Custom jeep Fiberglass CJ7 on a landcruiser FJ drive train. Landcruiser from the transfer case back. Fiberglass body, hood, fenders, top and doors. Chrome steel grille. Low hours on a rebuilt 327 350 HP corvette motor (1967). Will run 6000 RPM very nicely. T350 GM automatic transmission. Custom built traction system (very stout). 2-way exhaust (dash board controlled cut-outs) run open or mufflers. Both drive shafts have safety hoops. 44" Ground Hawg tires in good condition. Full roll cage to frame. No wrecks. No leaks in the engine, transmission and transfercase, You have to do the research to make it street-able per state. In Michigan...the bumpers and frame are too high, no speedometer. Gas gage is not working. This jeep is the ideal off road vehicle. Climbs anything (not a rock crawler) survives deep water, very light! Almost floats in water! Comes with a hard top, bimini top and Fiberglass doors. I do have a spare transmission and front axle for parts only.

2014 Jeep Cherokee musters 22 MPG city, 31 highway
Thu, 05 Sep 2013Production and media drive delays included, there has been no lack of press surrounding the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. With the most recent delay reportedly due to powertrain calibrations, we've been waiting to see how the Cherokee's fuel economy looks against the highly competitive compact CUV segment. Thanks to the EPA, we now know the fuel economy figures for the newest member of the Jeep family.
Arguably, the Cherokee has the most modern powertrain in its class with an updated base engine, all-new V6 and all-new nine-speed automatic transmission, but its fuel economy figures are simply on par for the segment. Still nothing to scoff at, though. According to fueleconomy.gov, front-wheel-drive Cherokee models with the base four-cylinder mill will top out the lineup with 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 mpg on the highway; opting for four-wheel drive with this engine drops the figures to 21 city and 28 highway. Get even crazier with the option list, and the new 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 will get you 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway in two-wheel-drive form or 19 city and 27 highway for 4WD.
If you're wondering how that stacks up among compact CUVs, head on over to Automobile Magazine for a full fuel economy breakdown for the segment. The controversially styled crossover hits dealers this month, and we'll be driving it in just a couple of weeks.
Jeep gives Cherokee its yin and yang with Sageland and Urbane concepts
Sat, 19 Apr 2014Among the design concepts Jeep has prepared for Beijing Motor Show this year are a pair of Cherokees dressed up in contrasting schemes.
In one corner we have the Sageland concept pictured above, drawing its inspiration from Shangri-La with an Ivory Peal tri-coat and bronze trim for the grille, fascia appliqués, roof rack, sunroof, mirror caps and exhaust tips. Inside it's all earth tones with light gray Nappa leather seats and red and blue top-stitching inspired by traditional Chinese themes.
Meanwhile the Urbane concept (pictured right) takes the Cherokee in a different direction with steel blue metallic paintjob and black accents. Inside it adopts the theme of Chinese calligraphy with Piano Black accepts and dark red Nappa leather.
