Here it is again. This time the auction WILL NOT END EARLY.

This XJ has been my baby since I got it Feb. 2011

FIRST OFF NO, ITS NOT RUSTED OUT AT ALL EVERYTHING IS SOLID AND IN TIP TOP SHAPE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED

I bought it with 117000 miles on it, added everything you see at 126000 miles.

Mechanically sound. Everything works. Hot heat and cold air. 4wd works as it should and windows go up and down without a miss.

it has the 4.0ltr straight 6, aw4 4 speed auto with OD, np231 part time transfer case, and 3.55 stock gears front and rear.

I am a nonsmoker (although when i bought it there were a couple cig burns on the headliner, there were no permanent signs of long term smoking done in this vehicle.)

What Ive done to it:

3 Inch Rough Country lift with lower control arms, rear add-a-leaf, and an adjustable track bar.

15 inch Craiger soft 8s

31x10.50 Kelly Safari TSR tires with about 85% life remaining

Cobra CB radio with a 4' Firestick antenna

Kenwood MP3/CD player with Polk audio speakers all around

This Jeep rides real nice given the lift and tires. True and straight. No uneven wear to the tires

There are a few things to be noted though:

The paint is good but not excellent. There are small chips and scratches here and there and some limb scuffs from the trails (could probably be buffed out but it isnt bad and adds character anyways)

The headliner is starting to fall down. if you notice in the pictures behind the rear seat the headliner sagging...These are up to date photos and thats how bad it is and will be when you come pick it up. Very common in these jeeps around this age too.

The steering wheel isnt perfectly center anymore due to the lift kit, but that can be readjusted. I just never got around to it. This DOES NOT have anything to do with a bad alignment. The Jeep is aligned well.

Oh and the rear main leaks a few drops after you get done driving...but what 4.0ltr doesn't? the amount is nothing to worry about.

Other than that, THIS JEEP HAS NEVER SEEN A MUDHOLE/PIT/WHATEVER YOU WANNA CALL THEM. I took this jeep out on the maintained offroad trails at Land between the Lakes Turkey Bay in western ky. If there was a puddle in the trail i wouldnt avoid it, but i would avoid all mudholes that would destroy a vehicle. I dont treat my cars that way.

As far as i know i was the second owner to this jeep. I bought it from a local dealer. It was a local jeep. and when i bought it, it was all stock.

I GET 17.5 MPG with this current setup in this jeep. I drive the speedlimit and drive it easy.

any questions dont hesitate to TEXT me at 2704852349. I cannot call always, I work a wierd schedule. Please give me time to reply, I will.

oh, and im selling because I am getting a srt4. Already in the works, I don't need or what any trades of any kind. This auction will run until its sold at the end.

just so you all don't bother me with this question, my reserve will be set at $4150. well below NADA and KBB value of $5500.  Bid it to win it.

200 dollar deposit via PAYPAL please at auction end to let me know your serious about buying. CASH only at pickup. no checks or certified funds. just greenbacks.

I have a clear title in hand with no lien against it. lets wheel and deal and the highest bidder win it

Jeep Chief and Wrangler Red Rock Responder teased ahead of Easter Jeep Safari

Thu, Mar 12 2015

Jeep is being coy about it's lineup for the 2015 Moab Easter Jeep Safari, releasing just a pair of shots and an exceptionally brief press release on two of the seven concepts coming to the desert later this month. So, what can we glean from the limited assets that have been given to us? Well, as we said, we know Jeep is bringing seven vehicles to its big festival. We also know the names of two vehicles, shown above – there's the Chief and the Wrangler Red Rock Responder. Which is which? A fair question. We're betting the second image is the Wrangler-based Red Rock Responder. As for the Chief, well, we've absolutely no idea what to expect there. Jeep's Moab concepts generally include the model name on which their based – see the Grand Cherokee Trail Warrior and Cherokee Dakar from last year, or even the Wrangler Red Rock Responder, mentioned above. There's no such moniker on the Chief. As for the Chief's illustrated teaser image, as we said, it doesn't reveal much. The body is angular, and quite Jeep like, with squared-off wheel arches and decidedly old-school taillights. Beyond that, though, we don't have much to go on. Expect much more not just on the Chief and Red Rock Responder, but on all seven of the concepts Jeep is bringing to Moab. The party starts on March 28 and runs until April 5. Be sure to check back then for full coverage. Related Video:

2016 Jeep Wrangler Backcountry is Xtremely Purple

Wed, Nov 18 2015

Assuming you're headed into so-called backcountry to do fun, outdoorsy kinds of things, chances are, you wouldn't want to use a bright purple vehicle with hot pink graphics as your means to get off the beaten path. Particularly if you're doing those outdoor activities in a winter wonderland, surrounded by nature's own cold, white blanket. Fortunately, then, Jeep is offering its new Wrangler Backcountry in four colors that aren't called Xtreme Purple: blue, black, white, and gray. No matter which hue you choose, though, you'll get the graphics package, so best to bear that in mind. Besides its searing shade of paint, the Wrangler Backcountry is based on the Sahara model and comes equipped as you'd expect for a real, useful, backwoods vehicle. An off-road-spec front bumper joins a matching powdercoated rear bumper, and its 17-inch wheels are borrowed from the hardcore Rubicon model. Buyers will have a choice of Rubicon Rock Rails or Sahara side steps to ease ingress and egress, and a hardtop in either black or, for an added price, a body-color. But hopefully not purple. The interior is updated for the Wrangler Backcountry with black and grey plastics and stitching, along with black leather and "sport mesh" seating surfaces. A nine-speaker Alpine sound system pumps up the jams, and Bluetooth comes standard. You can read more about the Jeep Wrangler Backcountry in the press release below, but first, check out our high-res image gallery of live photos from the show floor in LA. Oh, and if you do really like Xtreme Purple, you should know that the Wrangler Backcountry is the only Jeep you can get in this particular retina-assaulting hue. 2016 Jeep Wrangler Backcountry The Jeep Wrangler Backcountry boasts a winter capability theme and is based on the Wrangler Sahara model. It features a Backcountry decal on the front fender and rear quarter panel, a unique off-road front and rear powder coated bumper, 17-inch Rubicon wheels painted in Mid-gloss Black and a black fuel fill door. Wrangler Rubicon rock rails are standard on the Wrangler Backcountry, but Sahara side steps are also available at no additional charge. A black hard top is standard, but an optional body color hard top is also available. Wrangler Backcountry is available in five colors: Hydro Blue, Black, Bright White, Granite Crystal and Xtreme Purple. Backcountry is the only model in Wrangler's lineup available in Xtreme Purple.

Marchionne wants to nearly double Jeep sales by 2018

Thu, Jan 15 2015

Jeep just keeps breaking its own sales records. A couple of weeks ago, the off-road brand announced its worldwide sales exceeded one million units for the first time, marking its third consecutive global record and the fifth straight year of sales increases here in the US. But FCA isn't about to stop there. TheDetroitBureau.com reports that chief executive Sergio Marchionne, speaking to the media at the Detroit Auto Show, has announced a new sales target for the Jeep division: By 2018, he wants to see Jeep sell 1.9 million units in a single year, nearly doubling its all-time record. The expansion will surely encompass new products, with the all-new Renegade just warming up, a next-generation Wrangler on the way and a reborn Grand Wagoneer in the pipeline, as well. But the focus of FCA's preparations to reach the new target is on production capacity. While it's not clear whether the Toledo, OH plant where half of all the Jeeps sold around the world are currently built will continue to host the next Wrangler, FCA is expanding production overseas. The Renegade is already being built alongside the Fiat 500X in Italy, where another 1,000 workers are being re-hired and where another factory is set to start producing Jeeps, as well. A Renegade-based variant for the South American market will soon be built in Brazil, and by the end of this year, Jeep aims to start local production in China.
