Up for auction/for sale, Very nice 1977 Jeep Cherokee "S" or sport. Same as a chief with different color scheme basically or a wagoneer in a 2 door if you will. Truck was from Oregon this spring. A little rust starting in the lower rear 1/4s but not bad by our northeast standards at all! Other than that it's bonafide west coast clean. Undercarriage is rust free and excellent. I had it shipped and drove it for the summer and had my fun, time to move on to other projects. This Jeep is the tightest handling one I've ever had or driven and I have owned a few. Nice strong 360 with edelbrock performer 600 4 barrel. Runs excellent, good road manners and excellent power. Previous owner put in new under-hood wiring harness. Newer tune-up. Interior is pretty nice other than front portion of the carpet. Seats and dash are in good shape, aftermarket gauge cluster that looks excellent. Very nice glass, chrome and stainless are in amazing shape. All the lights work, great brakes. Will pass legit inspection most anywhere, Body is very good other than the rust just starting as mentioned. Paint is old but still shines in original beautiful sunshine yellow. Jeep is a great driver, cruiser or camp/off road rig. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it everyday or even put the wife and kids in it as a driver. If you have any questions not answered here feel free to email me or call/text me at 518-281-6oh5eight. Jeep is for sale locally as well so it might be ended at any time. Get in touch if your interested. Willing to help with shipping arrangements. Thanks for looking.

Texas student drives Barbie Jeep to school after DWI
Fri, Sep 4 2015A Texas college student who lost her license when she was charged with a DWI this spring found a creative way of getting around campus. Tara Monroe, 20, is a student at the University of Texas at Austin. She had her driver's license automatically suspended when she refused a breathalyzer test after leaving a Waka Flocka concert on March 4. He dad took her car away and left her with a bike. But that just wasn't classy enough for Monroe. "Riding a bike around campus sucks," she told MySA.com. "Like really sucks." She searched Craigslist to find an alternative and settled on a bright pink Fisher-Price Barbie Jeep Power Wheel toy to help lug her stuff around campus. She named it after the original owner, a little girl named Charlene. The unorthodox ride has turned Monroe into a minor celebrity. Pictures of her slowly making her way around campus in the toy car have been popping up on social media. "This is the best way I could have gotten my 15 minutes of fame," she said. "Basically, it was the best decision I've made in college, yet..." The Barbie Jeep has a 12-volt battery and only goes about five miles per hour. Monroe says she loves the attention she is getting from her immature hijinks. This incredibly detailed toy Jeep will set you back $2,300 [w/video]
Wed, Dec 30 2015When I was a kid, I desperately wanted one of those Power Wheels Ford-badged Big Foot impersonators. They were far cooler than my lousy, plastic Big Wheel trike. This 1/8-scale electric Jeep takes the Power Wheels idea to a fanatical level. For one, the Capo Racing Jeep is as true to the real Wrangler as is possible in a 1/8-scale vehicle. Everything works, from the three-speed automatic transmission to the transfer case to the locking differentials. It uses a body-on-frame design with a real, metal multi-link suspension. In the cabin, the seats recline and the instruments light up. It has to be one of the most remarkable miniatures we've ever laid eyes on. Of course, that all comes at a price. As our chums at Jalopnik point out, for $2,300 you could pick up a full-size Wrangler. It'd be battered, sure, but it'd be something you could take on actual roads. Check out the fully gallery of images and official details over on the Capo Racing website. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences.
