Up for sale is my 1998 Jeep Cherokee with multiple upgrades. They include:

-Well built LT1 out of a 95 'Vette
-Custom Black/Gray leather interior

-Beefed up 5 speed transmission

-3" Old Man Emu Lift
-Eagle racing wheels
-Upgraded A/C system
-1.6mm Roller Rockers
-Headers
-MSD everything
-38lb Ford racing injectors
-More I know I'm forgetting

The Jeep has a new heater core and radiator. This is a CLEAN swap, nothing jerry rigged here. It was built by Keith Valone of Corvette Connections in Florida. When I registered the vehicle, I had them list a mileage discrepancy due to the fact that the Jeep itself has only 88000 miles on the body, but the drivetrain/motor has only 34000. Otherwise it is a clear title.

After dealing with Craigslist's finest for a couple of weeks, I've decided to put this up here. This Jeep has roughly $16000 put into the conversions and customizations. I have receipt for all of this, plus for maintenance. I am selling due to some mechanical issues which I will detail. The engine is running rough, and the port from the LT1 wont accept my diagnostic tool. I'm getting good fuel pressure so I think it's a spark issue, but I'm not sure. The motor ran great since I purchased it, but is running rough right now. The motor has some leaks from a couple of gaskets, nothing bad, and the rear axle needs a new gasket on the gear housing.

Pardon some of the smudges, but that is all they are.

As far as the Autocheck score, its due to the mileage discrepancy which I listed above.

For anyone who has wanted to do one of these conversions, all of the hard work has been done for you and then some. Not to mention it was done well. It would not take much to get this running well and have one very unique and fun Cherokee.

I have 100% feedback so bid with confidence and thanks for looking, and please make sure to ask any questions before bidding!

Jeep Liberty replacement takes shape

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

Now that the Liberty has left us for greener pastures, it's time to start looking into the future of the midsize Jeep model. The next all-new vehicle for the off-road brand will be the SUV you see here, effectively replacing the Liberty, and not necessarily carrying on with that name.
From the sides, the prototype you see here sort of looks like a miniature version of the handsome Grand Cherokee, albeit with a bit more in the way of body sculpting. Up front, the seven-slat grille will be front and center, with completely revised headlamp designs that are reportedly angular and sweep well into the front fenders (you can sort of see what we're talking about in the side profile). That doesn't sound very Jeep-like, but we'll reserve judgment until we, you know, see the thing.
The bigger question with the Liberty replacement will be whether or not its off-road chops will be up to snuff. After all, the two previous generations of Liberty models were body-on-frame traditional SUVs, whereas this new Jeep rides on a larger version of the Dodge Dart platform.

Mopar teases four of 'nearly 20' SEMA Show concepts

Fri, Oct 23 2015

Yesterday it was Chevrolet. Today, Mopar has dropped some SEMA knowledge, releasing a quartet of teaser images that give us some indication of what kind of cars, trucks, and crossovers Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram will be showing in Las Vegas. Like Chevy, Mopar's concepts utilize both production and concept accessories, although Fiat Chrysler has gone a bit more indepth on at least one of its concepts. Immediately, the most tantalizing teaser is the one shown above. Yes, that's the back of a Challenger, and aside from the bright orange accents on the gray body, you should take notice of the badge mounted on the spoiler – yes, that says "GT AWD." To be honest, such a vehicle wouldn't be a huge shock, as both the Challenger's LX platform-mates, the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300, are offered with all-wheel-drive options. Still, adding such a vehicle to the production cycle would give Dodge a leg up on the rear-drive only Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro. Aside from that concept, FCA has also released teasers of a Ram-based concept, a 300-based concept, and what we're guessing is a Fiat 500X. We can't wait to see what the actual Fiat concept has to do with kiteboarding. As for the 300 and Ram, there's not a lot of hints on what sort of styling details they'll contain. The Chrysler has additional LED accents and what we're guessing is matte blue paint, while the Ram is based on a Hemi-powered 1500 with Rebel styling cues. This is just a very tiny sample of Mopar's final SEMA roster, which include "hundreds" of parts. There should also be a total of 20 vehicles covering all four former Chrysler Group brands, as well as Fiat. Naturally, we'll have plenty to report on each vehicle once the SEMA show kicks off in the next couple weeks.

Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango to lose color options temporarily

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

In the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Dodge Durango? Well, if you fancy a more expressive color for your new SUV, you'd better get your order in, or plan on waiting until well into 2015.
The SUVs will be limited to just four monochromatic shades - black, white, silver and gray - until at least February, thanks to an upgrade to the paint shop at the two vehicles' Jefferson North factory. For the Grand Cherokee, that means it's losing more than half its color palette while the Durango is dropping two-thirds of its color catalog.
The loss of colors is inconvenient, but the upgrade will have a slightly bigger effect on the overall supply of SUVs, as Chrysler will need to end its relentless build pace at the factory for a three-week shutdown starting on December 22. The good news for fans of the SUVs is that once the work is completed, we should see a gradual expansion of the color palettes for both the Durango and Grand Cherokee, beyond even what's offered now.
