You are viewing a very nice and clean low mileage Jeep Cherokee Sport. It is painted in a nice Emerald Green Pearl, with Mica Grey interior. With less than 82 thousand miles this Jeep has many more trips to go. The paint the Cherokee is wearing still retains an awesome shine and reflection.
The interior was professionally detailed. While the seats have a few cracks in the lower vinyl belt, the seating areas are clean and free of rips and tears. All the seats were removed and the carpets were also steamed and shampooed they do have a stain or two but consistent with age. We are including the nice weather proof rubber mats for front and rear seating areas. The headliner is brand new. There are no indications that the truck has ever been smoked in. The windows and locks are both power. The Jeep has tilt steering for the preference of each driver in the family.
Mechanically the truck runs great and all fluids have been recently changed since the Jeep sat in a climate controlled storage garage for a few years.  The 3 inch lift was added to make the truck look like Chrysler should have made it look. The tires have 95 percent tread remaining and are mounted on factory Jeep aluminum wheels.  The custom bumper on the front of the Jeep adds a great rugged look. The windshield is brand new and free of any chips or cracks.
Please remember these auctions cost quite a bit of money and if you bid you are entering into a binding contract. While the Jeep has low miles and runs great you are buying as-is. This is a 16 year old Cherokee so expect a few flaws. The 250 dollar deposit is due within 24 hours of auctions end NO exceptions. Full payment is due with 7 days. Pickup can be made anytime within 30 days as long as full payment has been made. I have tried to be as honest as I can be with the description, even making it sound worse than what it is. Thanks and good luck bidding. Someone asked how much rust. This truck has ZERO rust. Its nice.

Jeep Wrangler to remain in Toledo, get a pickup version

Tue, Sep 1 2015

Production of the Jeep Wrangler is staying in Toledo, OH, and it might be getting a pickup in the near future, according to Automotive News. Meanwhile, Cherokee production is leaving Ohio. The announcement was reportedly made to plant management earlier today. "We found a solution that accommodates a variety of other interests to us because of the way in which we can move some product around," CEO Sergio Marchionne said to Automotive News. A Jeep spokesman declined to comment to Autoblog. Right now the official details about FCA's production plans are still hazy. However, an official announcement is expected when the automaker has a deal with the UAW, which could be by Sept. 14. According to insiders speaking to AN, the Wrangler pickup would join the lineup in 2017 or 2018. While losing the Cherokee doesn't help the Toledo factory, the new pickup should take up some of the slack. It also keeps Wrangler production going in Ohio until the next-generation model launches in 2018. The Cherokee is expected to move to the Sterling Heights Assembly plant in Michigan or Belvidere Assembly in Illinois because they build vehicles on the same platform, AN reports. The future of Wrangler production has been a hot topic at the Toledo plant for the entire year. There was initial speculation that model might leave the factory if it moved to an aluminum body. However, the latest reports offered some hope of the Jeep remaining there. Last week, Autoblog's sources at FCA also said that the Wrangler pickup was coming but couldn't confirm a timeframe. Infiniti looking for a new boss after Christian Meunier leaves to lead Jeep

Wed, May 8 2019

Nissan's premium division Infiniti is expected to announce a new acting global chief for the brand, the company said, after its current head, Christian Meunier, left to lead the Jeep unit of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Nissan's chief quality officer Christian Vandenhende will oversee Infiniti's global operations effective immediately, until a new brand chief is named, Infiniti said in the statement on Tuesday. Meunier, 51, was named Infinit's global chief in early January after its previous boss Roland Krueger left the Hong Kong-based brand. Meunier will take over as global president for SUV-focused Jeep effective immediately, Fiat Chrysler said in a separate statement. Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley had been running Jeep until he was elevated to the top job in July after the death of Sergio Marchionne. Meunier has international experience from his years with Ford, Land Rover, Nissan and Infiniti, which may prove valuable as Jeep attempts to expand overseas with a lineup of new products including the Gladiator pickup, a Wrangler plug-in hybrid, and the revived Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer nameplates. He's worked mostly in sales and marketing roles, including as senior vice president of sales, marketing and operations for Nissan North America; chairman of Nissan Canada; and his recent role heading up Infiniti. An Infiniti spokesman said Meunier's resignation was not related to Nissan's internal investigation into its former leader Carlos Ghosn.

Toledo continues fight for Jeep Wrangler production, despite mayor's death

Thu, Feb 19 2015

Where will the next-generation Jeep Wrangler be built? That's an open question, but it's one that the city of Toledo, OH desperately wants to be the answer to. The city suffered a major blow, though, with the death of Mayor Michael Collins earlier this month. Collins had been the city's biggest champion during talks with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, before suffering a fatal heart attack on Feb. 6. But Collins' tragic death isn't dampening the city's desire to carry on as the home of the Wrangler. "The mayor's passing is tragic. But on Monday, when I came to work, I knew exactly what I needed to do and exactly what needed to be done," the city's director of development, Matt Sapara, told the Detroit Free Press. According to the Freep, Sapara said Toledo and the state of Ohio have delivered an outline of a development plan that would give FCA the ability to buy an extra 100 acres to expand the factory. This is to help accommodate FCA's targeted output of 300,000 to 350,000 next-generation Wranglers, up from the 240,000 the factory can make now. "Our target in the proposal is to provide a way to increase the production capacity to a number that allows Fiat Chrysler to meet its business model," Sapara told the Freep, adding that the land could be available later this summer. FCA, meanwhile, has shown a somewhat ambivalent attitude towards Toledo production, with CEO Sergio Marchionne openly discussing the pros and cons of continuing to build the Wrangler south of the Michigan border. "We are going to take a very hard look at this without ignoring what these guys have done," Marchionne told the Free Press at last month's Detroit Auto Show, adding that he'd like to keep production there, provided the cost of retooling is comparable to relocating to another facility.
