Very Rare, Low Miles, Leather & 4x4 For Winter!! on 2040-cars
Columbia City, Indiana, United States
I have very rare 2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited with leather! It has 70,9XX miles on it and has a clear title! It runs and drives like new with brand new Goodyear 225/70/16 tires from about 3,000 miles ago. It is a 4x4 with the bullet proof inline 6. The leather seats are both HEATED and POWER! It has an overhead console that tells the temperature and direction, mpg, miles until empty and more. The color is Steel Blue Pearl which is one of the most beautiful Jeep colors they've made. The underbody has been ZieBarted so you won't have to worry about it ever rusting. Everything on the Jeep works perfectly! No disappointments here! This isn't in brand new condition but the closest thing you'll find and one of the nicest Jeeps around. All the door jams are rust free which is rare for these. This is a completely stock Jeep and has been maintained perfectly. The rear shocks and brake drums were just replaced. It does have the towing package on it too! The KBB on the Jeep is $12,651 so my price is very fair compared to others on eBay. If you know anything about Jeeps you'll know finding one like mine is extremely rare. One like this sold for over $13k last month on eBay. The driver seat heater is not heating. The light will turn on and blink but doesn't heat. I haven't looked into it yet just wanted to disclose. Again, this Jeep is really clean. I just had a guy park behind me the other day and tell me "I just parked behind that brand new jeep out there." -That's the kind of quality this is. Please call, text or email with any questions. 260-414-9521.

Jeep Wrangler likely to get aluminum body, will stay in Toledo
Mon, 27 Oct 2014Perhaps more than any other vehicle currently for sale in the United States, the Jeep Wrangler is viewed by purist fans as a vehicle that simply must maintain the status quo. In this case, that means a body-on-frame design, solid axles, a relatively large engine sitting up front and a removable top. It's always been that way, and it always will be.
Maybe.
According to the most recent reports, the next-generation Jeep will continue to soldier forth with a full steel chassis underneath its stamped bodywork. The biggest change, reports Automotive News, will be that said panels will be hewn from aluminum instead of steel, a seismic shift of a transition not unlike what's happened with the new Ford F-150. Because it won't be a unibody, the SUV will likely continue to be assembled in Toledo, OH as it (almost) always has been - the latter has been a source of heartburn in recent weeks for the Northwestern city in the Buckeye State.
You probably won't see FCA's famous Easter eggs on an Alfa Romeo
Thu, Nov 17 2016They started in Jeeps, with images of seven-slot grilles showing up on windshield edges, the text "SINCE 1941" appearing in the clear plastic of headlight units, and a relief map of Moab engraved into a rubber cubby liner. Then a Chrysler got a map of Detroit and the outline of Laguna Seca materialized near the Viper's window switch. We've come to call them Easter eggs, but Klaus Busse points out that they were never really meant to be secrets, just ways to dress up what he calls "dead plastic." He's nevertheless cool with the phrase being applied and likes the enthusiastic response these design details get. Busse is intimately familiar with many of them, having signed off on many of them in his time as head interior designer for FCA's US operations. He recently moved to Europe to lead Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Fiat design there, so when I caught up with him next to the new Stelvio crossover at the Alfa stand in LA, I had to ask: Are we going to see any of those neat design details in Alfas or Maseratis anytime soon? The short answer is no. But he didn't say it's out of the question. Busse said if, for example, a designer wanted to put an Italian phrase somewhere on a car that was in keeping with the brand, he would allow it. Although he didn't come out and say it, it seems like he might feel this type of fun design element isn't necessarily appropriate for a higher-end brand like Alfa. And I get that. But I'm still going to check all the compartments of that new Alfa crossover for a map of the Stelvio Pass. From Maseratis to rental cars | Autoblog Podcast #511
Fri, Apr 7 2017On this week's podcast, Mike Austin and David Gluckman are in a huddle room (again), because the studio was already taken (again). We talk about the all-wheel-drive Dodge Challenger GT (again), as well as the Jeep Wrangler, Maserati Levante, Miata RF (again), and then David waxes poetic on mediocre rental cars (or similar). The episode wraps up with the traditional doling out of Spend My Money buying advice, with some input from an S2000 owner on advice discussed last time. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want buying advice of your very own, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. (If you record audio of a question with your phone and get it to us, you could hear your very own voice on the podcast. Neat, right?) And if you have other questions or comments, please send those too.
