This jeep has been great, 100% smoker free, literally not one thing has gone wrong since I've owned it. It has 138,000 miles on it and is an automatic, but seems like it runs like new. Fully leather interior, super comfortable. Sony deck with 2 12" subwoofers and a 500w kicker amp. Radar Detector (actually works really well, saved me a few times.) Tinted windows. 30" adventuro A/T tires with 60% tread, actually have done really well on trails and in mud. Front brush guard with 2 8"off road lights with cloth KC covers. Front bumper guard is removed for better approach angle when wheeling, those plastic things are terrible anyway, they just get torn up. The real bumper underneath is in perfect condition, I painted it matte black. I also painted the tow hooks, and diff cover gloss red. They look really good in person! Magnaflow exhaust with a high flow flowmaster catalytic converter, that combination produces a pretty deep and mean sounding exhaust. just passed smog 3 months ago, did REALLY well too. definitely a 250k jeep. comes with a full sized spare, and all 4 original stock rims. Up country suspension package which features gas shocks and a 1" lift. Power seats passenger and driver. Dana 30 up front, Dana 35 rear. 249 t case. 4 all time, neutral for towing, and 4lo. There are many reasons why an XJ-generation (or really any other) Jeep Cherokee doesn't make for a good drift machine. It's tall, it's four-wheel-drive... it's a Jeep, okay? But someone apparently forgot to tell that to this guy. Uploaded to LiveLeak, this video shows some poor schmuck who took his Cherokee to a (mostly) empty parking lot and tried to drift it. Needless to say, things didn't go quite as he planned, but they probably went exactly as you might have expected. Thankfully, nobody appears to have been hurt. Or at least, we assume so, since the guy apparently survived to put the video up online.

Jeep shows off Moab Easter Safari concepts crawling the red rocks

While most brands are busy showing off in New York, Jeep headed out to Moab for the Easter Jeep Safari with the company's fleet of 2013 concepts. This year saw the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk II, Wrangler Mopar Recon, Wrangler Stitch, Wrangler Sand Trooper II, Wrangler Flattop and Wrangler Slim Concepts tackle the rocks and sand, and Jeep was kind enough to bring along a camera crew to film the machines rolling over a few obstacles. The result is the video below, though don't expect to see too much hardcore off road action.
Instead, the quick clip features more than a few interviews with Jeep executives, including Jeep Head of Product Design Mark Allen, explaining what makes the Easter Jeep Safari so important. Finding surfing spots in the UK is tough work, even in a Jeep

You truly have to love surfing to practice the sport in the United Kingdom. The area isn't exactly teeming with warm beaches full of sunbathers, and absolutely no easy spots to find big waves. To be a UK surfer, you need to be a fearless adventurer, not to mention quite lucky. And driving a Jeep might help, too.
Surfers Oli Adams and Micah Lester are traveling around the British Isles in a Jeep Wrangler Overland trying to find the best surf spots out there. These guys don't fit the laid-back surfer stereotype, but that's because finding waves in the UK is hard work. They say that the waves at some of these spots only exist for about three hours every year when the current and winds are just right.
To find these surf spots, the Jeep's offroad capabilities are paramount. In some areas, as you'll see in the video, there isn't even a beach, just jagged rocks. It would be like the movie Endless Summer, that is, if it could start snowing at any moment. These guys are clearly dedicated to their sport.
