1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport

I have a very nice Jeep Cherokee Sport, Automatic with 4 wheel drive, 2 owner 86,500 original miles. A very rare find with this low miles. It sports the legendary 4.0 straight 6 cylinder known to run between 250,000-300, 000 miles. The Jeep starts, runs, drives straight as an arrow and stops on a dime. I would not hesitate driving it across country. Is it perfect? No. Is it in incredible condition for its age? You bet. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION prior to contacting me. 443-496-0701

The not so great-

  • The seats have light stains. I suspect they will steam clean out or leave it alone. They are not dark stains

  • The front seat belts have black marks from being shut in the door.

  • The carpet has some stains up front here and there.

  • The rear passenger side door has some discoloring on it. Almost like a mildew. It may buff out or leave it. It’s not that bad.

  • Misc light scratches you have to hunt for and a small ding on front fender.

The pretty darn good stuff-

-No leaks, smoke or ticks.

-It runs incredible and drives straight and smooth

 - A/C ice cold

-86,500 original miles only 2 owners

-Completely rust free with exception of a little surface rust spots on bottom

-All lights, wipers and horn works. No engine lights.

- Brand new tires

-The dash is perfect

- All of the glass is good, no cracks.

-Never off roaded

- Near rear door shocks

- Newer shocks.

- Front end suspension appears to have been rebuilt or maintained. Nice and tight

No squeaks or anything weird.

Terms - $500 due immediately at auction end. Full balance due within 3 days. Cash or wire transfer only.

Considering offers. Please see my feedback as a seller. I’ve sold a few cars on eBay and never once had a complaint. “Sold As is where is”. Buyer makes and pays for all Shipping arrangements. No refunds, no warranty, No guarantee. The Jeep is 18 Years old. It is not perfect but I have identified everything I can find on the jeep. FCA CEO Mike Manley will run Americas for Stellantis after PSA merger

Sun, Dec 20 2020

DETROIT — Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley will run operations in the Americas when his company merges with FranceÂ’s PSA Peugeot early next year. FCA Chairman John Elkann announced ManleyÂ’s new post on Friday in a letter to employees. ManleyÂ’s role in the merged company had been a mystery. PSA CEO Carlos Tavares will run the overall company, to be named Stellantis. Shareholders of both companies will vote on the merger Jan. 4 to seal the deal creating the worldÂ’s fourth-largest automaker. The merger is expected to be completed by the end of March. PSA will get six seats on the new companyÂ’s 11-member board, which will be chaired by Elkann. The Americas, especially the U.S., are key to the new companyÂ’s success. Fiat ChryslerÂ’s Jeep and Ram brands are highly profitable, and Tavares has long wanted to sell PSA vehicles in the U.S. Manley has been the Italian-American automakerÂ’s CEO for 2 1/2 years, taking over when Sergio Marchionne died in 2018. Stellantis will have the capacity to produce 8.7 million cars a year, just behind Volkswagen, the Renault-Nissan alliance and Toyota. Retro Review covers that Jeep Wrangler TJ you wanted in high school

Fri, May 8 2015

The Jeep Wrangler TJ holds a dear place in my heart. When they were introduced, the return to circular headlights helped pull my dad into the dealer, and he bought one. A few years later, I learned how to drive a stick in that Jeep. Now, MotorWeek has fired up the time machine for a look at the '97 Wrangler as part of the Retro Review series. One of the great things about these videos is that they offer a chance to see if nostalgia lives up to reality. In this situation, that seems to be the mostly case. Even when new, MotorWeek finds a lot to praise about the TJ, especially in terms of handling and style. It's not all perfect, though, with a major complaint about the braking. Watch the clip to see if the show's take on the Wrangler lives up to your memories of them, too.

Key-swapping thieves steal Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT from FL dealer

Sat, 09 Nov 2013

Just a few weeks back, we reported on the theft of an Audi RS5 by a pair of creative thieves who managed to swipe the car's keys when the salesperson stepped away from their desk. Now, a Florida dealership is missing a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 after some crooks switched the Jeep's keys with an identical, non-functioning set.
According to the report from local NBC affiliate WPTV, the men went in and spoke to a dealer about the Jeep. They walked outside, took a look at it, started it up and in the process managed to switch out the fobs. After doing their time with the salesperson, the thieves walked back out to the car, got in and drove away.
"I mean obviously, the way it was done, I think that they were professionals and they knew what they were doing," said Arrigo Jeep General Manager Joe Tufo. "The fact that they did it in broad daylight and switched the key fob and it was like it was nothing. That's what makes it unique," he added.
