a security flaw in the cellular connection to the car's Uconnect infotainment system. From his Pittsburgh home, Valasek manipulated critical safety inputs, such as transmission function, on Miller's Jeep as he drove along a highway near St. Louis, MO. The scope of the remote breach is believed to be the first of its kind. The prominent cyber-security researchers needed no prior access to the vehicle to perform the hack, and the scope of the remote breach is believed to be the first of its kind. A NHTSA spokesperson said the agency's cyber-security staff members are "putting their expertise to work assessing this threat and the response, and we will take action if we determine it's necessary to protect safety." A Homeland Security spokesperson referred questions about the hack to Chrysler. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has already been the subject of a federal hearing this month, in which officials scrutinized whether the company had adequately fixed recalled vehicles and repeatedly failed to notify the government about defects. But cyber-security concerns are a new and different species for the regulatory agency. Only hours before the Jeep hack was announced by Wired magazine earlier this week, NHTSA administrator Dr. Mark Rosekind said hacking vulnerabilities were a threat to privacy, safety, and the public's trust with new connected and autonomous technologies that allow vehicles to communicate. NHTSA outlined its response to the cyber-security challenges facing the industry in a report issued Tuesday. In it, the agency summarized its best practices for thwarting attacks and said it will analyze possible real-time infiltration responses. But the agency's ability to handle hackers may only go so far.
FCA is setting a five-year strategy: Here's how the last one played out
Thu, May 31 2018We're slightly more than four years removed from Sergio Marchionne last five-year plan for FCA, a tell-all where the Italian-American automaker divulged its plans for the 2014 through 2018 model years. It was a grand affair, where Sergio told FCA investors that all was right in Auburn Hills, Alfa Romeo and Maserati were making comebacks, and the fifth-gen Dodge Viper received a mid-cycle refresh. You can read every last one of those past predictions right here. We're on our way to Europe to see Sergio's sequel, coming out Friday straight from FCA's Italian headquarters. (Bloomberg reports a plan to expand Jeep and Ram globally, combine Alfa Romeo and Maserati into a single division for an eventual spinoff, and downsizing Fiat and Chrysler. Also, EVs.) But before we arrive in Italy and find out exactly what Marchionne has planned for 2019 through 2023 as his last act as CEO, let's take a minute to tally up the results of his last term based on the same scoresheet we used in 2014. Now, we're only five months into 2018, so much of this — including vehicles like the Ram HD and Jeep Grand Wagoneer — could still debut this year. For those, we'll mark things TBD. We're not going to draw any conclusions or make any objectionable remarks. We're simply going to let the stats speak for themselves.
