Hi Everyone,
Thank you for checking out my EBay Auction. I have up for sale a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 Lifted with low miles. Jeep has a clean an clear title. Has lots of new accessories and parts that were replaced recently. I am not claiming this Jeep to be perfect in anyway and am selling because I recently bought a newer Grand Cherokee and don't need the extra vehicle. Things about the Cherokee and what has been done to it. I have owned the Jeep for over a year now. When I bought it is was completely stock and needed some newer parts. I put on a Brand New 3 inch suspension lift complete with new coils, shocks, add-a-leafs. The lift kit has a lifetime warranty and will transfer to the next owner. Shortly after getting the jeep I noticed signs of a head gasket leak so I had it taken in and replaced the head gasket, all the upper gaskets, had the head checked and mills and re-installed. I recently put on a whole new front steering assembly consisting of upper and lower ball joints, pitman arm tie rod, adjusting sleeve, outer tie rods, drag link and lower center link. I also put on a new aftermarket steering stabilizer the same time. When I bought it the previous owner installed a new water pump, radiator and fan clutch thinking that was the issue only later to find it was a head gasket. Jeep was recently painted due to some fade spots and some scratching in the old paint. I don't want to try and run the Jeep down, just don't want any surprises to the new buyer. I am selling the jeep way under value and am mostly just wanting to free up the funds. Recently had a kid and would be nice to have the extra funds. There are other parts that were replaced and off the top of my head I can remember. If you are looking for a cheaper 4x4 that has low miles and is slightly lifted to give it a good stance this is it. I do have the Jeep the listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. I am planning on getting some more pictures of the Jeep this week. Just waiting on the snow to stop to get more pictures. If you have any questions please feel to message me on EBay or text or call me on my phone. I will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have about the jeep. Thank you again to checking out my auction. 785-577-2571

Jeep Cherokee finally dealer-bound
Tue, 22 Oct 2013We had our First Drive of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee last month, but it appears that prospective buyers won't have too much longer to finally get time behind the wheel of the new small Jeep.
Automotive News is reporting that after a two-month delay, Jeep dealers will finally start receiving their first shipments of the new Cherokee, in the next 10 days. A Chrysler spokesperson confirmed to Autoblog that the Cherokee is indeed on its way to Jeep dealers.
According to AN, about 23,000 Cherokees have been built since production commenced back in June, but potential powertrain issues forced Jeep to make adjustments to the Cherokee along the way. Automotive News says that in order to make sure there are no issues with the Cherokee before it reaches customers, it is testing each vehicle after it rolls off the assembly line at a rented test track near the vehicle's Toledo North Assembly Plant.
Maserati Levante crossover not Jeep based after all?
Thu, 20 Feb 2014Maserati has been teasing its crossover project since 2011, which is when it first showed off the Kubang concept (pictured above). Still, the production version, rumored to be called the Levante, remains a complete mystery. The CUV was first rumored to borrow the platform from the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but new rumors indicate that the Italian, luxury crossover might actually take the underpinnings from the Quattroporte and Ghibli.
In a brief interview, Maserati CEO Harald Wester told CNN Money that the Levante wouldn't use Jeep's platform. Motor Trend spoke with an unnamed Maserati engineer who confirmed the rumor. Officially, the company says that no decision has been made.
We can add this to another long list of rumors about the Italian CUV. It was originally supposed to be built at Chrysler's Jefferson North assembly plant in Detroit. Then, plans were changed to build it in Italy.
Jeep Cherokee faces on-sale delay
Sat, 23 Mar 2013A report in The Wall Street Journal looks at some of the obstacles to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee that go beyond its mootable yet "very contemporary" looks, almost all of them based on Fiat's financial position. Starting with that sheetmetal, in defense of it SRT president Ralph Gilles and Jeep design head Mark Allen said they wanted to "make sure the design still looks modern five years from now."
The WSJ piece doesn't cite longevity as a factor, instead saying that its features originated in a design for an Alfa Romeo, the transformation into a Jeep design meant allowing Chrysler get it to market more quickly and save "hundreds of millions of dollars" in engineering.
The need for Fiat to save money while it weathers the European situation has cut budgets for development, engineering and the pace of retooling the Toledo, Ohio plant to build the Cherokee. In a familiar case of snowballing at work, among the effects will be pushing back the Cherokee's volume sales date and delaying updates to some of Chrysler's other products.
