Please message me with questions at: kasandrakbbuscarino@ukcatering.com . 1997 Jeep Cherokee 152,400 Miles
Up for sale is my 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I picked it up about one year ago, and I am the second owner. Before I
bought the vehicle there was hardly any work done on it, other than a motor swap. From what I was told by the last
owner there was a knock in the motor at about 138k miles; and it needed to be replaced, so a motor out of a Jeep
Cherokee with 78k miles on it was installed in this vehicle. I picked up this vehicle because of the interior
condition. Out of all the other Jeeps I had viewed, this one was by far the best one. I have maintained it in its
condition since I picked it up.
My original intention was to make this a rock crawler and to eventually do a motor swap to either a stroked 4.6l I6
or an LS1 conversion. My reason for selling it is that I have run out of time (never patience) on the car and I
don’t drive it as much as I would like to. I would like to see it go into someone’s hands that appreciates the
off-road or to a Jeep enthusiast.
I had a trusted shop in town do all of the major work on it, but for the little things I decided to tackle the
project myself. All of the parts on the vehicle are less than a year old, and installed about 7k miles ago. I hate
to say it, but this vehicle hasn't seen as much the off-road as I would have liked.
Full Disclosure:
· Interior is in good shape 9/10
· Exterior is in okay shape 7/10
· Tire tread is at 70%, spare has not been used.
· Exterior does have some hail damage from before I bought it, nothing major.
· Exterior has paint blemish on front fender near hood. (can provide picture)
· Exterior has scratch on rear by the tailgate that is exposed down to the metal.
· Exhaust is starting to rust, which is why I will be providing a new Flowmaster Exhaust kit. (can provide
pictures)
· Paint started to peel just below the driver’s door, on the rocker panel.
· I recently was chasing an ignition issue, which was from the fuel pump giving out. (everything was addressed at
the local Chrysler dealership)
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me.

There are several modifications on this Jeep, so I might have missed some. I believe I got the majority of them.

Jeep Liberty replacement takes shape

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

Now that the Liberty has left us for greener pastures, it's time to start looking into the future of the midsize Jeep model. The next all-new vehicle for the off-road brand will be the SUV you see here, effectively replacing the Liberty, and not necessarily carrying on with that name.
From the sides, the prototype you see here sort of looks like a miniature version of the handsome Grand Cherokee, albeit with a bit more in the way of body sculpting. Up front, the seven-slat grille will be front and center, with completely revised headlamp designs that are reportedly angular and sweep well into the front fenders (you can sort of see what we're talking about in the side profile). That doesn't sound very Jeep-like, but we'll reserve judgment until we, you know, see the thing.
The bigger question with the Liberty replacement will be whether or not its off-road chops will be up to snuff. After all, the two previous generations of Liberty models were body-on-frame traditional SUVs, whereas this new Jeep rides on a larger version of the Dodge Dart platform.

2015 Jeep Renegade leaks out ahead of Geneva debut

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Meet the Renegade - Jeep's new baby crossover that's set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show this week. The folks at Jalopnik got their hands on a small batch of photos of the new little cutie, showing what appears to be a Trailhawk (read: trail-rated) version, as well as a more civilian-spec Renegade, complete with a new removable roof system, reportedly called My Sky.
Details are slim, though in addition to the exterior images, one photo of the interior has also been leaked, showing what appears to be a small, yet functional (and nicely appointed) cabin. Early reports suggested that the new small Jeep would be based on the Fiat 500L platform, though Jalopnik rightly points out that the Renegade looks an awful lot like the Panda 4x4. Regardless, there's still likely some 500L bones under there, and we'll know more once the official details are revealed in the very near future.
Head over to Jalopnik for more shots of the cute little Renegade, and stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Jeep gives a trio of customs an encore showing at SEMA

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

While Jeep certainly had some new customs on display at this year's SEMA show, it wasn't afraid to recycle a few that people might have missed from earlier this year. The maker of many beloved off-roaders already displayed the Jeep Cherokee Dakar, Maximum Performance Wrangler and Wrangler Mojo at the 2014 Easter Safari, but they all made it to SEMA for an encore.
Based around the Trailhawk, the Cherokee Dakar (pictured above) imagines an even more off-road-capable version of the crossover. The concept wears a mix of Silver Steel Stain paint with Flame Red graphics and rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires. To back up the rugged look, the Dakar is fitted with rock rails and skid plates protecting the oil pan, front suspension, fuel tank and other underbody parts. It also sports prototype parts from Jeep Performance Parts, including a lift kit and fender flares.
The Wrangler is one of the paragons of off-roading, and as the name suggests, the Maximum Performance Wrangler concept is meant to be the ultimate example of what it can do. The custom features locking Dana 60 axles front and rear, a 4:1 Rock-Trac transfer case, prototype 4-inch lift kit and 37-inch Mud Terrain tires over beadlock wheels. To stay on the trails well into the night, a bar of LEDs is mounted above the windshield. And finally, the Mopar Blue exterior kind of makes the vehicle look like the world's toughest blueberry.
