This is a 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 that has had a charmed life in Florida. I am a Dealer in South Florida and I have always had a soft spot for the Cherokee, I purchased this one September 2011 It only 86,846 miles and from that time to now it has been my daily driver. Since I purchased the Jeep it has had no mechanical issues at all.

That having been said I have all service records from the time I purchased this Jeep till today. The tires are a year old this month. The oil was changed last month. The 4x4 works perfect the transmission and transfer make no noise at all and the 4x4 system engages very easily. The transmission shifts very smooth like only a Cherokee will. The engine is in outstanding conditions it has no fluid leaks at all. The a/c in this Cherokee is amazing it cools to a frigid 31 degrees that's a big deal in Florida and the heater works just as well. It does have a hitch with the light adapter. The inside of this Jeep is very clean and is almost in showroom condition everything is intact. This Cherokee has no power windows or power locks. The under carriage, frame, rails and doors do not have one bit of rust on them. I dare say this is one of the nicest Cherokees' on Ebay. I had the Cherokee painted a flat green to match its original color the paint system that was used is Plasti dip I was sold on this product because it is a reversible process it is maintenance free and it looked really good to me. If you have any doubts on Plasti dip please look it up before bidding there is information all over the web on Plasti dip. I also have pics of the Cherokee before I was painted to show the original paint condition.

Like I mentioned I am a licensed dealer in Florida, so if you are outside of Florida I can simply hand you the title along with a bill of sale as long as you show proof of residency outside of Florida and you as the buyer are responsible for your title transfer, tag and taxes in your home state. There will be no dealer fees associated with this transaction.

2014 Jeep Cherokee starting price set at $22,995*

Love it or hate it, the 2014 Cherokee is on its way to a Jeep showroom near you this fall. Today, Chrysler announced the different trim levels, features and pricing for its new compact utility with a starting price of $22,995 (*not including $995 for destination), which is $400 less than the 2012 Liberty it ostensibly replaces.
Available in four trim levels - Sport, Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk - the new Cherokee will come standard with Chrysler's 2.4-liter Tigershark inline four-cylinder engine with the upper three levels offering the option of the company's 3.2-liter Pentastar V6. The base Sport is your typical entry-level model, featuring equipment including manual cloth seats and black exterior mirrors and door handles, but it also has a five-inch Uconnect media center, LED taillights and 10 standard airbags. Stepping up from the Sport model, Latitude and Limited trims bring increasing levels of luxury starting at $24,495 and $27,995, respectively. All three of these trims are front-wheel drive in standard configuration and offer varying versions of Jeep's Active Drive four-wheel-drive system.
The range-topping $29,495 Cherokee Trailhawk (shown above) comes standard with four-wheel drive and numerous upgrades to earn Jeep's Trail Rated fender badge. These changes include a unique design that adds an off-road suspension with taller ride height giving more aggressive approach and departure angles, underbody skid plates, distinguishing exterior design elements and a seven-inch, reconfigurable instrument gauge cluster similar to what it found in high-trim Dodge Dart models. Federal investigations about safety of rear-mounted gas tanks is nothing new

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Chrysler are currently making waves in our daily news feeds due to a disagreement over the safety of a few million Jeep Liberty and Grand Cherokee models. Specifically, NHTSA has asked Chrysler to recall the SUVs because of the location of their fuel tanks, but you may be interested to know that requests such as this are nothing new.
Besides the two Jeep models, NHTSA has launched investigations over the years in such models as the Ford Crown Victoria (and its police-car counterpart), GM pickups built between 1972 and 1987, and rather famously the Ford Pinto.
Understanding how automakers and NHTSA have dealt with fuel-tank-safety concerns in the past may offer a better understanding of how Chrysler and the government agency will settle their current dispute. Check out the complete article from The Detroit News here.
