1982 jeep scrambler 12x,xxx miles on body. 4.0 out of 99 jeep Cherokee u/k miles. T-18 4 speed. New paint last year, fender flares, shocks, bumpers. 33 in tires, 4 in lift. There is probably more that I am forgetting. I have the tops for the half doors and full hard doors that need painted. I probably have enough paint left to paint the doors. The jeep needs a heater core and the speedometer doesn't read correct speed. Also needs the backup lights fixed. THE FRAME HAS BEEN REPAIRED by the previous owner and appears very sturdy. The rest of the frame is solid and rust free with possible slight surface rust. Look at the pictures. I can email more pics if needed. This is a excellent scrambler and you won't find any better any cheeper. This is a thirty year old vehicle so it is not perfect. This jeep is for sale locally so auction may be ended at anytime.

2014 Jeep Cherokee: June 2014

I got a text message from Editor-In-Chief Sharon Carty one afternoon proclaiming that her new favorite SUV is our long-term 2014 Jeep Cherokee. And she's not alone. I'm not sure if anyone else on staff would go so far as to use the "favorite" descriptor, but after just over a month of honeymooning with our new long-termer, it's safe to say that the Jeep is quickly finding its way into the good graces of a number of Autoblog staffers.
There's good reason for all that praise, too. Thus far, the Jeep has proven itself to be incredibly competent and comfortable for daily life - it's functional, quiet, and packed with a host of amenities that make it easy to live with. It's been wholly trouble-free (with less than 4,000 miles on the clock as of this writing, it ought to be), but even nitpicks have been few and far between.

Blake Anderson drives an over-the-top patriotic Jeep

Comedian Blake Anderson is seeing growing success as one of the stars and co-creators of the Comedy Central show Workaholics. Not surprisingly, when you get your own TV show, there's a deep desire to celebrate with a big purchase, a car perhaps. Anderson did just that, but as opposed to plunking his money down on a Porsche or Mercedes-Benz, he took a much more patriotic route. Anderson described his ride as "an American Jeep" in an interview with Conan O'Brien, and he didn't mean that it was from the AMC years of the off-road brand's ownership. Instead, this one is as patriotic as they come thanks to a beautifully regal bald eagle covering the hood with the nation's flag as the background running up at least to the windshield.
